A convenient built-in, zinc topped side serving cabinet with glass faced doors provides more countertop space and a staging area for meal service. The ‘heart’ of the kitchen is a professional stainless steel Viking 6-burner range with grill and double ovens, and a high wall mounted faucet for filling your pasta pots. This bathroom is also convenient for guests using the pool and backyard entertainment areas.
Now, let’s take a look at the lovely Royal Pool House Suite. Enter the pool house under the wisteria covered arbor, to the ceramic slate-tiled floor. To the right is a large sleeping area with open beamed, soaring cathedral ceilings and ceiling fan. A beautiful upholstered framed king bed graces this lovely private space with a seating area and antique entertainment center with a 36” JVC LC HD TV with DirecTV. There is also an outdoor shower to the left side of the pool house for rinsing before and after using the pool.
Lastly, let me wax poetic about the outdoor amenities. The large ipe wood deck off of the kitchen/dining area is furnished with a large seating area, including a loveseat and several armed as well as armless chairs. A Vermont Castings grill is provided for your grilling pleasure and preparing your ‘roast beast’.
Also provided is an outdoor teak dining table for 8. The central feature of the backyard, of course, is the 20’x40’ inground pool with electric motored cover, and an inground 7’ circular spa. There are three beautiful paper bark willow trees at the north end of the pool. Beside the pool is a large flagstone perimeter with 8 wood, cushioned lounge chairs, 4 side tables, and an umbrella or two for some shade when needed.
Additionally, the large yard has decomposed granite pathways, white picket fencing, and a large lawn area ideal for lawn bocce ball or croquet, and a horseshoe pit is also provided and additionally a firepit with 6 Adirondack chairs. The backyard area is also home to a beautiful, mature, curly willow, lots of mature plantings and flowering shrubs, a hundred year old ginkgo biloba and mature liquid amber trees with a couple camellias and 14 olive trees, as well.
This Wine Country ‘paradise’ is also surrounded by working vineyards for an authentic grape experience. Ideally located for enjoying Healdsburg, the Magnolia & Vine Estate is a perfect ‘home base’, whether you just relax and soak in all of the beauty and amenities provided, or venture out in almost any direction for enjoying the many adventures nearby. Just to the south, you can follow the Russian River, along River Rd, through the redwoods, to the rugged Sonoma County Coast, and a few miles north is originally Russian, newly renovated, historic Fort Ross, which is a wonderful daytrip. You will likely need at least a week to explore, experience, and enjoy it all, and then return again and again for relaxation, rejuvenation, and more adventures.

This property management company was fantastic to work with. They are very attentive. They made the check in process a delightful experience. They were detail oriented and made sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend Birdsong Property Management to anyone looking for a professional operation.
As the last of my four sons graduated from college, we were looking for a setting where we could celebrate as a family with enough room for a party with friends. The cottage at Magnolia & Vine was the perfect choice! We all got to enjoy each other's company in a tranquil and bucolic setting. As an interior designer, I especially appreciated this chic bungalow style. The well-maintained home, exceptionally well-equipped kitchen, and the especially helpful management staff made this the perfect weekend getaway for our celebration.
The setting is very close to downtown Healdsburg making it convenient to enjoy fabulous meals at many of the fine restaurants near the town square.
For meals at home, the kitchen had everything one needs. The outdoor BBQ was conveniently located near the kitchen making outdoor meals delightful as the weather was superb. The pool and jacuzzi were appreciated by all our guests as was bocci ball. There is a lovely guest/pool house with its own kitchen offering privacy for additional guests. The property sits in the midst of vineyards...beautiful!
We like to venture out and visit new places, but Magnolia & Vine is a sure thing. I can say for sure we'll be back! Thank you for helping our family make memories.

Great 4 days in mid June, 2016. Perfect location - very close to town, but has a feel of being far away. Well supplied, especially in the kitchen with everything you need. Much better than most rentals. Lots of great outdoor seating spaces. Hot tub was hot, pool was comfortably warm. Family visited us from Minnesota. They're ready to move to Northern California after this long weekend. The cottage is nice and it's separate from main house. It worked well for us. Might not be ideal for every group or family unless you have older kids in house or another family. Hope to come back again.
Three couples stayed for a long weekend and the house was perfect. Great place to stay to check out the best of CA Wine Country!!
Four of us (two couples) stayed at Magnolia for few days during the perfect time of year -- when it's still warm but the leaves are just barely starting to change color. The landscape at the house and in the surrounding area is gorgeous. That's probably true year round but especially during this time of the year. Plus it was warm enough during the day to use the pool and lounge around outside, but cool enough at night and in the mornings to sit in the hot tub.
The house itself was great for the four of us, with plenty of room (would've been fine for six too). If you like to cook, the kitchen is a dream and honestly the cookware in some cases was better than what I had at home. A refreshing change for a vacation rental! We ended up cooking most of our meals at the house. The wi-fi worked great too, which was critical because although we were out of town, some of us still had to work.
The place is located very close to downtown Healdsburg and many wineries so it was easy to get supplies and go wine tasting. But really it was just so nice to just hang out at the house and go for walks in the surrounding area. We will definitely be back!
