We stayed at the Crimson Cottage for our daughter's graduation from the University of Alabama. The house was absolutely charming. We were intrigued by the architecture and the host mentioned that it was built about 50 years ago by a Frank Lloyd Wright apprentice. So not only was it charming, but it had some historical significance if you're interested in the history of game-changing architecture. The house was remodeled a couple of years ago, and the kitchen and bathroom were very modern. The rooms were good-sized (there were 5 adults, two married couples and one single kid), and we were all very comfortable. This is truly a hidden gem in Tuscaloosa. We had one slight problem with the locks, but the host took care of it immediately, even though it was almost 10PM at night. They were REALLY great. We wish we had found this place BEFORE our daughter's last weekend in Tuscaloosa! Thank you so much to the host for a great stay.
