Cabaña aislada en bosques maduros, a pocos pies del parque. En 10 acres privados y a solo un corto paseo de Greenbrier Creek que sale del parque, desemboca en (aproximadamente 1 milla) Cosby Creek que está repleto de truchas. La pesca está bien sin una licencia en el sitio. La cabina está amueblada, estufa / horno de tamaño completo, nevera, cafetera, microondas, combinación de bañera / ducha en el baño, cama queen arriba (escalera de caracol no adecuada para personas con problemas de movilidad). Tiene su propio pozo de fuego, mesa de picnic, hamaca y parrilla de barbacoa. Ubicado en Cosby, Tn. Una pequeña comunidad rural no incorporada a solo 17 millas al NE de Gatlinburg. ¡Hay dos áreas comunes separadas en el arroyo con mesa de picnic, hamaca y fogata para su disfrute! El pintoresco, montaña, relativamente poco desarrollado, sin luz roja en coche a Gatlinburg toma 20-25 min. Aproximadamente 40-45 min. conducir a Pigeon Forge / Dollywood o Sevierville. Un camino privado rodea el interior de la propiedad a través del bosque y el jardín de flores. Tenemos una entrada menos transitada al parque a solo 3 millas de la entrada del campamento Cosby Trailhead. Hay 7 restaurantes, uno, muy recomendable Carvers Apple House, 2 Dollar Tiendas generales en un radio de 5 millas y un Wal Mart de 15 millas (20 minutos) en una pequeña ciudad no turística, Newport, Tn. Para aquellos que puedan tener interés en el oeste de N.C., Maggie Valley, Cherokee, Hot Springs, Waynesville está a solo 45 minutos. y Ashville / Biltmore es 1 hora. 10 minutos. La autopista interestatal I-40 está a solo 8 millas de nosotros, a 6 millas sobre la montaña, a través del parque, con vistas panorámicas, a través de The Foothills Parkway. ¡Ubicación perfecta para disfrutar de las Grandes Montañas Humeantes en el este de Tennessee o el oeste de Carolina del Norte sin tener que cambiar de alojamiento!

Host was very nice! Cabin was very clean and was perfect for our needs.... and so accommodating to dogs.... we loved the location and waking up to the wonderful wilderness its nestled in....

My husband and I arrived an hour and a half after check-in. The manager was just cleaning the cabin. He was very friendly and helpful as far as sights to see in the area. Upon entering the cabin, the smell of dogs was overwhelming. The cabin was supposed to be sanitized. The odor was coming from the couch. After spraying the couch with disinfectant spray 4 times, the odor was a little more bearable. There was no hot water-not even quite lukewarm-so cold showers! At night, there were some kind of critters in the walls and ceiling- chewing the wood walls and ceiling and racing around keeping us awake. We did like the wooded privacy, but we were pretty disappointed that we didn't get the nice, relaxing getaway we were hoping for. We will not be returning.

Very nice people who own the cabin. Very pretty property. The only thing we did not do was go down to the creek because it was very wet out. But beautiful to walk around the bed was comfortable.

Quaint rustic cabin set back in the woods. Great location for those looking to be close to everything but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Only downside for us was the lack of hot water. It only got just past lukewarm. We just boiled water and took bird baths. An overall great stay.

This place is amazing! Very secluded. Just beautiful and very clean. The most perfect getaway. The gentleman that took us to the cabin was fantastic. The AC was wonderful and much appreciated. We will absolutely be back

Weekend getaway

Was wanting to find a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and found it. From the second we saw it, we fell in love with it. Will definitely be back soon.

It was great but the creek didn't run anywhere close to us as it showed in the pictures. They need to thin out some smaller trees and clean up close to cabin.

Cool little cabin

We really enjoyed our stay in this rustic little cabin (with our 9-year-old dog). It's an older cabin, but has been well maintained, has character, is clean, and is in a great location. We loved how quiet and private it is. The bed linens were fresh and clean and there were plenty of clean towels in the bathroom. Chris met us on the road as we arrived and gave us helpful info for accessing the cabin and path to the creek. I took off one star only because the water temperature in the shower fluctuated between hot and cold. We'd definitely stay here again on our next visit in this area.

Simple

We enjoyed our stay at the Honeymoon Cabin. We enjoyed the scenic drive into Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. The cabin was simple, we didn’t need much because we mainly were out and about at Dollywood/Gatlinburg. We saw one bear on the property on our way back in one evening! There is a coffee shop nearby that’s in a laundry mat (about 2-4 miles down the road) we’d grab a warm coffee and enjoy the drive into Gatlinburg. My only complaint is the shower was not hot. It would be warm then turn cold intermittently. That could be fixed though. We never used the fire pit, but that looked super nice. This cabin is for enjoying the outdoors. It’s not luxurious for a glamper and that is what made it the best for us.

Cabin in the woods

The property is secluded in the woods, private and quiet. The cabin is older but is well kept and in good shape. This is a wonderful setting with privacy. Great place to stay.

Dirty..rotten Tomatos cat litter everywhere.

The owner was rude. When we told him about it being dirty he told us he had something in his pocket that would put us under the ground. Would not give us a refund and we told him we would just go on and stay, he refused to give us the key to the cabin. Had to go get a motel room.

Cozy rustic cabin in woods

Set in the woods. Clean and great porch to relax after all the craziness of Dollywood etc. Chris our host was great and left extra towels throughout stay. A little walk to to creek which was so pretty. Not fancy but just perfect, with all that you need.

We loved the cabin. It was small but had all the amenities. It had a supreme location, especially if you like blazing your own trail. The smoky mountains were great! Saw 4 bears and 47 elk as well as amazing views.

Totally loved the property owner-so helpful. Place is MAGICAL!! Totally in nature. Beautiful property, gorgeous waterfalls on site! Camp fires every night! All within close distance to town if you need anything… best place in the world to UNWIND AND RELAX!

Secluded in the woods

The cabin was nicely located away from the hustle and bustle of nearby Gatlinburg. Poor lighting in the living room. Cabin needs to be sprayed fir bugs.....had numerous bugs inside. Outside area around the cabin needed some attention, i realize its a cabin but it can still be eye appealing. Over all, enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Enjoyed the porch swing very much.

Awesome tiny cabin!

We wanted a secluded and cozy cabin for mine and my husbands honeymoon and this cabin did not disappoint! It was wonderful enjoying early mornings and evenings listening to the sounds of nature but we were close enough to all the amenities that it wasn't inconvenient. There are 2 Dollar Generals within 2 miles for quick grocery runs and a Walmart less than half an hour away. There is so many things to do and see around the area outside of Gatlinburg. This is perfect for someone that likes being in nature and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cabin was slightly dated but very clean. The owner was very nice and gave several good recommendations on food. The gardens are beautiful as well.

Because it borders the National Park on 2 sides & has a large mountain creek that comes out of the park with mature forest having wildflowers, mushrooms, fauna, Rhododendron, Mountain Laurel & wildlife. Knowing property bordering the park would never be developed. Don't guess need to say more.

Makes for a wonderful stronghold with land to grow food access to clean water with fish. wildlife for food, one way in & out with 1.9 million acres (The GSMNP & 3 Nat`l. forest, Nantahala, Pisgah & Cherokee) in my back yard
