The only issue we had was the parking in the back of the property. There are signs telling you to register your vehicle or it will be towed. Turns out there is no towing. That was unclear in the check in instructions. Other than that it was super clean and quiet.

My 18 year went to stay here and the back gate is broken. Which in the directions it says to park in the back! There is a liquor store right there and tons of homeless people were inside the back gate! My son is not small. 6’4 and 230lbs! And when he calls and says I’m scared to get out of my car I believe him! I reached out to the host… the host was so rude with their words and condescending! Highly do NOT recommend renting from them!

It’s important to us that our guests feel safe and comfortable, and I can understand how concerning the situation with the back gate and the surrounding area must have been for both of you. We truly appreciate you bringing the gate to our attention, the gate was not broken it was just open at the time and you had the option to also park in the front of the building and enter through that way as well. We’ve had multiple guest stay and never had any issues and we’ll make it a priority to address that immediately. As for your experience with the host, I sincerely apologize if their response felt rude or condescending; that’s certainly not the level of service we strive for. Your concerns are invaluable to us, and we’re committed to making improvements.

The apartment was a great size for two people. It was close to downtown Dallas with easy, direct access only minutes away from where we were attending a concert. It was also easy to navigate to other areas of town from the location, which was also near several chain restaurants for quick meals as needed. The apartment was very clean, and it had many kitchen accessories should we have needed them. The shower was great in a surprisingly large bathroom. The towels were big and soft, which was nice. The bed was comfy with plenty of pillows.Instructions on access to the building and apartment were clear and helpful. Checkout was very simple - turn out the lights and lock the door. If I was traveling alone or with one other person, I'd definitely consider staying again.The only thing I didn't give a 5-star on was the cleanliness, and it wasn't the apartment itself but rather the outside of the building. Trash was located outside the building where it seemed evident people hang out at. There was also an odd smell outside and at the back entrance, which may have been the reason for all of the air fresheners in the apartment. We had to turn them off during our stay because they were a bit overwhelming. But even after we did that, the odors from outside and the entrance didn't reach us. I'm not sure how much control the host has over that situation, however, as the apartment building seems to have regular tenants as well.
