About the property

Private Ground Level 1+1 1/2 Baths; Wall Bed; Bunk Beds; Tetons; Pool/Tennis/Gym

Incredible views and frequent wildlife sightings from this quiet remodeled condo. In the popular Snowberry building. Enjoy this private condo with full access to Teton Sports Club at no extra charge: year-round gym, hot tubs, sauna, climbing well; pool and tennis seasonally. Great walking and biking here at the Aspens; walk to the gourmet market, coffee shop, gym or five lovely restaurants. Free use of two new cruiser bicycles ($40/day/each value!) spring, summer and fall! Please see the 'Guestbook comments from the owner' below (click lower right on 'continue reading') for hand written guestbook entries.

Spring and summer sit on the deck and enjoy the afternoon sun looking at the mountains and the open space right out the back. This part of the Aspens has no busy roads. Conveniently located to all the activities this great area provides.

When winter is here. This condo is just a short walk to the public bus and the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is only 4 miles north on the edge of Grand Teton National Park, and can be seen from the condo! Return after a day of skiing the world famous resort; sit on the patio and watch the last tram ascend the mountain! Soak your sore muscles in one of the Teton Sports Club hot spas, and choose from several restaurants nearby.

The recent remodel opened up the condo living area, turning the kitchen into a wonderful space with an island and a breakfast bar. New appliances and granite tile counter tops. Plus the addition of a half bath and a queen Murphy wall bed. New birch hard wood floors and cove heating. The main bath now has a double vanity, walk-in tile shower and

in-floor radiant heat. Also a new front load washer and dryer.

The Aspens is a beautiful location in the Jackson Hole valley. Convenient to everything on the west bank of the Snake River, ski resort and southern entrance to Grand Teton National Park, with Yellowstone an hour north. Enjoy privacy, views and wildlife right out your patio door.

This first floor Berry Patch home will be perfect for a couple or family for a week or a month. There is a King bedroom and we have added a comfortable queen wall bed (not the lumpy old fold-out couch), a 1/2 bath off the open living room and an office alcove for working on the internet while viewing the mountains beyond. There are also built-in bunks for the kids or grandkids. The unit has new appliances and flooring, an open kitchen, refurbished bath with an oversized walk-in tiled shower with seat, fireplace and walk out back patio with gas BBQ. The kids can play right off the patio while you BBQ on a hot summer day, or build a snowman in the Winter with a roaring fire inside.

Our properties feel like a home away from home. We fully stock with the essentials for a great vacation as well as many extras that are our signature. The kitchen will be well-equipped with a pantry full of staples and spices. Other extras include a huge selection of local guide books, novels, CD's, DVD's, VHS, Xbox and games. Of course there is high speed WiFi as well as toys and a children's library, board games, poker chips and more. We have a long list of additional items that can be borrowed to make your vacation fun for all: portable crib, high chair, booster, baby bath, bouncer; bicycles, stroller/trailer, water toys, hiking sticks, coolers, picnic supplies, lawn games. In Winter we can provide X-country skiis and poles, snow sleds and snow shoes....just let us know ahead of time!

You have access to the Teton Sports Club, located in The Aspens, with a gym, tennis courts, pool, sauna and spas at no additional charge. Pets are considered for well-behaved pet parents.

The Aspens is a beautifully treed, flat west bank development with wide meandering roads, streams, bridges, wildlife, common areas and even a playground. This desirable location in the Jackson Hole valley is midway between Teton Village and the quaint enclave of Wilson, yet less than 10 miles to the busyness of the Town of Jackson. This unit is on the quiet, western edge, overlooking a creek, historic cattle ranch and the mountains beyond. The small commercial area has a specialty market & liquor, coffee house, several restaurants, golf and a wonderful bike path system which is even plowed in Winter to facilitate year-round hiking, biking and jogging! Outdoor activities here are nearly unlimited any time of year!

About Dan

I have four short term rental properties, three in Jackson Hole, one in Lake Tahoe. After years of traveling with young children and all their 'stuff' in 3 large suitcases, I became determined to make vacationing less stressful. We try to provide the extras to make it feel like a home, whether old or young.

I was born in Los Angeles, grew up in Palos Verdes and attended undergraduate and Dental School at UCLA. After living in Marin County, I discovered beautiful Jackson Hole. We live here year round just a few miles away from The Aspens with horses, ducks our new favorite a Talouse Goose!, chickens, dogs and even a miniature mule! Please just ask if the kids would like to visit our 'farm'. We pride ourselves in being available to attend to any problem as quickly as possible.

