Welcome to Lux on First  in the city of Sonoma,  just a short walk from the local wineries, shops and restaurants in historic Sonoma Plaza. Located 1/2 block off the Sonoma Plaza, Lux on First is ideally situated close to the restaurants, wine tasting rooms, boutiques and historic sites in downtown Sonoma. ‍

What We Love About This Home
Lux on First is a rare in-town oasis where you can enjoy the privacy of a stand-alone home with a private swimming pool, and also be within an easy walk to popular restaurants, shops and wineries. ‍

Exterior Details
Simple in design on the outside, this home was recently completely renovated to the highest standards, giving the interior a cool vibe. The backyard includes a beautifully refurbished pool (no pool cover), a curved deck overlooking the pool, an outdoor fire pit, outdoor dining table and all-new landscaping. It is  reminiscent of the chic small homes of lower Beverly Hills and Pacific Palisades for those familiar with the neighborhoods of LA.

Interior Details
Although just off of Sonoma Plaza, Lux on First offers privacy with a completely fenced in backyard. The living room features a gas fireplace, large flat screen TV, Sonos audio system and king sleep sofa. Each of the bedrooms has a flat screen TV and the wet bar area includes a small wine refrigerator.‍

Guests staying at Lux on First will enjoy access to BeautifulPlaces pre-arrival assistance. Our local staff can assist with pre-trip suggestions for winery visits, private chef dinners and any other special experiences you desire.  On arrival day you’ll find a bottle of local wine and gourmet coffee waiting for you in your villa, and our team is available during your stay to answer any questions you have.‍

House Rules 
This property is subject to local regulations governing vacation rental properties.   Under local law, events, parties and outdoor amplified music are not allowed. Overnight and day time occupancy is limited to 4 guests, and rental guests must observe quiet hours between 9:00pm and 9:00 am. No pets allowed. Note that the pool is not fenced or covered, and is heated only between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Great location

We were extremely happy with this home. The location was convenient to downtown Sonoma and short drive to all of the vineyards we visited. The house itself was so charming! We loved the kitchen so much that we cancelled dinner reservations so that we could cook and enjoy more time at the house. We loved the fact that there were 2 king sized beds. And, we enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace each morning as we enjoyed our coffee and munching on apples that we picked from the tree in the backyard. We will definitely request to stay at this property our next visit to Napa Valley!

Amazing!

We feel in love with this property immediately! Even better than the pictures show on the VRBO listing! Location perfect!! Backyard is amazing! We didn’t use the beautiful pool but throughly enjoyed coffee in the mornings and great wine in the evenings on the back patio and the fire pit was also a bonus! The property itself perfect! So well taken care of. We honestly struggled with just staying on the property or going to a wine tasting.. I would highly recommend this property - it was one of the highlights of our trip coming home to a beautiful property to hang out and share wine and great conversation!

A Wonderful Home

The home was EXACTLY as advertised. If you appreciate the pictures and description of the property, you will not be disappointed. I would absolutely stay at this property again, and/or rent from this property owner/manager, without reservation.The property was beautiful and very well-kept. It is centrally located and very peaceful. The property and home was very clean and well-stocked which made our stay very enjoyable. Everything in the home and yard worked.Communication with the property managers was excellent. They were always available and never intrusive. Any questions that arose were addressed promptly and completely, and they even helped coordinate flower delivery for my wife ahead of our arrival. We TRULY enjoyed our stay.

Great House

This home was as advertised and very clean. This was the cleanest rental we have stayed in and beautifully decorated. I would suggest a keypad for the front door, this is our first rental that we had to keep track of a key and it was a bit of a hassle especially only having one. Also, we didn't use the pool due to the weather being a bit chilly when we were there but the pool looked a bit unkept. We knew the pool wasn't heated so we were fine with not being able to use it due to weather.

Sonoma Sanctuary

Our group of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lux on 1st. So impressed right when we walked through the front door. The living area is very comfortable. There’s a nice dining table for 6. The kitchen is well stocked to cook in. Nice grill outside. Speaking of outside, we spent ALOT of time drinking wine around the beautiful fire pit. Depending upon when you visit, watch out for apples falling from the one of the trees that’s close by. Even though the pool isn’t “heated” it was plenty warm. The Ac worked well. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms have spacious showers & Gilcrest & Soames bath products. The close proximity to the adorable Sonoma square was so convenient. We loved breakfast at Sunflower Cafe, dinner at Girl & Fig and Della Santino’s trattoria (cute patio in back). The only issue we experienced was slow WiFi. It would be nice if they upgraded it. Highly recommend & would definitely consider coming back when in the area.

Perfect Location

Lux on First was in the perfect location! Half a block from Sonoma Plaza and all there is to do in Sonoma. House was incredibly clean and pool/fire pit was an amazing added bonus. The house essentially has two master suites which was perfect for a couple's get away.

Perfect Location and Quality!

Although we couldn’t get the pool fountain to work, our entire stay at this location was excellent. We walked everywhere downtown Sonoma and we within 30minutes of the furthest wineries we visited! Would definitely come back!
