This room was perfect for our short stay in San Francisco! The hotel location was close to breakfast, lunch and dinner. All our things we wanted to do were within walking distance. The streets are truly blue zones but that’s what makes this city so special! The room was spacious and clean. Our sink was stopping up and by the time we returned from our days adventures, it was fixed. All staff were delightful! Happy hour was a nice treat and we loved playing the records while getting ready! We’d definitely stay here again!

I was extremely pleased with my 5-night stay at the Kimpton Alton Hotel in the Fisherman’s Wharf area! The hotel staff was AMAZING & extremely prompt & attentive to all requests!! They remembered me and knew me by name, which made me feel like a valued customer! My room was outstanding and extremely comfortable. In addition to a pull-down window screen which let in light, there was also a blackout blind, which truly kept out the early morning San Francisco sunrise, allowing me to sleep in a bit on my vacation and also take a quick afternoon nap. Pier 39 was within walking distance, along with many other little coffee shops, a Walgreens, and small food stores. There was a very small fridge in the room that could hold leftovers and a few drinks. Also, two waters were provided each day. In the room, there was a large regular size hairdryer and a full-size clothing steamer which I loved! In addition, there’s an in-room safe. You’ll find a small bodega onsite where you can purchase little boxes of cereal, individual ice cream, trail mix, small bottles of wine, and a couple of other snacks from if you are in a pinch. I was absolutely delighted with everything about my Stay! I always use VRBO to book my lodging when I’m going to a new place to visit!
