This little house was perfect for me and my husband. It was very neat and tidy and they provided everything we needed. The balcony was set up to where my husband and i could do a little studying in the early mornings and at night we would sit and just listen to the insects. It was soooo peaceful. The Host was absolutely amazing!!! They knew it was our 18th wedding anniversary and left us a sweet gift as a loving gesture. Also, whatever we needed, my husband was able to communicate that to the Host and he came over right away!! We will definitely stay here again if we are in Austin. If they are adding to the house, we will bring our kids next time!!!

Short stay

Stayed for 4 nights while visiting Austin/Hill Country. Good location between the two. Very clean and nice with good facilities. Would stay again.

Great staycation

It is a cute bungalow and close to activities. It does not have a lake view or access, but that's only bc the lake is so low. Easy walk to see the lake though.

Perfect quiet spot!

Came for an event in Austin but wanting to stay outside the city. Short walk to the marina and restaurant. It was perfect and quiet. Hosts are very welcoming and accommodating. Would stay again if coming back to the area.

Great, clean home.

The home was clean and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We got in a little late in the evening and did not have the typical check in. The owner advised via VRBO that they would walk us through the property to locate the entrance to the lake through the back and that we needed to sign waivers and provide at time of walk through. They asked if we preferred to get the walk through done the following morning as we were getting in late. I replied that we would like the walk through the following morning. The owner never replied after that or provided the walk through. We ended up not using their waterfront access since we did not know if they would allow as we did not receive said walk through or provide signed waivers. We would have liked to experience the waterfront entrance. But overall it was a good stay.

Perfect little getaway

The house was wonderfully updated with all the basics you need. The back patio also has plenty of room for us to store our bikes. Cozy spot with great access to the lake by owner's private dock and outdoor space. Photos don't give enough credit for all of the amenities! We were able to kayak and enjoy time on the beautiful lake because of the great options the owner has available. The owner was super helpful with the check in process and showing us around. I'm keeping my eye on this spot to come back again! Thank you Jon for allowing us to use your home for a great weekend.

Lake Travis/ Austin getaway

We had a great stay while visiting the Austin and surrounding area. The property was quite and well maintained. We really enjoyed the views from the owners property and wished we had more down time to spend down there. The screened in porch with the hammock was the perfect place to unwind after a day out. There are several restaurants, shopping, and grocery nearby too. It was a great place for us to use as a home base but could definitely see just spending time at the cabin too.

Perfect home to getaway

This place was perfect, everything I needed to feel like I was at home while I waited to close on my new place. The owner was incredibly nice and accomodating (she lives next door)! Her partner Jon was also a big help as I was new to the area and needed some guidance from time to time. Don't hesitate when booking this place, it's really a great find!

Nice location, great accommodations

This cottage is just close enough to Austin, but far enough away to make you feel relaxed. We saw a deer and a bobcat nearby! The owners have thought of everything, and were easy to get ahold of. The bed was very comfy, and it was nice to have a dishwasher and washer/dryer available. We used the screen porch quite a lot. All in all, a wonderful place and location!

Great for quick getaway

My husband and I really enjoyed a quick getaway in this cute little rental. It’s great for fishing, hiking, and kayaking. The kitchen and living room are spacious with plenty of space for cooking. The owners are also very accommodating. The only issue we had was that we couldn’t get hot water working during our stay.

Great Lake Getaway

This was a great location for us. We wanted a place to relax that was going to be easy for us to meet our friends that live in the area. It was perfect for everything we wanted to do. We had good access to the lake and had a great time with our kayak. Would recommend for 1-2 people to enjoy.

I will be back

This is the perfect hideaway for a couple looking for a romantic and quiet getaway. Our hosts Rachel and Jon were absolutely amazing people. Very gracious and friendly hosts. We loved the Bungalow. Very clean, well equipped to accommodate all of our needs and reasonably close to all of the venues we wanted to see while in town. We will Absolutely be back for a longer stay next time.

Hill Country Getaway Close to Everything

This property is walking distance to a dock and darling lakeside restaurant. It is also a short drive to hiking trails, galleria shopping, restaurants and more. The owners appear to have completely remodeled the interior - the kitchen looks amazing, the bathroom is all new, the patio furniture and lighting was tasteful & fun. I was really pleased with the modern feel of the place. The only little nit was why that faded looking denim cover on the coach? Though that was no biggie. I brought hiking clothing and shoes, and that came handy because there are critters out there given close proximity to the lake. The neighborhood is eclectic and charming. I enjoyed my morning strolls there. I highly recommend this location and in fact tried to extend my stay (but was unable to due to other bookings). Thank you to the hosts for a great getaway!
