This adorable cottage in Shelby is the perfect home base for your trip. With 2 cozy bedrooms and a bonus den/office space featuring a bunk bed and twin bed, this fantastic rental is ideal for small groups or families. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like heating, WiFi, and a washing machine during your stay. Whether you're seeking a getaway or a fun family adventure, Luckyville offers the perfect setting a warm gas fireplace, and a peaceful atmosphere that invites relaxation and connection. Please no there is not central air or air conditioning in the cottage. There are ceiling fans in 2 main bedrooms and 2 box fans.

Please know there are No pets allowed and No Off Road vehicles allowed or Parking for Off Road vehicles

Featuring a beach nearby short walk and beach chairs, this cottage is a good spot to soak up some sun. Note we are close to Lake Michigan, but not on and Stony Lake is a very short drive. Float the Stony creek from Stony Lake to Lake Michigan. The shared private beach access is only 3/4 of a mile from Luckyville, within walking distance.

During your stay, head outdoors where you can relax on the large deck, hang out be the firepit, and roast marshmallows or grill your favorite meals on the gas grill.

Luckyville is located in Shelby, which has many attractions close by. Lake Michigan and Silver Lake State Park. Golf Courses, Benora Shores, Old Channel Trail, Double JJ, Oceana Golf Club, Grand View, Traveling with the little ones? Lewis Farm Market & Petting Farm, Craig's Cruisers Family Fun Center, Double JJ Resort Waterpark, Country Dairy Tour, Montague to Hart Bike Trail, or Michigan Adventure for the day, along with many other.

Pentwater is located just north of the Silver Lake area. Pentwater has the small beach -town charm with its quaint shops, food, and ice cream. Cherry Point just north of Luckyville offer homemade donuts and treats daily. Dinner at the Farm House Kitchen & Market or Stony Lake Inn is a short drive, or go south to the Whitehall / Montague area for Old Channel Trail inn. Ludington to the 40 minutes north offers up many shopping, dining or beach activities.

We had such a wonderful time at Luckyville! All the amenities, space, pretty privately located and the “Welcome” touches did not get missed. Our host Larry was very responsive and provided a great list of things to do in the area. The beach…AMAZING! We all agreed, we would stay here again :)

We enjoyed our stay at the Luckyville rental!! It is a great location close to the beach. Everything we could’ve needed for inside the house was there and provided for us and so many great items for playing games in the yard and beach toys were provided too. Larry goes above and beyond to make your stay a great one and checks in to ensure that there are no issues or questions! Couldn’t have asked for a better host

Amazing location, amazing stay!

We had the most wonderful stay at Luckyville! The house was spotless, beautifully welcoming, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could have needed. Being just steps from the beach made it even more special. Our kids, ranging in age from 3 to 9, were thrilled to find board games and coloring books waiting for them, it was such a thoughtful touch! Larry was an exceptional host, friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful. We can’t recommend this property enough!

Best Beach in Michigan!!!

Luckyville Cottage is a wonderful property! It is a short walk to the most beautiful beach we have visited in Michigan! The house has everything you could need in a private, quiet setting with hiking trails, a beautiful private beach with easy access, fire circle, and new gas grill. It is located near Stony Lake, Silver Lake sand dunes, and close to golf courses and great restaurants. There are lots of things to do from fishing, swimming, hiking, horseback riding, with activities for all ages. The host is most welcoming, and the house is very comfortable with new mattresses, lots of beach supplies, and well stocked cabinets. We highly recommend Luckyville Cottage and hope to return again soon!

Cozy & Relaxing Getaway

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Larry’s Luckyville cottage. The home was clean & stocked with everything you could ever need including many fun water toys in the shed. Our kids loved being able to use the kayak & the tubes!We enjoyed our time spent on the beautiful & expansive beach. We have been coming to Michigan for many summers now and this by far was the largest stretch of private beach (with not many steps) that we have been on. If you are looking for a quiet vacation with a scenic beach this is a great spot. It was a little longer than a 1/4 walk to the beach so we opted to drive since we had lots of water toys and our dogs but we didn’t mind at all. Larry was great and very responsive to work with, he answered all questions in a timely manner & also accommodated us by allowing us to bring our two dogs that come along for our family vacations. Overall, if you’re looking for a small town, cozy place to stay with all of the amenities & a beautiful beach this is the one!
