We had a wonderful stay and Darla was always available to answer questions and provide information throughout our stay. The views were amazing and the kayaks were a great way to explore Robinhood Cove.

This cottage is outstanding! The location at the end of the point provides spectacular views! The house itself is very comfortable and has everything you might need. The location is ideal for sightseeing - Reid State Park is just a few minutes away with a fabulous beach! Darla was very attentive and helpful - the perfect host! We have stayed at a lot of vacation rentals in Maine, but this is our favorite!

Location, Location, Location

This is the ideal property if you are looking for a reasonably priced private location right on the water in the Maine woods. The property is at the end of a point of land, with direct water views left, right and straight ahead. There is also a dock for sunrise gazing or kayaking. You can experience sunrises and sunsets. The house is at the end of a private lane, and the quiet is so relaxing and serene we spent most of our time on the property!The house itself is comfortable, the master bedroom with half bath has a northern view of Robinhood Cove of the Sasanoa River, and there is a very nice little balcony off the bedroom. The kitchen is well-equipped, there are lots of windows and a wrap around deck.At low tide, a Snowy Egret and a Great Blue Heron would show up every day. We saw an adult bald eagle and an immature. One highlight was a Belted Kingfisher.It's difficult to put into words how perfect this location is. It's in the woods, but only 15 minutes from Bath, and 15 minutes from fabulous Reid State Park.The hosts, Darla and Dennis, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and hospitable. They were in the middle of preparations for a family wedding but still took the time to make sure we were comfortable, very nice people.Highly recommended.

Excellent location, quaint cottage with lots of room. Cozy with plenty of modern features. Dead end private drive with no other cars or people in sight. Kitchen and bathroom supplies made it easy to relax. Kayaks and fishing poles were left upon request and put to good use. Quiet day and night, loved hearing the wind blow through the pines. Close to the best lobster we’ve ever had at Five Islands and Donovan’s. Reid State park is close and offers great ocean beaches!

WMy grandchildren and my sister and I had a lovely time in Maine. Darla and her husband were so kind. We were there during an unusual heat wave and they bought us an air conditioner! The home juts out into the water in a beautiful way. What a blessing to share their fathers cabin!
