This the massage I sent the owner

Good morning Myra!

This is Debbie Thurmond,

Just got home last night tired and exhausted! What was supposed to be a few days of relaxation was anything but! Showing up Saturday and the room already occupied was very upsetting! Calling you in informing you of the situation we decided to go sit and have dinner and wait for your call which didn't ! I had to call you ended up next-door at the summit which was fine other than didntunpack! speaking with you can you informing me that I needed to be out of the by 10 cause me more anxiety getting up the next morning calling you with no response I'm just deciding to stay until we were forced to leave, someone knock on the door telling us that the room at the top of the gulf was ready and we could go ahead and occupy it so we did! Once we are settled in a grandson and I decided along with my boyfriend to go to the pool and we decided to leave out the sliding glass door thinking we could just walk back in. But that wasn't the case no one informed me or have I ever known that assigned last store would automatically lock itself! I had earlier locked the deadbolt and now we are locked out spending about an hour and a half to two hours finding in locating someone to help me the door master key would not work on the deadbolt and the gentleman in for me that he was going to drill out the lock on the sliding glass door! So there again adding to my stress! The next morning we are going to take a trip to pier Park and I wake up to a flat tire that had to be replaced picking up a nail long the way from all the construction! One on the positive side the property in the room and staff were really nice!

I feel that compensation for the first night should been return!

And return my deposit!

I have now requested by the deposit back three time with no compensation which left me know other choice but to go through my credit card company and file a dispute ! It's two weeks later since exiting the premises , the only excuse was she needs for the cleaning crew to give her an assessment?there was no assessment to be had left the condo in the condition in which we found it clean and sound !

Owner's Response: Debbie: The other rental was confused about the checkout date. I gave you that night at a larger condo at a much larger complex with more amenities for the night. My cleaning company went by to clean the condo but thought maybe the lady was right. As I told you, I was very sick and had just got back from MD Anderson Cancer Hospital after 2 1/2 months. Also, I refunded you an extra $100. If you check with most hotels, etc. you get your money back within 30 days. I did all I could to please you. You do not have to worry, the refund and extra $100 should have been refunded around fifth of the month. I gave vrbo the authority to remove the funds from my account. Seems strange that I have owned condos since the late 80's and this is the only COMPLAINT I have ever had. Myra Floyd

Awesome Condo

My husband and I just spent a week in this lovely condo. It has recently been refurbished and newly decorated. Location on the first floor was very convenient, no stairs and no elevator. Very quite even though the pool was right outside the patio entrance. Beach chairs were provided with the rental. Would definitely stay again! Thanks to the owner! Appreciate your kindness!

Wonderful wonderful wonderful. 14th anniversary trip and couldn't have asked for a better condo to stay in..beautifully decorated,wonderful location!!!! Owner is awesome with communication definitely staying in this one again.

Amazing Condo!

Thank you so much for allowing my daughter and myself stay in your beautiful condo! We had a fantastic time! I am unsure which was the best part the condo itself or being able to walk to the pool from the room. We will definitely be making this our yearly place to go.

Wonderful Time in Florida

The condo is in great condition. I think it was remodeled recently. It had easy access to the pool and beach and is very close to many restaurants and attractions.

We had a great stay in Panama City!!!

Beautiful condo

We stayed at Top of the gulf before in another unit but this unit is the best. No elevators to take, no stairs to climb. It is beautifully redecorated! This is a great place to stay for your money. Wal-Mart is so close which is great for us.
