Relaxed stay

  • 5 of 5

Needed a relaxed few days after touring Georgia & South Carolina for 18 days. Stayed at Anne & Max's horse farm on way back to Orlando airport. Good suite with plenty of room and everything you could need. Quiet and peaceful with horses, dogs, peacocks and chicken to keep you amused and company. Anne & Max were great hosts, there if you needed and left you alone when it suited. Will stay again if in area

Beautiful & Relaxing

  • 5 of 5

This is a fantastic gem only 20 min north of downtown Ocala. Rolling greens, gorgeous oaks and plenty of room for the family... I would highly recommend if your looking for a little R&R... Max and Anne are super people and made some excellent restaurant suggestions... We would love to return...

Picturesque Farm And Lovely Owners

  • 5 of 5

The farm is absolutely beautiful with pampered animals and immaculate grounds; however, everything would be for not if it weren't for two gracious owners/hosts Max & Anne. We came for 'Fathers Day' to visit my father who lives in Belleview and stayed for a week with my husband, son and our dog & cat. The home was very welcoming and spotless. I enjoyed the kitchen with SS cookware and very pretty China dishes and glassware. Washer & dryer was a must with a boy. My husband and son enjoyed the swimming pool everyday. Our queen bed was comfy. Maximillian my 8 year old fell in love with Tristan the Norwegian Fjord Horse. Mr. Max who is a fountain of knowledge shared with us facts pertaining to horses. Mr. Max gave our son a ride on this magnificent animal. I will treasure the memories and hope to visit again. Thank you Mr Max & Ms Anne (-;

Just what we were looking for

  • 5 of 5

We truly enjoyed our stay and it was more than we could have imagined. I was trying to avoid a hotel since we were in town for 4 days with our kids. They always seem to get stir crazy in a hotel, and this property had all of the ammenities of a hotel and then some. We didn't get to enjoy the pool because Of the schedule we were keeping, but we certainly enjoyed the comfort of our suite. The bed was wonderful. There were plenty of linens and towels. The washer and dryer was a huge plus. The kitchen was large and well stocked with dishes and small appliances. I was able to cook a few meals and prepare breakfast daily. The tv had plenty of children's channels, though the tv was on very little. There were quite a few children's books and stuffed animals throughout the suite and if you're a magazine-reader, they have quite the awesome collection. My kids were smitten with the animals right outside our windows. This farm is impecably kept and the animals are so well-behaved. We unfortunately have very little "green space" where we live, so this was something that really felt like vacation for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

A Peaceful and fun time out

  • 5 of 5

What a delightful interlude our time at Anne and Max's horse farm was! They are gracious hosts and make you feel right at home. Sweet Tristan and all the other horses, peacocks, barn rabbit, dogs, cats, and even a rooster were so welcoming. My chocolate lab felt right at home and enjoyed all the activity on the farm. Our unit was clean, comfortable, cheerful and equipped with everything we needed. Nice colors and plenty of good books to read. The huge oaks on the property, wide open sky and beautiful sunsets topped it all off. A very peaceful location. The quiet time in the barn during a light rain shower one evening visiting the horses while they munched their alfalfa was one of the most peaceful moments ever. Anne was generous with suggestions and recommendations of places to visit while in the area. We enjoyed brunch at the Hilton in Ocala and our time visiting Buddy the Clydesdale who lives on the property. He's a gem. Thank you Anne and Max for creating such a lovely experience for your guests.
