Perfect Relaxing weekend
My husband and I were a bit leery of going after reading some reviews about staff pushing the timeshares, but this was not the case at all. The staff was so pleasant upon arrival and even gave us a list of nearby activities, restaurants, and a brochure of wineries. They informed us of timeshare meeting times in case we were interested but that was it ... no pushing at all. The condo was beautiful and so comfortable. The pool area was magnificent. The whole property is gorgeous. We can’t wait to come back again!
This was the perfect setting for a relaxing weekend get away! Every aspect of this stay was above expectations. Will definitely recommend this property to everyone!
The room was a good size, and kitchen was well stocked to make meals. The bed was comfortable, and our suite had a really pretty view from the patio. We liked being able to park right out front, and we were directly across from the pool area. There are really pretty views throughout the property. The pool area is great, two pools, and an area to play pool or watch TV, with tables. We plan to visit again. HOWEVER, We did not realize we were purchasing a shareholders points essentially, so wasn't happy that we paid a cleaning fee, and more than the same room actually costs if you book directly. There are no on-site food options (so get groceries etc before arrival), or amenities other than the pool area. The wifi was $5.95 a day for 2 devices.
This condo was perfect for my family! It was spacious, clean and updated. Also, within walking distance to the beautiful pool! We will book again

The place is definitely worth 5 stars, but I left a 3 star review because...
Booking through this person, I believe Jan was the name in the email. Definitely had issues. Bought reservation well in advance, but the paperwork was not submitted to the resort until 2 days before we were schedule to stay and the resort said that they didn't have all of our paperwork that was needed and for that, we had to wait about 2.5 hrs after our check in time to even get a room. During check in, there was a couple that booked through this same person, but through vrbo. They had bought their reservation about 4 days prior and their paperwork was never sent in until they had already been at the front desk trying to figure it out for 30 minutes while on the phone with this listing and with vrbo. The people that worked at the resort mentioned that this has happened quite a few times from people who have booked with this person from this listing.
I do not say all of this to necessarily "bad mouth" anyone, but If I am booking through a site or someone, I would want to know the facts and whether it is worth me and my family's time or not.
The World Mark by Wyndham is AWESOME! The people who work there and the other people staying there are very nice, the grounds are beautiful, they have activities throughout the day everyday for families or just for people who want to enjoy a relaxed time. The resort is built well, it is really quiet, the rooms are spacious, but still small enough to enjoy one another if you bring the family. The resort is about 20 minutes away from town, so bring all the things you want or need to for however long you are staying. If you need help with anything during your stay, the office is quick to get you want you need without you have to leave your room.
Overall, I would definitely stay at this location again, but I will not book through this listing to do so.

Gorgeous setting, coldish ambience, really bad neighbors
Setting is absolutely breathtaking, but resort itself is pfaux opulence; we wound up ground floor below kids that would never stop jumping around their unit and construction is not high enough quality to insulate against noise and impact
Given nightly price, we experienced a three star stay at a five star fee—just not worth the money as there are truly luxurious alternatives in the area

Property was beautiful and well taken care of y’all.
The property was very nice and we will return in the future. The staff was a little on the pushy side to get involved in the timeshare part of it. Even after we stated that we weren’t interested as we have know the owner. But over all was a fabulous weekend. Thank you for a weekend that we won’t forget.

Awesome stay
This trip was just about perfect, and everything we could've asked for. We only stayed one night and were able to get everything we needed and more out of this place. The rooms were immaculate and so beautifully designed. I didn't even realize we would have a full kitchen and dining room! The pool/recreation area??? What else could I say amazing! Two beautiful pools and one 20 person hot tub. The pool on the second level was heated, and was wonderful for a calm November night. There were pool & ping pong tables up there as well. Not taking any stars of this review for this, as it actually made our night just that much more memorable, but there was a kooky bat flying around the bottom level pool and scaring us lol. Only reason they get four stars instead of five is simply for the fact that they tried to pitch us into joining a time share presentation. And instead of just letting us say no to the invite, they asked the ever so prevalent time share question.... "Can I ask why not?". Would've attained 5 stars if that weren't the case. If I could give 4.9 I would, because this truly was a memorable night for my wife and mine first anniversary. Not to mention close enough to Lost Maples State Park to get there in about 45 minutes.
