LOOK AT THE AMAZING VIEW! Enjoy this tropical paradise that is direct oceanfront! You can lay in bed and see and hear the ocean. This unit is newly renovated and OWNER OPERATED. Located at the Sand Dunes Resort on Myrtle Beach's Golden Mile (74th Avenue North), Unit 232 on the second floor will become your new-found paradise. Have coffee or drinks on the balcony overlooking the beach, ocean and patio; relax in bed while listening to the waves; or sit at the table to eat or watch the action on the beach. Enjoy the luxury of new furniture, tiling, an upgraded 51' flat screen TV, new beds, and high-end linens.

In the kitchen area, there is a 2 burner ceramic cooktop, microwave, full size refrigerator/freezer, and all the pots, pans, dinnerware and glassware you need. There is a toaster, blender (for those frosty drinks), ice bucket and Keurig coffee maker.

Head to the beach with the beach chairs and umbrella provided to you at no extra cost (or rent chairs and umbrellas if you prefer).

All you should need is your food and your clothes! Many extras are provided with the condo! We provide bed linens and comforters, towels (bath and kitchen towels), iron and ironing board, a get-started supply of dish soap, garbage bags, paper towels, bath tissue - even shampoo, conditioner and soap!

There are tons of restaurants, bars nearby, as well as grocery stores (and the liquor store) close by. Nearly outside the door is River City Cafe, home to some of the best burgers in MB (one of our favorites!). Next door at Long Bay is a Starbucks and a fabulous place for dinner, Martin’s.

Outside of the resort lies a thousand things to do - many restaurants, miniature golf, boating, fishing from a nearby pier, golfing at gajillions of golf courses, shopping (yes, there are outlet malls very close!), and looking for shells and shark teeth (my son's favorite thing to do!). Most everything is a less than 15 minute walk or drive and US 17 is only 2 blocks away. The airport is less than 10 miles away too!

So come enjoy a piece of heaven. Wake up to amazing sunrises and go to sleep with the sounds of the ocean.

Our unit is NOT on the Sand Dunes rental program, which means the Sand Dunes Water Park IS EXCLUDED for our guests; however, there are several other pools onsite (outdoor pool, indoor pool, lazy river, spas, etc.) that are available for guest use. And hey, you're at the beach! If you want a REAL water park, there is the best in Myrtle Beach a couple of miles away! Your rental includes only the amenities paid for by the Homeowners Association.

Daily maid service is NOT provided.

You must be at least 25 years old to rent this unit. Proof of Age required.

No Pets Allowed

No Smoking Allowed in the unit or on the balcony - The $200 deposit will be retained if smoking in the unit or balcony occurs.

No motorcycles or trailers allowed on property.

Why Angie Gowan chose Myrtle Beach

My husband and I have been coming to Myrtle Beach together ever since we were dating (we'll be married 20 years this year!). We visited the Sand Dunes every year and loved the fabulous location, the activities, the restaurants, the beach - everything! We bought our first unit in 2005 and renovated that unit (on the 10th floor) in 2012. We loved it so much that we knew we wanted to buy another one on a lower floor. When we walked into Unit 232 and saw the view, we knew this was our new 'home.' With a lot of love, we renovated and added all the touches to make it a tropical oasis that has all the comforts of home. Look at the pictures of the sunrises and sunsets and you'll see why it's just perfect!

What makes this condo unique

We love the Sand Dunes because of the amenities the resort has, the location of the condo (central to everything, but in a family location), and the activities. You have so many restaurants, stores and activities right within a mile or two. In many cases, you don't have to leave the resort! We also love the fact that we are halfay between Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing! it's great to have these two entertainment complexes so near. And finally, it's a gift to wake up in the morning, take a cup of coffee out to the balcony, and watch the dolphins swim -- or walk along the beach and find the perfect shell - or enjoy a glass of wine sitting on the balcony or beach and listening to the waves.

