Why Bosworth Bungalow Director chose Puget Sound North

As young newlyweds, we rented this cabin years ago and fell in love with Lake Bosworth and the get-away cottage of our dreams. The opportunity to purchase the lake cabin presented itself in 2005, and guess what? We snatched it up without any hesitation. Today, our family, friends, guests and children enjoy everything about The Bosworth Bungalow and what it has to offer. Fishing, swimming, relaxation, peace, warm summer nights, cool winter mornings, amenities close by, hiking, biking and so much more……

We have even offered the cabin to wedding couples for some awesome photo opportunities.

We anticipate you will enjoy it as much as we have for the past 20+ years. Happy Trails and we look forward to your visit!

Guestbook comments from the owner

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bosworth Bungalow! What a great place to get away. The bungalow is so cozy and comfortable. The lake is beautiful and gives the effect of being "away from it all." AND...we caught 25 fish on opening day of fishing!! Check this place out!

Delightful lake cabin - clean and charming!

  • 5 of 5

Everything went perfectly from check-in to check-out. Beds were comfortable and the bedding was good. Plenty of hot water and the kitchen had everything that we needed. The view is serene and the house was quiet. We hope to stay there again soon!

Bittersweet

  • 5 of 5

This is a tough review to write for several reasons. The first being that a few years ago, we were almost the first people to stay at the Bungalow, fall totally in love with it and review it accordingly. We visited during a time of great difficulty and found the serenity and charm of the bungalow conducive to healing and the making of new, special memories. Although there were some minor issues, we dealt with them happily (I even cut the lawn and filled the propane tanks!). We tried for two years to get back, and thankfully, we were able to schedule a reunion at the bungalow for a couple weeks. Once again, our time was joyful and blessed. Once again there were a few mishaps (some step boards were loose and one of us almost fell off the top of the deck) but all in all, our time was wonderful. I've rented places all over the country, and almost without exception weekly rentals run Saturday to Saturday, so after a relaxing two weeks stay, it was with no small amount of surprise that I got a call from the owner on Friday morning asking why we had not checked out. In shock, I realized I had mistakenly assumed we had until Saturday. It was about 11am - I apologized profusely and we threw ourselves into a massive effort to vacate as fast as possible. Fortunately, the day before we had cleaned the place thoroughly, so mainly we just need to pack our stuff out and clean the fridge. Their cleaning service was there, and they reassured us that our efforts were helpful enough that there would be no inconvenience - I tipped her heavily for the delay and we were gone by 1:15PM. And now the bitter part.......when I called to apologize again, I told the owner that we wanted to book for a month the following summer, and was told that "as a result of the delay in check out, we will no longer be renting to you". More than shocked, I was sincerely hurt. We had created very special memories at the bungalow, and as anyone who rents understands - we had come to think of it as our special place. Nothing I could say or offer would sway the owners - they were cold and unwavering. It made no sense, especially considering the stellar condition we left things in, and our rental history with them. So the only way I can honestly review this is to say that the bungalow is a charming, special place - but take care falling in love with it and do not make ANY mistakes, for the owners have very little grace or compassion for either human error, or sentimentality,

Great time

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at this property. The weather didn't fully cooperate, but it was still lovely. Fire pit next to the lake, a boathouse full of fun water gear to use. We'll definitely be back!

A tranquil hideout from the rush of life.

  • 5 of 5

A perfect getaway destination. The bungalow is inviting at every discovery as you find your way around. Perfectly appointed with everything needed to enjoy the 'cabin at the lake’ experiance. Its is amazing how quite this lake is, even on the weekend. We returned from this relaxing setting recharged and refreshed. We will make plans to repeat our stay.

FISHING, FISHING, FISHING! Bring your poles and have a great time catching local trout and largemouth bass.

Granite Falls is a quiet town, but was once a thriving economic hub. The local railway disappeared long ago with the logging and mining firms it used to serve. Many archeological remnants of the industrial-era operation still remain; waiting to be discovered by those who know where to look. Popular hikes include Lime Kiln Trail, Robe Canyon, Mt. Pilchuck, Lake 22, Heather Lake, Monte Cristo Ghost Town and Big 4 Ice Caves.

The Lookout Lodge is only minutes away from Lake Bosworth. Getting married soon? Planning an event? Plan your next event while booking The Bosworth Bungalow for your honeymoon, for your guest lodging or family to stay close by!!!
