The house is very unique and has its own charm; good location. There needs to be just a bit more TLC to make sure the house is a bit more welcoming - basic kitchen supplies needed; ensure linens are clean and in good condition; appliances ready for any cooking. A listing of instructions on how to use the projection tv would have been helpful, as would a clock in the master bedroom. Generally, the house was acceptable.

Thank you for your feedback John. We have since replaced all bath towels and refreshed several guest supplies. We've also updated our house manual with projector instructions and are improving kitchen organization and labeling so commonly used items and amenities are even easier to locate. We appreciate your suggestions and are always looking for ways to make the guest experience more comfortable and convenient.

Host was excellent and very communicative and available. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable, and the house was well stocked with kitchen supplies and bedding and games snd TVs. Everything is well labeled, too. The outside of the building is a little worn, but inside is cozy.

Our stay here was nothing short of unforgettable! We spent several days with friends and instantly fell in love with this home. The rooftop deck was absolutely breathtaking—watching the Sandia Mountains blush pink at sunrise and sunset felt like pure magic. Every corner of the house is filled with charm, from Spanish crosses and flamenco photos to colorful tiles and unique artwork that tell a story. We spent lively evenings playing Jenga and cornhole on the spacious covered patio, barbecuing together, and sharing laughs late into the night. Mornings were peaceful with coffee in hand, soaking in serene mountain views. The spa-like shower was heavenly, and the hidden sliding door to the master bedroom was such a delightful surprise! Perfectly located near all the best of Albuquerque, this home was the ideal blend of comfort, style, and unforgettable character. Highly recommend! Our host Sarah was courteous, kind and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay.

Absolutely great property and host! Would definitely stay again. A few things to note that would have otherwise pushed me to a 5 star. Upon arrival, it was a heatwave here in ABQ, and it was clear that the AC has been off for sometime. When we entered the home it was 91 degrees inside according to the thermostat. After turning them on it didn't not reach any temp below 75 until around 7am the next morning. Having them turned on even 2 hours before we arrived would have made a world of difference. The only other thing to note were problems with ants, which brought to the host's attention and they were attentive to the matter, if not for the temp inside the home I would have foregone the ants and given 5 stars.

I also appreciate your feedback regarding the home’s temperature upon arrival. I understand how uncomfortable it can be to arrive during a heatwave before the home has had time to cool down. I typically encourage guests to let me know their estimated arrival time, as I’m happy to turn on the air conditioning in advance so the home is comfortable when they arrive. I’m a proud New Mexico native and a graduate of the University of New Mexico, where I also attended graduate school. Dancing flamenco is one of my greatest passions, and you’ll see it reflected in the home—many of the photos on the walls are of my flamenco family from Flamenco Works, a vibrant dance studio located in downtown Albuquerque. The studio often hosts intimate flamenco shows, known as tablaos, that capture the energy and soul of the art form. Hosting brings me joy because it connects me with travelers from around the world, and as someone who loves to explore new places and experience different cultures, I know how meaningful it is to feel welcomed wherever you stay.