It lies on the west bank of the Snake River, 7 miles from the hustle and bustle of the Town of Jackson; 4 miles from the ski resort in Teton Village. You can peacefully read a book looking at the Tetons from your patio or walk, hike, bike around this beautiful neighborhood and bike path system. Enjoy the on site pool, tennis and gym or bike to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort to enjoy the tram, paragliding, bungie trampoline, mountain biking, hiking and frisbee golf. The southern entrance to Grand Teton National Park

Wonderful condo in a perfectly lovely location

  • 5 of 5

The condo was very clean and well stocked with all the utensils needed during the stay. The most important aspect was the location and the views from the living area of the Teton Range and Fish Creek. We saw quite a bit of wildlife from the patio of the condo. It was simply a great vacation in a perfect location.

Wonderful property!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in Wilson for the 2017 eclipse and Dan's place was wonderful. It was clean, super well-appointed and comfortable. Dan is very responsive and made every effort to make our stay great. We greatly preferred Wilson to the far more touristy Jackson. The best part of this rental is the amazing view! Thanks again for sharing your home!

Wonderful mountain cabIn!! Difficult to leave Moose Hideaway today!! What a terrific place it is!!

  • 5 of 5

The Moose Hideaway is extremely cozy and comfortable in every way. It was immaculate in cleanliness. We spent time indoors by the fire and outdoors on the deck. We walked in the neighborhood and regularly saw moose! Moose Hideaway is supplied better than any other accommodation of this type. There was an odds and ends drawer that had everything from duct tape to wrenches. The bathroom heat came on with a switch making the modern granite shower extra delightful. In the freezer were chilled beer mugs ready to go!!! We enjoyed the fireplace one evening and all the needed materials were right there. The propane grill makes delicious bison burgers! These are all the extras!! The location is perfect for touring the Tetons and Jackson Hole. We did a lot of hiking and biking. Be sure to include white water rafting in your itinerary. The owners were responsive to questions and accessible as needed. We really hope to return for a longer period of time!!

Excellent location with beautiful views. Very clean and comfortable.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay very much. Central location with gorgeous views. Grand Teton National Park is very close....a 10 minute drive. Biking and hiking close by, and pool and sports club are on the premises. You will see moose in the area, and other wildlife. Teton Village is 5 minutes away, and has much to offer in dining, sport activity and entertainment.

Love this place

  • 5 of 5

We've rented w VRBO 20+ times over the last 5 years and this home ranks at the top because the owners clearly care ab their home and guests. Very scenic views from porch, so much fun to watch the moose, deer, birds each day. Easy access to Jackson and Grand Teton Park and 1-2 hours from Yellowstone sites. Wonderfully stocked kitchen/laundry/baths/porch. Comfy beds, modern tvs, books, toys

Would absolutely stay here again. King bed and pull down sleeper for adults, bunk beds better suited for kids. Tons to do, we stayed 10 days and wish we had longer! Great family vacation, awesome scenery and locals.

Perfect place to enjoy GTNP and Jackson Hole

  • 5 of 5

We just stayed here July 7-16 2017 and had an amazing time. The condo perfectly fits a family of four, we fought over the pull down bed since it had the views of the mountains! The kitchen is well-equipped, they had all we needed, even a cooler and laundry detergent, soap, extra towels, everything. Comfy beds, very clean, nice updates. Teton Sports Club with pool and jacuzzi/spa was awesome at the end of the day. You can find other places to stay but not with this view or wildlife viewing. It was so quiet- this is a very peaceful neighborhood! And from the back porch we saw deer, osprey, raccoons, hummingbirds, bald eagle, and sat there listening to the babbling stream, watched the sunset on the mountains, it was really excellent. The porch you cannot find elsewhere, just perfect spot to relax. Close to good food, we loved Calico Italian and Roadhouse (try the pork plate and shrimp and grits!) just down the road. Aspen market is close and pricey but had fun finds like yummy pastries (the doughnuts!) and great steaks, try their Black Magic Rub, those steaks were one of our better meals all week. All in all a great place, but I would say that if you are looking for a spot to take in Grand Teton and Yellowstone, we found that Yellowstone was a lot farther than we thought, 2.5 hours to Old Faithful and a little longer to the Falls at Grand Canyon. It takes longer than it seems on the map since the south entrance, about 70 miles away, is really not where much of the action is, and the roads are all slow and windy. However, it is a gorgeous drive, we went to Yellowstone for two really long days (up at 4 am, seeing the sunrise on the Tetons was worth it!) and did most of the big items in the park and even some shorter less busy trails. But we loved GTNP the best and this location is ideal for going there. I hope we can find a way to come back soon!
