Fantastic location...great for a family vaca!

My family and I had a wonderful week - the location is top notch and the home sits right at the waters edge. So great to have a private dock to ourselves - the kids enjoyed endless hours of water fun! Overall, it's a super cute property with most of the amenities you would need for a week long vaca. We were made aware by the owners that the oven was not working prior to our arrival. I appreciated the heads up, which allowed us to plan accordingly. I brought some cooking tools w/me and between that and the outdoor grill, we made it work. Additionally, we had some issues with the WIFI - both my husband and I had to access our laptops for work through the week and needed to have some connection. Although the owners were out, their son was very responsive and came to the house to help us reset the router. He was super helpful and accommodating. Thanks again to Jane, Don and Terry for a great vacation! Wonderful home, lots of beach towels, as well as kayaks!! I would definitely recommend.

Beautiful views

This property has a nice layout for a family. Beautiful views from the dock. Nice patio a grill. When I have stayed at other rented properties there have been extra plush like new towels, shampoo, etc. left for guests. That is not the case with this property. One older towel left for each guest. Not a dealbreaker but this property is missing little amenities for the price point. We were not able to get the internet to work using the password. But, I did not reach out to the owner either. The property is a bit of a drive from the main street area. However, it is right on the lake

Absolutely Beautiful

This has been one of the nicest properties we've stayed at. We had to meet Donald for check-in and he gave us a full tour of the house and let us know the rules and what to expect. The house was more than adequate for our needs except perhaps for the kitchen. There wasn't quite enough things to use for large family-style cooking. Other than that, we had everything we needed and then some. The house itself is a multi-level home with huge sitting areas for the bedrooms. There's plenty of room and having a bathroom on each floor was great. The treasure of the house is the backyard with a gorgeous deck and docks out to the water. It's your own private swimming area and it's huge. Donald provided life jackets, kayaks, noodles, and beach towels for us. There is even a hose attached to the side of the house, near one of docks, so you can thoroughly rinse off after a day of swimming. We had a great time here and would definitely love to come back.

Beautiful property right on the water

You can't get much closer to the water than this. The flowers all around the deck make it extra pretty. And there were homemade cookies for us when we got there. Don and his family definitely care about their renters and want them to have a good time. The cooking pots could use some updating, but other than that, kitchen was fully stocked. Wonderful time. Hope to come back!

Happy 4th of July!

We really enjoyed our stay and the place was amazing! We loved the location and seclusion. The house was great, it had everything we needed. We were there for the 4th of July and we had a great view of the fireworks that were displayed from Manson. It was fun to watch all the boats that went to Manson to watch the fireworks head back home after the event. There was a lot of them. The only bummer was the weather. We usually come to Chelan a little later in July but just didn't work out this year. There were a lot of clouds and the temperature was mostly in the lower 70's. When I go to Chelan I want the 90's. The water is very cold but it did not stop my 14 year old son. He was in it a lot. The location is a little ways out of town but it really didn't bother us too much. We had to drive in to Chelan a couple times to go to the store but it wasn't too bad. We loved it! Thank you!

Excellent would stay here again

This is an amazing place right on the water of Lake Chelan. Jane and Don were very friendly and helpful with recommendations for activities in the area. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to make all your meals, bedrooms are ample. Very clean and well maintained! Anyone who decides to visit Chelan will have a great time here, diving off the dock with your own private swimming space or enjoying a class of wine on the water front deck. Highly recommend this place!!

A great stay in a lovely area

This property was more than we expected. The location is fantastic being right on the edge of the lake. The house is very comfortable and spacious and it's not far to Chelan on a scenic drive. Down the road a little further is a great cafe with excellent coffee! Being hikers, we found many interesting places to visit. The geological history is also worth checking out if you're interested. The end of the lake is well worth a visit on the boat for hiking or biking, as is the nearby National Park. We loved our stay here and had no problem in filling in a week.

Wonderful Lakefront Home

I loved the setting with the deck right next to the dock. It invited you to eat all your meals outside. The home is nicely appointed with artwork and books which create a warm cozy atmosphere. The home is built on three levels with the entrance from the driveway on the second level. The stairs were no problem, however. I would recommend this home for up to 5 people.

This is a relaxing home-base for great adventures.

