Frogtown Cottage is a quaint and comfortable cottage located in Historic Downtown Savannah. This is a great vacation rental for families and couples wanting to explore Savannah, while still enjoying all the comforts of home. Guests will enjoy the all-new pool and patio! The pool is 13ft x 24ft and varies from 3 to 6.5 feet deep and also offers optional pool heat year-round.

Frogtown Cottage is located close to the Georgia State Railroad Museum, Savannah History Museum, Savannah Children's Museum, Battlefield Memorial Park, the Savannah Visitors Center, and the SCAD Museum of Art. This home is also an excellent option for families visiting SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) as it is very close to Barnard Village, Boundary Hall, Turner House, Eichberg Hall, and The Hive/Dyson House. The home was originally built in 1860 and was used as a home for workers at the nearby Roundhouse for the Georgia Railroad. In fact, there are 2 other worker homes owned by the Coastal Heritage Society next door. Stroll right around the corner to enjoy access to great historic attractions. From the back porch, you can still see the smokestack rising over the area.

The interior of the home offers a living area with a gas fireplace and a flat-screen TV. To the right of the living room, you will find a Queen bedroom that attaches to a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. This bath also opens onto the eat-in kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher and stackable washer and dryer. To the left of the living area, there are 2 additional guest bedrooms and an additional full Jack n Jill bath with a walk-in shower. The bedrooms are furnished with a twin bed & a queen bed in one (that opens out to the back porch), and a Queen Bed in the second. Both of these bedrooms have flat-screen TVs. You will also find access to the back porch and fully fenced yard with a private pool from the kitchen. The back deck offers a charcoal grill and table seating for 7.

Frogtown Cottage offers easy access to all of Historic Savannah. Just 2.5 blocks from the cottage, located in front of the Savannah Visitors Center, is a stop for the Fare-Free DOT Express Shuttle. The shuttle serves 11 stops throughout the Historic District and runs every 20 minutes from 11 am - 9 pm 7 days a week. Also, just across the street from the Visitor's Center, on the corner of Liberty and MLK, is Old Savannah Tours which offers an On-Off Tour of the Historic District, we highly recommend. Located 20 minutes away on beautiful Tybee Island.

Guests will also be located only a short 20-25 minute drive to Tybee Island, Savannah's beach. Come out for a day trip to enjoy the beach, fishing, visiting Ft. Pulaski, or climbing Georgia's oldest and tallest lighthouse.

Frogtown Cottage offers an outdoor shower (cold only) perfect for rinsing off before swimming. Wireless Internet/WIFI is available for guest use. Designated off-street parking available. This rental is pet-friendly for one (1) adult dog, with an additional fee. Two (2) Twin rollaway beds are included at home. Guests can add optional pool heat for an additional cost of $25 per day.

PETS: This home is pet-friendly for up to two (2) adult dogs with approval. Cats are not allowed in any TVR property. Please Note: Tybee City ordinance does not allow dogs on any Tybee Island beaches.

EXTENDED STAY RENTALS (26+ NIGHTS): All stays require a refundable security deposit to be paid, the amount is included in your online quote. A monthly electrical allowance is assigned according to the bedroom size of the property and has been chosen as this amount should not be exceeded with reasonable usage at the property.
