Spacious and Clean 2 Bedroom in Dorchester Neighborhood of Boston

Clean, spacious two bedroom is close to Ashmont Village, UMASS Boston & Downtown Boston. You’ll love the Quiet neighborhood with included off-street parking. A short drive, uber or train ride to downtown. My place is good for couples and families (with kids). Lots of restaurants and bars in the neighborhood.

Great neighborhood. In the city but tree lined streets make it feel more suburban.
Great neighborhood bars and restaurants are a short walk / uber away or you can head downtown.

About a 10 minute (1 mile) walk to Ashmont Train station (Red Line). Bus at bottom of street as well.

Quite neighborhood

The apartment worked well for us, easy enough to get into the city. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. The neighborhood is very quiet, so, we slept well. We did not use the kitchen, except to make coffee in the morning, so, can’t really say much about that. Wi-Fi worked just fine.

Such a great house!

We loved the quaintness and uniqueness of this home. The host had absolutely everything we needed. Communication was perfect. We really enjoyed this stay.

Wonderful property and very responsive hosts! The parking spot was definitely the icing on the cake. Great neighborhood, lovely dining options only a 20 minute walk away. We'd love to stay again.

Comfortable spacious space

The host was wonderful and the layout was very nice and spacious and the public transport was close by and easily accessible.

Quiet place

We really enjoyed staying here. The apartment was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. It's only about 15 min from the airport. We were happy for the coffee provided. The shower head and water pressure in the bathroom was great.

Nice Triplex

The location of this rental was ideal - close to downtown Boston, JFK Library, Franklin Park Zoo, train stop, etc. It is in a lovely neighborhood with good restaurants, parks, grocery store, ice cream shop, and more. And it was wonderful having an off-street parking spot.

Family Time

We used this property for a visit with family in town. It was helpful for meal gatherings and a launching spot for activities around town. Communication with the owner was a snap.

Great Spot

This place was perfect for our family of 4. The location is great. Less than 20 minute drive to downtown Boston or a 15 min walk to the train (note: there some steep hills). Only a few minutes to get on the interstate if you’re traveling. The roads are tight with cars parked on both sides. The off street parking was vital. The unit itself was great for us. The third bed off the tv room was as each of our teen daughters had their own bed. We enjoyed it and would rent again if we travel back to Boston.

Nice house and great hosts

We were very thankful for the window units. Being from Texas we are used to central AC, but the window units in each room kept us completely comfortable. We also were very thankful for the third bed/bedroom. This gave my son a place to be instead of just the living room. The house was great, parking was easy behind the house and the hosts were great at communicating.

Unforgettable

The house is nice and quiet. It is like the photos. All the items in the house are working, easy to get to downtown. And for us it was what we wanted for our stay in Boston. Thanks to the manager for his prompt response to our questions. Ou trip is Unforgettable as we were in our son's graduation.

Wonderful!

My bff and i take a trip each year without our children and husbands and this year was Boston. We chose this condo because our the off-street parking and our proximity to things we wanted to see and it did NOT disappoint! The comdo was comfortable and clean and the extra coffe and snacks were fantastic. My husband wasn't too go to Boston next year and I'm already looking to see if this is available!!

Great stay here

We really enjoyed our stay here - the house was clean and well-stocked, and had everything we needed. The closest subway station was a short drive away. We were able to walk to dinner (although bear in mind there are hills so a certain fitness level is needed). The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The only thing to mention is the listing says there is a hot tub, but it’s referring to the bathtub having jets in it. This may just be a regional difference in terminology - and it was such hot weather a hot tub wouldn’t have been enjoyable lol. We would definitely stay here again.

All was good except it took us a while to figure out that the kitchen had dimmers for the lights. After 2 Days we found the tiny dimmer buttons on the switch which solved the problem. Construction was going on while we stayed there, unfortunately. The kitchen faucet needs to be tightened. The balcony had no seating and in the back full of trash. The rental price was reasonable.

We checked in Sunday. My son developed allergies Monday morning. . The rashes were severe. Had to take him to doctor for prescription medication. Bed bugs are the cause.. we washed all the bedding and towels. Had to checks out 1 day early..

Old world charm

Houses from the turn of the 20th century certainly have a lot more character than they do today and the style in this building does not disappoint. It is showing its age in a few areas, though: the floors creak with every step, you also hear the people upstairs (floor, plumbing, even voices), and there's no central A/C so you're at the mercy of window units. The unit itself was clean and comfortable, but some of the cooking ware and knives could be improved. The area itself was a little mixed, with some parts looking more run-down and others more improved. Streets are a bit crowded so it was nice having parking in back - but it's rather tight so stick with a smaller vehicle. We had one night (a Saturday) where there was a really loud party behind, but it died down by 10pm.

Early morning construction

Tried to communicate with shawn hrs before arrival check in 3pm & 2 hrs after arrival time 5:30 pm to gain accessibility to said property and did not get response. Sitting in our car at property noticed scaffolding all around home. Looked abandoned. Kept calling shawn who finally answered stating he was not aware of construction and gave us access code and once we were inside, the home remained unclean from previuos rentor. He invited us to go have dinner on him so he could get it cleaned. Shawn recommended a restaurant so we went there and our bill was $178. The next morning, at 7am hammering and drilling began for the next two mornings and all the material from construction was hogging up the few spaces we had to park. Asked him to compensate us but he said he had already lost money on our stay with having to comp our expensive meal. My thought is that you should have communicated with HOA about recent upcoming plans for construction dates znd not rent that unit during those dates.