Perfect getaway location!

The condo is exactly like the pictures..super cute and clean! It is so convenient to the beach and amenities on the premises. The condo had everything you will need to make yourself at home. Alot of thought went into making it comfortable. We appreciated the use of the beach umbrella. We will definitely be back to this unit. Loved having coffee on the balcony in the mornings and enjoyed our evenings listening to the ocean.

Comfy and renovated

Finding the location was a breeze, the actual unit has been renovated quite well and while the view is great there's a condenser unit almost directly under the unit so while you can enjoy the beautiful view the noise coming from the condenser unit was extremely loud. SO loud that you couldn't hear the waves on the ocean or hear yourself think on the patio. I did advise the owner who responded quickly. Lastly considering what I had to pay for the weekend and the cleaning fee it was unfortunate that we had to waste the morning pre cleaning the room for the cleaning person we had already paid for, washing dishes and taking the trash down the hall. When you walk in you're greeted by a list of exit preparation instructions from the owner which we made sure to follow but with a pricey cleaning fee add on I felt I shouldn't have had to walk the trash bag down the hall, wash the dishes, unmake the beds (even though we brought our own sheets) We had to leave early to get home so we would've much rather been enjoying the beach instead of doing chores before we left. Next time I will be more careful to read the owners notes before deciding to book

Owner's Response: Jim and I take great care and pride in providing awesome experiences for our guests as evidenced by the many 5 star reviews for this condo and our other condos. We can only apologize and try to take care of it quickly when something goes wrong (and it's a reality just like with your own house that sometimes things happen). We appreciate you bringing the issue about the condenser to our attention. The hotel was able to repair their condenser right after it was highlighted as an issue. Regarding the cleaning, you saw our listing, you accepted our agreement not once but twice. It highlights all the great amenities the condo comes with (like beach chairs, umbrellas, coffee, creamers, sugars, shampoo, soap, linens, etc.), as well as the exit procedures. So you should be very clear as to what was required. I don't think asking you to strip the beds at the end of your stay, wash your dishes or remove the trash is that big of an issue, but I can see that it is for you. The check-out procedures are located on the inside of the door so guests see it before checking out and can use it as a check-list. It's not a list you are "greeted" with upon arrival. I can recommend actually reading the booking agreement if these are not things you want to do. As for it taking you time you wanted to be at the beach, not sure what to say. You had to strip your sheets off anyway, you could have taken the trash out on the way out as it's on the way, so I can only say I'm sorry that it took so long to do the dishes you used.

Very nice place with a great location!

We enjoyed our stay in Myrtle Beach. The location was perfect, easy beach access. The owners were very easy to contact and made sure we made it to our room with no problems. Highly recommend!

Clean and Great View

The room was clean and well kept. Great ocean view. The air conditioner is located below your balcony so didn't get to enjoy the noise of the ocean much. The owners were very great to work with. They are quick to respond and very thorough. The building is a hotel that has some of the rooms privately owned such as this room. The atmosphere is condo/hotel. Very busy area. Shops, entertainment and food are located within a 5-15 minute drive. Thank you for sharing your property!

I will be checking that out with the hotel management as in the past several years we've been renting it, we've not had any issues with the AC unit that's outside (not for our unit - this is for the hotel first floor space).

Wonderful Weekend Getaway!

This was the perfect place to rest, refresh and renew. The owners really thought of everything needed for a home away from home feel at the beach! We really appreciated the excellent condition of all of the amenities (best of anywhere that we've ever rented - especially the beach chairs). The ocean view was beautiful at all times of day and night - even during a storm!

For June, July, and August, reservations for less than 3 nights are only accepted as fill-in's between other reservations.

Cancellation policy is 60 days. All rental fees paid to owner (not VRBO/Homeaway) prior to 60 days will be refunded if cancelled within 60 days with the exception of $15 for those who paid via credit card to cover processing fees.
