Wonderful Ladies’ Retreat!

What a perfect spot for college friends celebrating their 60th birthdays! We loved everything about this house on the beach. We spent countless hours in the pool, hot tub and walking the beach. The well-stocked kitchen allowed us to cook all our meals onsite. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. The house was spotless and perfect for the seven of us! Thanks for your hospitality!!!!

Family vacation

We rented this house for a 4 generation family vacation. Everything was perfect! House was just as pictures showed. Well stocked dishes in the kitchen. Plenty of room for everyone. Would highly recommend this house for rental!

Nice Beach House

Property was very clean. The location was magnificent. Beautiful ocean view. The only issues were a Sonos player that we had trouble hooking up, a gas grill with a broken ignition, and some of the outdoor porch furniture was still inside. Other than that, it was a beautiful experience.

Spring Break

House was beautiful, right on the beach. Kids loved having their own bathroom. Open living with room for everyone. Pool and hot tub were heated which was very nice. Close to everything. Only issue was a main level bedroom bathroom had a whistle that was very random, sounded like an alarm. Would definitely book and again and recommend.

We would book this house again. there were a few things that were minor that didn't affect our experience there but see the following items.1) a knife set is needed 2) the one dishwasher doesn't work3) handrail on the deck needs attention4) refrigerator in the master suite doesn't work5) master bedroom door doesn't close so it can be locked6) a lot of fishing hooks and line was left on the ground where we walk which we cleaned up7) could use more hangers in the closet8) a few extra kitchen towels9) clean the pool one more time during the stay and provide a skimmer that we could use to help keep it clean10) ice maker needs cleaned very bad, we did not use it - there was black stuff in it. 11) remove damaged items left behind from previous guests - beach chairs, rafts etc12) WIFI could have been better

The Palms

Location of property was ideal, in between the campground and the Myrtle Beach park. Plenty of bedrooms for our family. Heater on spa broke day after we checked in. Pool service company repaired it day after Memorial Day and rental agency gave us credit for days we couldn't use it. A number of small maintenance issue; none of the issues were significant.

Beach fun

Great house on beautiful part of beach. Convenient drive to the Boardwalks, restaurants and grocery stores. The house was large enough for everyone to have their own beds and bathrooms. We liked that the bedrooms had 2 beds in each upstairs. Only issue, not a real issue, when pool is cleaned, (twice a week) there is no water in the house. Doesn't last long, but not good when you're in the shower. Great family house, this was our second trip and we'll definitely be back.

beach house

The location of the house and easy access to the beach was great. The beach in front of the house was private with only a few people near us - obvious renters from 2 adjacent houses. The house/furniture is quite dated considering the cost of renting this house, but we chose the house mainly for the location and number of rooms. Having a bathroom and tv for each room was a plus.... as was the pool, baby pool, & hot tub. We had 16 people and never felt crowded in the family room/kitchen/outside porch. Garbage was picked up 3'x during our week stay, which helped considering the number of people/garbage we had. We did have a few concerns at the beginning of our stay with small issues, but the rental company was quick in rectifying all of them to our satisfaction. I don't know if we'd rent this exact house next time if things weren't "refreshed" inside.....but we would definitely use the rental company to help find us something comparable.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this beach house was excellent, but the property itself really needs attention. Several of the beach chairs were broken, part of the fence had a broken panel, and the walkway to the beach was overgrown. The pool area was also poorly maintained and overgrown. It was frustrating to see the neighboring homes—rented by the same company—well kept, while this one was not. Although we saw the pool crew on site, the pool itself was not cleaned very well.Inside, we ran into multiple issues. Out of six bathrooms, one toilet had a broken seal that required lifting the lid to refill, and another ran constantly. The kitchen had an ant problem, and the sofa had noticeable stains that made it feel unclean. The second dishwasher didn’t work (and was filled with dirty dishes upon arrival), and the freestanding ice maker was also broken.Other problems included loose deck boards, a broken pool safety railing, and stained bedspreads that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. To make matters worse, the property did not look like the photos advertised. The listing should be updated so guests are not misled or disappointed by the misrepresentation.This house has a lot of potential, but in its current state of maintenance and cleanliness, it was very disappointing for the price we paid.

Wonderful vacation home

Excellent communication booking this home. Every time I called with questions before the trip, they are very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. When I would contact the host, I was answered within 24 hours.My family loved this home. It was great to be able to see the ocean right out the windows. We had 8 adults and a 1-year-old. The 2 large tables and plenty of chairs was more than enough for all of us. The couch was huge and we were all able to sit and watch TV if we wanted. We needed a crib and high chair and were able to get them from a company called Vacation Rental. They do not deliver to this area so we picked them up, it was about 15 minutes from airport. The pool and hot tub were well maintained. I paid to have them heated and they were on our arrival. Everyone was excited to either use them or walk to the ocean and swim. Under the house, there is a box that has all kinds of pool toys and MANY boogie boards. I wish I had known that before going out and buying them. I found that the sliding doors out to the deck were hard to open and close. I am 70 years old and had to have someone open them for me. I did report it and hopefully they will do something to make it easier. Other than that, it was everything we had hoped for. The elevator was a big plus to me. If we are ever going to do a family vacation again, this would be our place!

Excellent Location, House needs work.

We really enjoyed the location of this property and the beach was not crowded at all. It was very confusing at first finding the house when we checked in as the house is not the same color in the picture. The picture shows blue, it is actually yellow. The elevator was nice, the kitchen was nice and big, and the master bathroom was very large and spacious and spa like. Pool and hot tub are nice and the outdoor putt putt area was fun. While the house was nice and big, it needs work and maintenance throughout. Light bulbs were blown inside and out, one of the main level bedroom toilets makes a very loud whistling noise when it flushes, pool and hot tub lights do not work, mattresses are very well used and sunken where people have slept over the years. Living room and dining room furniture felt dated. A lot of interior doors do not latch or lock properly. The screen sliding doors are falling off the tracts. There was an exterior outlet on the deck that was falling out of its place. We found a chewed piece of gum sitting on the ledge of the master bedroom shower. Rust and paint chipping especially on metal and around sliding doors. One upstairs bathroom tub stopper upstairs was broke and one shower in an upstairs bedroom had a curtain that when pulled tight still wouldn’t cover the opening completely. Overall it was a nice stay, but for the money spent, we expected more and think there needs to be a lot of maintenance and upkeep.
