Overview

About the property

Private Ground Level 1+1 1/2 Baths; Wall Bed; Bunk Beds; Tetons; Pool/Tennis/Gym

Incredible views and frequent wildlife sightings from this quiet remodeled condo. Enjoy this private condo with full access to Teton Sports Club at no extra charge: year-round gym, hot tubs, sauna, climbing well; pool and tennis seasonally. Great walking and biking here at the Aspens; walk to the gourmet market, coffee shop, gym or five lovely restaurants. Free use of two new cruiser bicycles ($40/day/each value!) spring, summer and fall! Please see the 'Guestbook comments from the owner' below (click lower right on 'continue reading') for hand written guestbook entries.

Spring and summer sit on the deck and enjoy the afternoon sun looking at the mountains and the open space right out the back. This part of the Aspens has no busy roads. Conveniently located to all the activities this great area provides.

When winter is here. This condo is just a short walk to the public bus and the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is only 4 miles north on the edge of Grand Teton National Park, and can be seen from the condo! Return after a day of skiing the world famous resort; sit on the patio and watch the last tram ascend the mountain! Soak your sore muscles in one of the Teton Sports Club hot spas, and choose from several restaurants nearby.

The recent remodel opened up the condo living area, turning the kitchen into a wonderful space with an island and a breakfast bar. New appliances and granite tile counter tops. Plus the addition of a half bath and a queen Murphy wall bed. New birch hard wood floors and cove heating. The main bath now has a double vanity, walk-in tile shower and

in-floor radiant heat. Also a new front load washer and dryer.

The Aspens is a beautiful location in the Jackson Hole valley. Convenient to everything on the west bank of the Snake River, ski resort and southern entrance to Grand Teton National Park, with Yellowstone an hour north. Enjoy privacy, views and wildlife right out your patio door.

This first floor Berry Patch home will be perfect for a couple or family for a week or a month. There is a King bedroom and we have added a comfortable queen wall bed (not the lumpy old fold-out couch), a 1/2 bath off the open living room and an office alcove for working on the internet while viewing the mountains beyond. There are also built-in bunks for the kids or grandkids. The unit has new appliances and flooring, an open kitchen, refurbished bath with an oversized walk-in tiled shower with seat, fireplace and walk out back patio with gas BBQ. The kids can play right off the patio while you BBQ on a hot summer day, or build a snowman in the Winter with a roaring fire inside.

Our properties feel like a home away from home. We fully stock with the essentials for a great vacation as well as many extras that are our signature. The kitchen will be well-equipped with a pantry full of staples and spices. Other extras include a huge selection of local guide books, novels, CD's, DVD's, VHS, Xbox and games. Of course there is high speed WiFi as well as toys and a children's library, board games, poker chips and more. We have a long list of additional items that can be borrowed to make your vacation fun for all: portable crib, high chair, booster, baby bath, bouncer; bicycles, stroller/trailer, water toys, hiking sticks, coolers, picnic supplies, lawn games. In Winter we can provide X-country skiis and poles, snow sleds and snow shoes....just let us know ahead of time!

You have access to the Teton Sports Club, located in The Aspens, with a gym, tennis courts, pool, sauna and spas at no additional charge. Pets are considered for well-behaved pet parents.

The Aspens is a beautifully treed, flat west bank development with wide meandering roads, streams, bridges, wildlife, common areas and even a playground. This desirable location in the Jackson Hole valley is midway between Teton Village and the quaint enclave of Wilson, yet less than 10 miles to the busyness of the Town of Jackson. This unit is on the quiet, western edge, overlooking a creek, historic cattle ranch and the mountains beyond. The small commercial area has a specialty market & liquor, coffee house, several restaurants, golf and a wonderful bike path system which is even plowed in Winter to facilitate year-round hiking, biking and jogging! Outdoor activities here are nearly unlimited any time of year!

About Dan

I have four short term rental properties, three in Jackson Hole, one in Lake Tahoe. After years of traveling with young children and all their 'stuff' in 3 large suitcases, I became determined to make vacationing less stressful. We try to provide the extras to make it feel like a home, whether old or young.

I was born in Los Angeles, grew up in Palos Verdes and attended undergraduate and Dental School at UCLA. After living in Marin County, I discovered beautiful Jackson Hole. We live here year round just a few miles away from The Aspens with horses, ducks our new favorite a Talouse Goose!, chickens, dogs and even a miniature mule! Please just ask if the kids would like to visit our 'farm'. We pride ourselves in being available to attend to any problem as quickly as possible.

