I was born in Texas and raised in Louisiana. I moved to South Plaquemines when I turned 13. My husband and I are retired owner operator truck drivers. We are retired volunteer firemen and I’m also retired paid fire. Our children, grandchildren and great children are our greatest joys. We love fishing for redfish etc.
Why they chose this property
We lived in the area for a long time and bought the land in 2010 and built our life back up from Katrina. We love our area because of the peacefulness we have there and who can beat being fishing in 2 - 10 minutes. Short trips we go in the back in Yellow Cotton. Longer trips we go out of the Venice Marina and head out. The bayou is one of my favorite places to talk to God.
What makes this property unique
Our property has at least 1’ of rock from prior businesses. There is plenty of room to pull in with a big boat and go turn around. There is a water hose at the right side of the camp. A hook up if you need to plug your boat up. We have on site washer and dryer in our big shed. A full size sink and cleaning board for fish cleaning. There is also an alligator in the canal in the back that loves the scraps. But be careful of them and snakes. Enjoy your evenings or mornings watching the rabbits in the back.
