This is a one of a kind property at Oz. Located at the top of Beech Mountain. Just as you go under the bridge and across from the top of the ski lifts you will find this mountain top townhouse with phenomenal long range views looking to Tennessee and Virginia.

Slope side to the Oz run and across from the gates of Oz you can enjoy all four seasons that include skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, golf, tennis,and enjoy the 5506 Sky Bar for lunch and a beer at the top of the mountain in the Emerald Outback all from your front door at this premiere location.

The three bedrooms two and half baths. Master, great room, kitchen, dining area, laundry room and playroom all on the main level. Spacious back deck lends itself to lazy days watching spectacular sunrises and sunsets from the hot tub.

Hike to the Village enjoy dining and entertainment featuring historic venues such as Fred's General Store, Brick oven Pizza, and famous North Carolina Trout and fine wines at Vasarely's!

Enjoy the propane fireplace in the living room while you watch the game on a HDTV.

On the main floor, you will find the master bedroom with baths, kitchen, dining room, mud room with racks for your ski gear and the living room, with a beautiful television and even more beautiful views of the mountains. All Bedrooms have televisions

Great vacation home

Our family very much enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The view and location were fabulous. The kitchen was well stocked. My son loved the basketball game. Peter answered all my questions before we arrived and Jana was so hospitable. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful weekend

We had a wonderful weekend. The location is simply outstanding. With the snow that fell and the location of the property, we were in awe of our weekend. One of our best trips in a very long time. If you love to ski, visit this house! And the hot tub was amazing, even in the extremely cold weather!

Location couldn't be beat for skiing!

This was such a great rental for our ski trip. It's location was perfect, the only thing that would've made it better is if it had snowed. But maybe next time! We felt right at home and very comfortable throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the fireplace on the cold nights. The only thing that was off was the hot tub. It wasn't heated and I had to contact the property manager, via text. She responded right away and I was able to reset the electrical panel per her instructions. It took about a day to heat up. Overall, my family enjoyed our mountain vacation and made lots of wonderful Christmas memories.

Jan 2020 Stay

This is a great property located at the top of Beech Mountain. House is located on Oz ski run, but unfortunately Beech Mountain rarely opens Oz run (it was closed over the holidays and rarely opens until late in season, if at all). Nevertheless, house has great views and is located a very short walk from the lift at the top of mountain. Must be one of the highest houses on the East coast. Jana does a terrific job managing the property! She checked on us during a snowstorm and made sure we could safely get to and from the property (including home following the storm). House is a duplex and actually has an extra bonus room with a trundle bed (did not see that room in the pics which was a pleasant surprise). Our family was very comfortable here. We hope we can come back in the summer for mtn biking and frisbee golf! Great stay!

Awesome cozy home

Our family loved this property. Home was so cozy, and the views were amazing. The kitchen and home were well stocked and the place was very clean. We were able to use the hot tub on the back deck after a great day of skiing. Only wish we could have stayed longer! Peter and Jana were great to communicate with and so helpful. Excellent hosts and incredible home!

Lovely place and owner!

This was one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed in Beech Mnt. Along side of the most well stocked we have ever had. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with. We had the best time at this property! I wish Beech Resort would put more efforts into opening Oz run so we could have enjoyed it, but that didn't stop us! The top of the slopes is only steps away and very convenient. The sunsets on this side of the mountain is breathtaking. Thank you so much for being such a wonderful property owner, you made our experience excellent!

Great Mountain Home for Skiing!

Great location at the top of Beech Mountain within steps of the chairlift and Skytop bar. My only recommendation would truly only be to update the pictures on the site as they don’t do it justice. We had a great time even though we got snowed in. Neighbors next door were awesome and were a life saver in helping us get cars pulled out of the 40” snow drift to get us home. Would def stay again!

Can’t get any closer

If you’re here to ski, this is place to stay. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Was great to have basic supplies provided. Owner was a great communicator. Highly recommend.

Perfect place for a relaxing family vacation!

This house was PERFECT! Clean, cozy, charming, and convenient. This is the best place to stay on the mountain in my opinion. Kids enjoyed the come and go convenience of restrooms and food without having to deal with the lodge and public restrooms. The bar next to us at the top was great to relax and people watch… and it had an amazing view! Peter was the perfect host from recommendations as well as general follow up. We had no issues other than my son not feeling well and the sweet next door neighbor Jana, was so sweet and brought over some meds and he was shredding the slopes the next day. For many, this is just another vacation, for us, this was our opportunity of getting to watch our kids experience the slopes for the first time! Thank you so much Peter and Jana… and Merry Christmas!

Perfect mountain getaway

This house was awesome! Hot tub heated up quickly, beautiful view and no steep parking! House had a ton of supplies we didn’t need anything but food! We had a little trouble with our GPS and the owner was very quick to respond. They even left us some Christmas chocolates with a nice hand written card. Great place to stay I would definitely recommend it!

BEST HOME ON THE MOUNTAIN!

We recently stayed here for a long extended ski weekend. It was truly like no other. We could jump on the run from behind the house and it was a quick 5 min ride to the resort. The house was so clean and the neighbor is by far awesome and got us a sitter so we could even do stuff with our older ones one night while our little ones were home. The owner is so informative and kind and beyond accommodating. I would go back every year.

Awesome at the top of the world

Location, location, location - even with rainy weather for a ski vacation we still had a great trip. The convenience of the house made the trip a good one. Property owner and manger are very helpful.

Best vacation ever!!

Spur of the moment trip for us and 1st time skiing with our kids! We had a blast! Jana was great to have right next door and helped us with anything we needed! Thank you Jana for all the tips and hospitality! We will be back!

Fall Getaway

When booking a home online it's often difficult to know exactly what to expect. Unless someone has referred the property to you, you're taking the information/pictures you see online and making your best educated guess. Our educated guess certainly turned out to be the correct one in this case! WOW, the views are phenomenal!!! The property is located at Oz, which is high at the TOP of Beech Mountain. From the back porch you can sit and watch an amazing sunset over the mountains. You can do this either from the chairs or while relaxing (after a long day of hiking) in the hottub. If you're an early riser, you can walk right across the street and see the sunrise over another spectacular mountain range. The house is very comfortable, and perfect for a family. The kitchen is very well stocked, lots of cozy blankets to cover-up on the porch, TVs in every room, plenty of games to choose from, a table top fire-pit on the porch, gas fireplace inside, hot tub.... A "playroom" with a twin and trundle provides a great extra place for the kids to hang-out too. Another HUGE plus was the attentiveness of Peter, the owner, and Jana, the property manager. Peter was so informative prior to our arrival, and answered any questions we had before we asked them. Jana lives in the adjacent duplex, so is there upon arrival to answer any other questions you might have. By the way, you would never know this house is a duplex, it feels like you're in a single family home. We highly recommend this property!

The house was just as described and very clean upon our arrival.

Our family rented this home for Parents Weekend at App it was just the perfect retreat. The view is spectacular from the house as well as a short walk around the area. A beautiful view of Grandfather Mountain right up the hill from the home. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. This trip we did not cook but hope to be back to ski so I did take an inventory. The owner is very nice and attentive he went over and beyond to welcome us for the weekend. I highly recommend this home.
