This upper portion also serves as a gateway to the 15 spectacular boat-in campgrounds provided by the Forest Service and the National Park Service, as well as to the picturesque community of Stehekin at the head of the lake. Sailing on Lake Chelan is also an incredibly popular summer activity, and there are opportunities to rent sailboats of all sizes and types on Lake Chelan.

About Lisa Kragerud

Welcome to our wonderful vacation home where you are sure to make many wonderful memories, as we have. My husband and I both grew up in the Northwest and have three wonderful children, two who are married. I am a teacher and my husband owns a flooring store. We hope you have a fabulous vacation and will plan to come back every year.

Lisa Kragerud purchased this house in 2000

Why Lisa Kragerud chose Wapato Point

This is a great house for 3-4 families to split the cost of. Because there are 4 master suites with their own bathrooms, everyone has the privacy they need to enjoy their vacation, and the huge bunk room gives a place for the kids to hang out seperately from the adults. We are just steps from the lake, the main activities and a pool, but not so close that it's noisy or dangerous for young children. Bring your extended family or a yearly group.

What makes this house unique

Beautiful Pine Trees make for shade in the backyard- unique and wonderful when the temperatures get too high.

Fooseball table in the kids room make for a really fun time.

Large Hot Tub!

Great Summer Week with Family

  • 5 of 5

We had a great mid-late July week with fantastic weather. The house and grounds provided us good clean facilities. The bunk room was a hit with our five grandkids from ages 2-7. The back deck and backyard are shaded and provided plenty of room for kids activities and adult down time. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The washer and dryer were greatly appreciated.

We all loved your house Lisa. It was a perfect house for our family weekend together. A good time was had by all. We could each have used another set of towels during our 3 day stay, but we managed. We will definitely come back to your lovely home.

Needed beach towels. Concerned about air conditioning. It didn’t cool well even in the 80’s. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of games for adults and kids.
