This 1 bedroom/1 bath oceanfront condo is the perfect St. Augustine getaway for a romantic couple or small family! Guests will never want to leave the balcony with its panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean and the beach.
If the ocean isn’t enough, you can enjoy high-speed wireless Internet access and flat-screen cable TVs. The condo has a small kitchen, stocked for your cooking needs as well.
Beacher’s Lodge is a condo-hotel on Anastasia Island in an area known as Crescent Beach, which features a smooth white sandy beach, perfect for walking and playing in the waves, yet just 9 miles south of St Augustine’s historic district. Beacher’s Lodge amenities include private beach walkway, heated oceanfront pool, picnic/grilling area, washer/dryer on premises (not in the condo), and ramp/elevator access from the spacious parking lot. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance.

Just a short drive away, less than an hour, is Daytona Beach to the South and Jacksonville to the North. Orlando is just a 2.5 hour drive as well.

The view was amazing. It was fairly clean. Missing sheets for the pull out bed but the kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook. I didn’t receive an email on how to check in but Overall I had a great stay

While the location and view from the balcony are excellent, the unit itself needs some work. It is small. There was some initial confusion as to picking up the rental envelope; it was remedied quickly. There was no indication that we were to pick up the package at the front of the office in their basket after hours. I have not used this rental company before so I didn't know. As to the unit, the view is a 10 but the unit is a 3 at best. The kitchen area looked like it needed another cleaning. There were grease stains all over the side of the refrigerator and on the stove, in addition to the rust stains on both. The coffee pot looked like someone had just finished their morning brew. Thankfully, I brought my own.There is no storage space for your things. All the cabinets/drawers are taken up by either bed linens, cleaning supplies, or kitchens utensils. And I don't understand why the mattress was encased in a plastic bag.. Nothing like some crinkling every time you moved. In the bathroom there was a hole in the under sink cabinet wall. This created a mildew smell from there. I'm not sure how the other rentals at this condo lodge are, but I'd avoid this one until they make some improvements.

Unit needed cleaning and the furniture was old and needed to be cleaned. Living room lamp didn't work due to the fact the wall outlet was loose. The cost of rental was approximately 20% more than if leased through Beacher's Lodge plus if rented through Beacher's Lodge you receive weekly housekeeping and fresh towels and bed linens. The internet connection was poor to non existent. If you work and need to be on-line you are in trouble. Over all, Beacher's rate their rentals gold, silver and bronze ... this unit fell way below bronze.A two star rating is a gift. Will not return to this unit.
