We had a wonderful stay at Barb’s property - it is extremely cozy, well equipped, private and in a fantastic location! The hot tub and back yard is lovely and the beach is right across the street. Barb was a great host who left some very thoughtful personal touches for our honeymoon stay. Thank you Barb!

Our stay at Surf Shack was so perfect for my husband and I for our visit to Tofino. Across a small road from a beautiful beach , perfect for long walks, and a close drive to town. The cottage was cute, roomy and very private. Bed was very comfortable, kitchen well equipped with all the necessities.Private backyard patio with hot tub, a bonus ( although we didn’t use it). Very nice feature though! Met Barb our host as we were leaving and enjoyed chatting with her. Would highly recommend! Her dinner and lunch suggestions were very helpful. Loved lunch at Surfside grill and dinner at Shelter! Cool spot.

Perfect Location

My wife and I loved the cozy cabin for our stay in Tofino. The proximity to Chesterman beach was ideal, especially in the unpredictably rainy season. The Hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring in the rain.

False advertising

The place sucked. Major false advertising. The hot tub was broken. They tried to pin it on us big confrontation. The general property manager was not helpful. It also gave us a number to the old property manager, so we’re phoning around 500 different people to get an answer nobody showed up until Sunday morning as we were leaving to tell us that the pump has been broken for a while and nothing but animosity and crap from the host owner of the house.The company Verbo was outstanding. As soon as I had issues with the host, Verbo was instantly in communication with me and I felt safe and secure with my financial information with Verbo. The fact there is a third-party between myself and the host that is in control of the financial information is a big relief because I felt this host Would try to charge me with artificial charges and try to get me to pay for the hot tub.150% I would use Verbo again, but I would stay clear of this host and this property because it was nonstop issues and confrontations

Surf Shack

We enjoyed our stay at the Surf Shack. It is just steps from access to Chesterman Beach and ten minutes from the town of Tofino. The shack was anything but, in fact a nice cottage that was fully equipped with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the tot tub. We recommend the Surf Shack.

Perfect base to explore Tofino!

Stayed 4 nights at the Surf Shack; could have easily have stayed longer. The grounds were beautiful and the beach access extremely close. Also, the hot tub was the perfect way to end the day after hiking, kayaking, and exploring!

Lovely, Private, and Excellent Location

Aside from the low ceiling in the bedroom (my partner is 6'5" and had to duck a little!), our stay was awesome. The private garden, outdoor shower, hot tub, and songbirds made our stay special. Beach access is right across the street, and the bed was comfortable. All amenities were available including extra soft blankets and hot tub shoes. :) The host was attentive but in no way overbearing. I really hope I can come back some time!!
