Cozy 3-bdrm mtn "CABIN IN THE CANYON" 8 acre w/WiFi, AC between WFish and CFalls

Nestled in the mountains of Columbia Falls, this delightful log home on 8 acres offers 3 bedrooms with 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds which convert to king if needed.

The second queen bed is located in the charming guest cabin only a short distance from the main cabin. Guests can enjoy the soothing ambiance of the cozy log interior, complete with WiFi, a washing machine and dryer, A/C and heating. The 3 bathrooms are equipped with a hair dryer and wall-tiled showers and glass doors.

The spacious kitchen has recently been remodeled with updated appliances, a double-sized copper sink and granite counter tops. The cookware, dishes, etc are complementary to this upscale kitchen.

Enjoy the mountain trails behind the property and/or in the park. Huckleberries can be picked on the property in July, The "Under the Big Sky" event July 17-19 is just minutes from the property. Glacier National Park is approx. 20 minutes and Whitefish Lake is about 15 minutes. Hungary Horse Dam is also nearby. Fine dining is waiting for you in Whitefish, together with their many unique shops.

The property was clean and even better than described. It is a beautiful home and our family really enjoyed our time there. The hosts are very accommodating and quick to respond. We will be staying here again for sure!!

Stay here and visit Glacier National Park!

A great, secluded cabin about 30 minutes from the West entrance of Glacier National Park! A great kitchen and fantastic bathrooms!

It has always been my goal and intent to leave a property somehow cleaner than it was on arrival. Not possible this time. I’ve just never figured out how to improve upon perfection! The only problem we had was that the property was so comforting and so beautiful that people didn’t want to leave it in order to visit the park—our reason for renting it in the first place! As our week was drawing to an end, talk turn to a discussion of “squatters’ rights.” If we refused to leave, could we stay forever?Thank you for making this past week so much more memorable than we had any right to expect. May God bless you and all who have the privilege of visiting this extraordinary property in the future.

Paradise in Montana

We had one of our favorite vacations ever staying in the cabin. We enjoyed the beautiful yard and the relaxing cabin. The proximity to Glacier and Whitefish Lake offers amazing opportunities. We hope to return again in the near future.

Beautiful cabin

Beautiful and homey cabin near Glacier National Park. The main cabin has 2 bedrooms a nice size living room and dining room. The kitchen has everything you need to make a meal. The guest cabin is near the main cabin and also has a kitchen and full bathroom.Overall this is a nice cabin for the whole family.

Peaceful cabin in the woods

Our group of 5 adult family members had a lovely visit to glacier using this as home base. The little guest cabin and the main cabin accommodated us all with plenty of space and privacy. The kitchen was large and well appointed for much cooking and gathering. Wrap around covered porch and grounds were so peaceful. Bedding was very nice!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the mountain cabin. It’s very secluded, quiet and peaceful. It is well decorated and fully equipped, including the kitchen, for everything one needs. Check in was very easy, a door code. The host was readily available. We had deer greet us every morning as we had coffee on the very large outside seating area. I would love to come back for another stay sometime

We loved most everything about it. The only thing was the temperature. At night the house was too warm, like 78 degrees with the air running. That is not a good sleeping temperature. Even with the bedroom window open, it would not cool down. The floor was very warm in the 1st floor bedroom. Is the floor heated? I had to go into the living room and sleep on the sofa under the fan to be able to sleep. Our son slept in the cottage, he thinks there should be a curtain on the door window for more privacy, but he really like it.My husband thinks a new large frying pan would be helpful. Everything sticks to the one that is there.But over all our stay was great. We loved the location and the privacy. The house is beautiful, clean and well kept.

Thank you Cindy for your response. Do you remember what temp the AC was set at? I am wondering if a previous guest set it at 78 and that's why it stayed at 78. If it was set at 72 for example and then stayed at 78 that is then a different issue. Any info you can give us on this would be helpful. Thanks. We enjoy providing a "home away from home" to our guests in a location where you can truly enjoy nature and scenery at its finest and also enjoy the peaceful feel of a log cabin together with a gourmet kitchen.

There is a special feel about being in the mountain. Even the dirt road for the last two miles of the drive winding its way into the mountain to the cabin is a part of the adventure!

この宿泊施設の特徴

The property is very uniquely located with beautiful Whitefish Lake and the town of Whitefish with all of its unique shops and fine eating places 15 minutes to the west, Canada to the north about 1 hour plus, Kalispell and the airport to the south about 20 minutes and Columbia Falls to the east about 15 minutes and minutes more to the east is Glacier National Park with the must drive of taking the "Going to the Sun Road".

Hungary Horse Dam, one of the nations most significant dams, and yet not nationally advertised is shortly before Glacier National Park. It is quite the wonder to see!
