I bought this property because it is ideal for a family with children.
A stones throw to the ocean is what sealed it for us.
A note I received from one of my summer weekly guests from New York: "Dear Jessica, Just a note of thanks for providing us with such as lovely and clean touwnhouse in which to enjoy our vacation...We leave tomorrow with a bit of sadness to see the week come to an end."A weekend guest from Connecticut who stayed in October said to me in a phone conversation that she "really loved the view of the ocean, loved the location, thought there was something so nice about the watercolors" (painted by a dear friend) and that she "wants to come again for longer."Another summmer guest from California wrote: "She is a great host--she calls to make sureyou're settled or need anything, and always looks for feedback on what shecould improve. I love it there. I can still smell the honeysuckle on thepath to the beach, and see the white picket fences against the backdrop ofthe perfect blue ocean."
There's nothing like waking up and seeing and hearing the ocean from the master bedroom balcony. The beach is just a short walk. It's private and we never had to fight anyone for a spot. "Maushop Village" is the typical quaint Cape Cod hideaway. It feels like you are on your own private, upscale resort. We walked to the shoppes, mini golf course and restaurants for a night of fun, and of course, daytrips are an easy drive. Tony's place is a perfect size. We grilled on the patio every night and LOVED that there's a washer/dryer. From the new pictures on the website, I see he's done some redecorating. Can't wait to see it this summer in person!
