About Yosha DeLong

Native Montana girl who currently lives in London. I had this house built about 8 years ago near the property I grew up on.

Yosha DeLong purchased this chalet in 2007

Why Yosha DeLong chose Glacier Country

This house is close to my parents and my sister and her family. It allows me to escape the hectic life of the city and return to my roots in Montana.

What makes this chalet unique

The views from this house are amazing. I often just stop what I'm doing to stare at the mountains. I love hiking and have hiked most of the mountains around the area. The view you see out the front is Therriault Pass. This is also an amazing hiking area in the summer.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a great week of skiing and fishing. The house was/is great, and we would love to come back when there is more snow and hungry fish. The H.A. Brewery was convient and a lot of fun.

Beautiful country and home. Thanks for the hospitality.

Perfect getaway during our family reunion

  • 5 of 5

We loved this home, location, view, etc.! The home was beautiful and rustic with awesome decks and an incredible view. Very spacious thanks to a lower terrace level, too. So well stocked down to the last detail. Even a couple cowboy hats in the closet! We loved the location for running into Eureka or getting to the numerous lakes and trailheads nearby. It also doesn't hurt to be close to the great brewery down the road. We were in the area for a family reunion and were able to host the group for breakfast one morning. Again, perfectly stocked with everything we needed and more. We can't wait to come back and stay there again!

All round awesome!

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect place for my siblings and partners and other family to come together for a four day stay. Just trust the directions to the property and let the fresh mountain air and wonderfully appointed luxurious home take over. We prepared most of our meals on site and found the kitchen to be fully stocked with spices, condiments etc. This is a very spacious home with many comfortable sitting spaces inside and outside. We enjoyed some good walks and the scenery is beautiful.

Hidden Gem!

  • 5 of 5

We woke up the first morning to find three deer grazing in the backyard. It was a great start to a wonderful week. Enjoyed the cool, fresh morning air watching the sun come up over the mountains. The view was spectacular. The property, inside and out was breath taking and had everything we needed. Thank you for opening up your home to us.

The perfect retreat for a large group

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful week in Montana. Casa de Yosha was even better than I dreamed. From the mountain views to the incredible deck to the beautiful furnishings to a kitchen prepped to cook a gourmet meal, we had the best time ever. Every detail was so carefully thought out to make the house an exceptional place to stay. Want to have a lake day at nearby Dickey Lake? There is a box labeled with beach towels, coolers, and anything you may need! Want to listen to music outside beneath the stars? The entire house is wired with speakers. It was perfect and I hope we make it back there someday in the near future. While it was a bit of a far drive to Glacier National Park, it was wonderful to come home after a long day of hiking to a house that flt each guest comfortably. Thanks for having such a great space!

One of the best Places to stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic experience at this place. We were 10 in number and always wanted for a place that's far away from the city life and this place served us the most. This place gave us a lot of memories to bag with us. One of our friend was a little disappointed, because he always wanted a hot tub within it, just as an additional asset to the place. But, overall I would easily give a five for this place. Finally, it's the most beautiful place to stay.