Perfect ski condo

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at this condo! It was perfect and the views out the back are amazing! It feels like a private cottage, even though you are in the middle of a condo complex. We took wonderful walks through the village with our pups, and although it may seem silly - our favorite part was how many dog garbages there were throughout the village, it seemed like a very dog friendly place. It was clean and and cute and I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others. Dan was very responsive if we needed, although there wasn't much to need as they supplied it all!

Absolutely AMAZING!!!!

  • 5 of 5

5 stars are just not enough for Moose Hideaway!!! This place far exceeded our expectations. The condo was fully stocked from paper products, to books, to movies, to spices in the kitchen. Everything that I forgot to pack was at Moose Hideaway. The view from the back patio was amazing. To wake up to a mountain view and wildlife right in your backyard was amazing. We were lucky enough to have a herd of elk bed down for an evening just beyond the beautiful creek that flows within feet of the patio. The place was very comfortable and so incredibly quiet. After a day of hiking it was so relaxing to come back to this place. The best part is that we were able to bring our 4 legged furry friend and he just LOVED watching all the wildlife out the back yard as well!! It is a short drive to Moose Junction, the gateway to Teton Park. It is a must to drive Gros Ventre Road looking for moose, elk, buffalo, etc. We discovered this on our last day and seen more on this short 1/2 hour scenic drive than the whole week previous!! Yellowstone is about a 1 1/2 hour drive. Very beautiful as well. As for places to eat, our favorite was Calico which is right on Moose Wilson Road about 5 miles from the condo. Excellent food. The Q brewhouse next door is delicious as well. We did happy hour at Snake River Brewery a couple blocks from the Square and that was great too!! The big grocery store, Albertson's, on the south end of Hwy 191 has an unbelievable soup and salad bar that we would stop at every day for lunch. I could go on and on about our trip to Jackson Hole and the excellent accommodations at Moose Hideway! Thank you Dan and Deb for opening your beautiful place to us. A memorable vacation for us!! We will definitely be back.

A little gem!

  • 5 of 5

This condo is a little gem located in the Aspens with an outstanding view of the Tetons. We stayed here in late October with our three children, ages 12, 10 and 6. We enjoyed the amazing view with wildlife just outside the back door! They owners have gone above and beyond to make sure this condo has everything you could possibly need during your stay, including binoculars in case you see wildlife in the distance. Our kids enjoyed playing the xbox and choosing from a variety of movies to watch. This condo is only one bedroom, but accommodated our family of 5 and our dog, just fine! We appreciated the 1/2 bath that looked to be added on later. The main bathroom has been updated and has a fantastic shower head! We ate most of our meals in and the kitchen was well equipped. The plastic wrap, sandwich baggies, non-stick spray, chilled mugs and a variety of pots and pans were all very helpful! Dan and Debbie really didn't miss anything, they provided extra leashes for your dog, plastic bags to pick up their waste, reusable grocery bags if you plan to go to the grocery store, games, plenty of extra towels and toiletries. During our stay, we had a couple of questions and Dan was very quick to respond via text. We had a nice and relaxing weekend in Jackson. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for sharing your great condo with us!

Excellent updated condo with great wildlife viewing!

  • 5 of 5

We thought your condo was great! We had the best time! Everything we needed was there. More than I expected! The updates to the condo were very nice and we loved the Moose Hideaway theme. We haven't had a fireplace in years so that was awesome. We appreciated the wifi. It was perfect for our needs but most of all it was so great to bring our dogs. There is a neighborhood cow moose we saw by the aspen maintenance bldg every day. 3 small deer frequented the backyard each morning and evening. Even came right up to the patio one day. The last night another cow moose and calf walked into the back yard as well. I just can't say enough nice things about what a great time we had despite the snow last week. We didn't let it stop us and just rolled with it. We saw more moose last week than in our last 2 trips combined. We did not want to leave and are seriously considering retiring to that area now that we have been there a few times. My husband wanted to stay an extra night but I told him the condo was already booked so we had to leave. Love your place. It is very nice! Would definitely stay there again and again and recommend it to my friends. I shared so many pics on FB all my friends & coworkers want to go so I will tell them to look at your condo! Thanks so much! Great memories were made!
