So much natural beauty!

Our family loves vacationing at this place in Pittsburg. Lake Francis is beautiful and the house is very accommodating. James, the owner is very easy to work with. Mt. Magalloway, and Garfield Falls are nearby places we enjoy.

Perfect for Our Retreat

We used this property to host our small team of 6. This property was perfect for us. We spent two nights, everyone had their own space and there were two rooms that were great for gathering. The deck overlooking Lake Francis was our favorite place! The owner was communicative and helpful and we ran into 0 issues with the property. Thanks for a great stay!

Is amazing stay for a huge family

It was relaxing even though you're beside the road. It was quiet the bird feeders. The wind chimes off the deck and the view of the lake is unbelievable. It is quite a ways away from the lake.

Amazing getaway home

My 2 adult sons, brother and I stayed at this beautiful property over the Columbus Day Holiday. We had a spectacular time. The house was situated on gorgeous Lake Francis with breathtaking view's. The home is beautifully decorated with everything you may need. We will absolutely be back. The owners were fantastic to work with, answering any questions that we had. 5 stars across the board

4th of July stay

Communication with owner was great and the home was very clean. Pictures don’t show that it’s directly on the road and that the yard was shared with another cabin. Not a huge deal and wouldn’t have changed my mind on renting, just would been nice to know. I would definitely recommend to family and friends and I would stay there again myself.

The property was beautiful with gorgeous views from the back deck. Communication with the owner was very easy and he was very responsive to all my questions. The only issue that I could say would be the road that passes by the house is busy. But that is not the owners fault. We definitely hope to stay here again!

Excellent Family Vacation on Lake Francis

We had an amazing family vacation on Lake Francis staying at this property. The calm, quiet, and serine lakeside setting was just what we needed after a year of COVID-19 restrictions and sparse family time. This house is ideal for large families and those with pets. The sprawling lawn and lake made our dog Baxter quite happy. We enjoyed exploring the area with daily hikes and walks around the shoreline. We highly recommend this property to those who want to be immersed in the New Hampshire wilderness and spend their days reading on the deck or down by the water. We look forward to staying here again!

The hosts were very nice. Unfortunately the cleaners did not do a good job, the bathrooms were clean and the house was swept but the floors were dirty and kitchen were not in good shape. The house has a lot of throw rugs which were very dirty and the extra family room had not been cleaned Several of the windows did not have screens or the screens were torn so we couldn't open the windows. The beds in the bunk room were very uncomfortable. They do like to feed the birds but when we arrived there was french fries, part of a burger and bird seed all over the deck. It does have a great view but in general, the house needs some maintenance and furniture needs to be replaced.
We swept everyday but bird feeders are too close to the deck.

We were very excited to see what we had rented. This was our first time in VRBO. The pictures did it justice. The weather was not what we were hoping for. The house was. It was well stocked with what we needed down to the dishwasher which was very much appreciated. Our complaints are that the beds were so uncomfortable. The mattresses were too soft. And there was no tissues in the house we had to use toilet paper. Other then that it was awesome and exactly what we needed. The view of the water was wonderful, the games we played from your game selection was great. The location was great. Thank you for sharing your home with us and we hope to do it again. We stayed with this host for a long weekend, at the end of our stay unfortunately we found mouse droppings and trash(from the mice) in the beds. This is something you wouldn't find unless you were stripping the beds. The same was found in the couch under cushions. The main part of the house was decent but the "extra space" was less than ideal. The beds were squeaky, not level and not in great condition. Reached out to the owner about uncleanliness with no response. Reached out to VRBO and they will try to get owner to contact us. Left our contact info on table with complaint and also sent message through the app, no response. Housekeeping is not taken seriously here.
