We had such a wonderful, relaxing weekend here! The cabin had everything we needed, and we loved spending time in the hot tub, walking around the lake, and just enjoying the peaceful setting. Our dog especially loved watching all the squirrels and even got to swim a little, although the water was a bit too cold for us!The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and even left us wine and dog treats, which was such a nice touch. We had a great stay and are definitely adding this to our list of favorite cabins in the PNW. We’d happily come back!

Our experience was extremely positive! Communication was excellent, and he made us feel welcomed! The property was exceptionally clean, and very comfortable! The host even gave us a nice bottle of wine and dog biscuits for our Yana.Great amenities, relaxing atmosphere, close to lake and hiking - I would definitely recommend this place! We really want to go back again!

This was a very comfortable and peaceful cabin! Had all the amenities we needed, loved the hot tub and sauna. Everyone in the community was very friendly, we loved walking to the beach. This was a great place to wind down and just enjoy the day!

Our 6-night stay at “Happy Place” was superb. Beautiful, peaceful area. Cabin is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Hosts have thought of everything to make guests comfortable during their stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tim and Sally’s place. Everything was so comfortable and clean and easily accessible. This was a first time at a VRBO and we are really glad this was our first choice!! I loved sitting outside on the deck and listening to the birds and resident squirrels. Thank you for the communication regarding directions, etc. What a lovely stay…next time we’ll stay longer!!

Me and my 6 year old stayed for our last few days of summer, and it was much better than expected. I was impressed with the host's attention to detail, straight-forward instructions, and welcoming. There were 2 TV's, so my daughter hooked up her Nintendo in the evening. The kitchen was fully stocked with more than expected, and the large rainfall shower was beautiful.My daughter got to go fishing for the first time in regularly stocked Lake Kokanee, 10 minutes away. She played at multiple parks nearby, too!We really enjoyed our time, and both wished we could stay longer! We will be back!

Everything was more than great! If you’re lucky enough to get some snow up there, the sauna and fireplace really elevate the experience along with just the overall coziness of it all. Easy directions and not far from town if you need to go back and grab a few things. Would love to stay again!

I am originally from Michigan, and moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1990. It has been home ever since! I love Hoodsport and everything it has to offer!

I discovered Hoodsport and Lake Cushman on a camping trip in 1995. I knew this is where I wanted to have a relaxing "happy place". The location is great. The people are great. The ammenities are great. Hoodsport does not even have a traffic light!

Nestled at the north end of Lake Cushman, it is a very desireable location. Lake views from the deck. Lake access is a 5 minute walk away. Tall trees, quiet walks - relax in this oasis!
