The Whitefish Cozy Cabin is a charming long-term rental (30-day minimum) that's the perfect vacation spot year-round. With an unbeatable location, less than a mile to Whitefish City Beach and downtown Whitefish, and only 6 miles to Whitefish Mountain Resort, this property offers a plethora of year-round activities. Nestled amongst the trees along the lake, with peek views of the water, this retreat offers outdoor adventure and relaxation in every season.

The charming two-story private cabin offers 1,784 square feet with two bedrooms and two bathrooms to accommodate up to four guests.

When you enter the home through the walkway from the one-car garage, you step into a mud room where you can shed your gear. To the left, the kitchen and dining room feature soaring cathedral ceilings and large, comfortable spaces to cook and eat in. As you move into the living room, you'll find a charming bar area in the corner and lots of seating to stretch out in front of the TV.

The cozy living room features comfortable, high-end, leather furnishings and Smart TV- with high wood-beam ceilings and warm natural lighting. French doors lead out to the back deck, where you can barbecue and eat meals among the trees. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a gas stove top. The kitchen offers ample cabinets and is fully stocked with all items to prepare delicious meals! The kitchen bar top seats four. The dining table provides seating for four, with a big enough table to host a 1,000-piece puzzle should the occasion arise.

The main level bedroom features a queen-size bed, seating area and private access to outdoor space. Access to the shared full bathroom with a shower. The upstairs bedroom has a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower and a separate jetted tub.

The cabin is perched on a hill above the lake, with views of the water through the trees from the spacious back deck. During your stay. you also may catch site of deer and wild turkey that wander the woods. There are biking and hiking trails nearby, as well as a convenient market, brewery, and restaurants which are less than a half mile away.

In the winter, downhill skiing at Whitefish Mountain Resort provides 3,000+ skiable acres, 14 lifts with terrain for all skill levels and stunning views. The resort was recently ranked #3 in the West by Ski Magazine readers! There are plenty of other winter activities from snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice fishing, hiking, snowshoeing and more. Of course, you'll also want to explore downtown Whitefish eateries and galleries and don't miss Winter Carnival with a parade and skijoring!

In the summer, enjoy all the watersports imaginable at Whitefish Lake, or any of the 100+ lakes & rivers within 100 miles, including Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi in the lower 48! Whitefish Mountain Resort also provides endless activities such as mountain biking, hiking, zip-lining, ropes courses, alpine slides, and scenic chair or gondola rides (with Glacier National Park views). Speaking of Glacier National Park, it's only 45 minutes away from Whitefish! Don't miss the breathtaking Going-To-The-Sun Road, Lake McDonald, and 70+day hikes! You'll also want to take advantage of the Whitefish Trail system with 43 miles of hiking & biking trails, as well as great restaurants, art galleries, breweries, distilleries, a train museum, golf courses and local events such as Huckleberry Days, farmer's markets, rodeos and Under the Big Sky music festival!

Getting around Whitefish and to Whitefish Mountain Resort is a breeze with the FREE snow bus! The snow bus is a free shuttle service during peak winter and summer seasons. There are stops all around town and on the mountain. Whitefish also has Uber, Lyft and Taxis.

Mid-stay cleanings are required for all reservations longer than 36 days. The first mid-stay clean is automatically included when you make your reservation. If your reservation requires more than one mid-stay clean, our Guest Service Team will reach out to collect the additional fees. Stay Montana will coordinate a day and time for these mid-stay cleans to occur to keep the loft clean and fresh for the duration of your stay.