Unique setting on the lake with dock and boat moorage. Loved the sunrise on the deck and shade in the afternoon. Chelan is a fun town just a quick drive away to say nothing of the wonderful and abundant wineries and ample opportunities for hiking and biking.

The Lloyds Lakeside House Stay

My wife and I have stayed at many places in the Chelan area including hotels, motels, and B&B's. This is by far the most beautiful place we have stayed. It is located right on the west side of the lake with panoramic views up and down lake. Very quiet in a very quality home. Incredible kitchen for self catering.

Excellent location on the lake shore. Home had everything our group required. Would stay here again.

Fun Labor Day weekend getaway with family and close friends on the shores of Lake Chelan. Kayaks and boat dock were a big hit with our group. This property had everything we needed and was just a short drive to town or one of many Chelan wineries.

Chelan is Great, Renting House Was Horrible Experince

We were not welcomed at all, it was more like use renting their house and it was a VERY large inconvenience to them… and they made that clear. We were sent an email by the rental company that outlined the following: • Check-in time: 3:00PM • At least 48 hours prior to check-in, mail the guest contact to get the keyless entry code to house • Check out BEFORE 10:00AM ( VERY EARLY) • Remove all perishable items • Close and lock all windows and doors. Turn key on the outside to lock the door • We also paid a cleaning fee Issues: 1. I emailed the guest contact at least 48 hours prior to check in and received no response. Continued to email and call and received no response. After traveling 5 hours, arrived in Chelan with family. No response. Called rental company, Evolve, no help what sop ever. We show up at the house at 3:30PM to find the owner and his wife still cleaning the house. And were told that WE didn’t follow the directions and that WE are not supposed to check in until 4:00PM at the earliest. 2. We were not given a key to the house or keyless entry code. We were told that we had to go in/out via garage. 3. We were told by owner that we were not allowed in garage. 4. The owner locked doors to rooms ( i.e. office and other rooms) so were unable to use, although the office was advertised as a room that we could use/ additional sleeping quarters 5. The refrigerator and freezer were full of food. For a family of 7, we had 1 shelf and one drawer that we could use. We were told by owner that that we had to use our coolers. 6. House was very much lived in, i.e. their toothbrushes, clothes, personal hygiene items, etc. were in the house. It felt as if this was their home that they lived in on a regular basis and we imposing on them 7. They seemed to have an issue with us having kids ( although they were listed on the reservation) 8. We were told to clean various things, although we paid a cleaning fee. 9. The owner came to the house to retrieve items from the garage, then did a walkthrough of the house, while we were there. It honestly seemed like he was checking up on us. 10. No extra Blankets or sheets available There is more, but not enough space to write it. All and all, this was an uncomfortable experience and the total downside of the vacation.

Beautiful home right on the lake

What can you say, when someone shares their slice of paradise it is 5 star. Swimming, kayaking, dining right on your back porch. Morning sun, afternoon shade, large kitchen and plenty of Jazz. Driveway is a little scary first time but plenty of parking. Extremely quiet during the evening then you can watch boats and jet skis in afternoon but what do you expect being right on the lake.

Beautiful location right on the Lake

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home right on the Lake. Spacious and comfortable with all of the amenities. Waking up to the sunrise across the Lake was a great way to start the day. We also enjoyed the kayaks and getting out on the water. We plan to return again next year!

Beautiful serenity

The cabin is situated perfectly to give you the feel of privacy with a huge expanse of waterfront, yet you are not isolated with neighboring cabins on one side and a 5- minute drive to food and a mini- mart. The hosts were very helpful and friendly, the cabin is well-maintained with every amenity you could possibly need. We were entertained all day and slept well on the comfy beds to the sounds of the lake. And my teenagers didn't even need technology to keep them busy, they had too much fun outside! We would definitely stay here again if we make it back to Washington, thank you Jane and Don!

This is a lovely home in a beautiful lakefront setting with spectacular vistas.

We really enjoyed our stay at this exceptional property. Upon arrival, the owner met us and gave us a tour of the home, outlining pertinent information to the property. It was nice to have access to the kayaks which our family members took out on the lake. The home owner shared with us that lake conditions could change rapidly which was useful to know. It was wonderful to sit in the morning sunshine with coffee & breakfast on the outdoor patio. The steep drive to the property is a negative factor, as is getting turned around to go back up the drive. Also, based on the cost of the rental and the $150 cleaning fee assessed, it was a bit much to ask that linens be removed from the bed.
