Casita Serena - Beautiful, Private, and Serene

Located in north Phoenix this beautifully appointed 2 bedroom/1 bath casita is 12 minutes from downtown Phoenix and the airport in a vibrant community that boast a wide variety of locally owned businesses, restaurants and coffee shops.

It is a five minute walk to the Phoenix Mountain Preserve with beautiful hiking trails. Or just relax in the retreat-like backyard that features pool, spa, and multiple sitting areas.

The casita has its own small private outside space as well as the shared oasis backyard.

Equipped kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, coffee/tea maker, and ice maker.

There is no-smoking inside the Casita, but plenty of spaces outside. Any parties or events for more than 8 people must be pre-approved. No lifeguard on duty. Use of the pool and spa is at your own risk. STR Registration Certificate #2020-175. Permit # STR-2024-002932

What a lovely casita. In a great location. Elegant and cozy, generously appointed with the best beds, art, snacks, patios and pools. And the hospitality was warm and welcoming to my son and his wife, and me. Exceeded expectations. Perfect way to kick off the holidays.

Beautiful, relaxing, and convenient location

We stayed 4 nights, and throughly enjoyed the stunning back yard and pool area, as well as the cute and comfortable casita. Charles was an excellent and responsive host, that made us feel welcome and at home. The location is so convenient for traveling back into Phoenix, Scottsdale, or up north to Sedona. There is some traffic noise, but the incredible crystal waterfall pouring into the pool masks most of the noise. The landscaping is lovely, and attracted hummingbirds on the patio. The casita has multiple different private patios and lounge areas, but we spent most of our time in the shared pool area. An incredibly relaxing space. I also really enjoyed being able to run down the street and access miles of trails at the Phoenix Mountain Preserve. Would 100% stay again if we return to the Phoenix area.

Outstanding Casita!

This beautiful casita was perfect for our 3-day business trip. The Casita absolutelu perfect in every way - it was clean, well decorated, had treats for us to munch on, the beds were super comfy, and it had alot of extras which was impressive! It was centrally located with easy access to highways along with being close to grocery stores, retaurants and much more. The back yard was gorgeous with a pool, waterfall, hot tub, BBQ grill, and plenty of seating areas. The owners - Charles and Fito - were friendly, professional and extremely helpful. We would highly recommend staying at this wonderful casista.

Amazing peaceful property!

This was a great easy experience. Charles was very communicative if we needed anything and came out to say hi a few times which we loved. They have a cat named Jet who was the second highlight of the trip (first being the hot tub). Will stay here again in a heartbeat! Anything you needed at your fingertips and very clean.

An absolute GEM!!!

Charles and Fito are such gracious, kind hosts; their property is stunningly beautiful, and there were a number of considerate amenities that made this such a special place to stay over the holidays. Very appreciative and definitely recommend!! Only regret: we were so packed in with plans that we had little time to enjoy the pool, waterfalls and hot tub!

BEST VRBO EXPERIENCE EVER⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Casita is possibly the best VRBO experience in the world! Mom & I met in the middle here and If we hadn’t had appointments for some pampering, we never would’ve left the Casita. It was that magical. The overhead rain shower was simply fabulous! The beds were more comfortable than my own at home and P I L L O W S YES!!! They even had extras!! They really thought of just about everything you would need with easy simple to understand instructions for everything . It was magnificent & of course our time chatting in the hot tub was priceless 💖 we will definitely be back!!

Spring training trip

Spring Training

The property was centrally located for the activities we had planned for the long weekend of spring training baseball. We took advantage of the pool and hot tub at the end of the day and appreciated the seclusion provided by the owners. We will stay here again!

Magical backyard ❤️

A great place to stay. Always a bit leery when you see such beautiful pictures on Vrbo, and wonder if they measure up and in this case it i did and all that and more! The indoors is beautifully and tastefully decorated. The outdoors/pool absolutely gorgeous. The beds were comfortable. The extra goodies, a special touch. We used the hot tub regularly and they were very accommodating. The host are wonderful. There is a very busy street on the backside of the property but they have done an excellent job in using the waterfalls in the pool to mask the noise. It absolutely was not a problem at all. If we come back to Phoenix, we will book it again!

Great Casita at a perfect location

This 2 bedroom casita was as great as advertised. The pool, waterfall, hot tub and plenty of room to lounge around. A huge grill for those who love to bbq. This casita is a must if you're coming to Phoenix. Your hosts Charles and Fito are the best!

An Oasis in the Desert

Charles and Fito were great hosts and were very accommodating. We really enjoyed the 8 nights we stayed at Casita Serena. It is an excellent choice for a home away from home. The pool area is like an Oasis and the Casita Serena is cozy. It has everything one would need for a get-away. It is located in a cul-de-sac within a nice community--the area made us feel safe as well. Restaurants and the mountains are very close to the property. We highly recommend Casita Serena.

Delightful Oasis

Casita Serena is a serene, peaceful and calming guesthouse. The beautifully decorated home has comfy beds, a cozy gas fireplace, luxurious towels/robes, delicious snacks and teas to welcome you, and the views are gorgeous! There is a pool/spa view from one bedroom and the living room, and a pretty patio view from the other bedroom. We loved relaxing in the hot tub, listening to the sounds of the waterfalls and the windchimes. Charles and Fito are wonderful hosts and they have a little slice of heaven in Phoenix!

Couldn't ask for more

The Casita was fabulous! we all enjoyed the pool area although the weather was cooler than normal we really enjoyed the hot tub, indoors there was everything we needed and more. The area is ideally suited for exploring the area around Phoenix and we hope to return in the future. Charles and Fito were friendly and helpful hosts who couln't do enough for us.We would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Golf and Baseball annual vacation

We arrived at the house and a cottage therewith connected. The cottage a nice two bedroom was our home for the week. Very clean and we had access to the outdoor grill, pool, Jacuzzi and sitting areas. Although Charles and Fito were not present for much of our stay their company was always welcome when the were. We had an enjoyable vacation and the cottage had much to do with that.

Wonderful stay at Casita Serena!

We spent an incredibly relaxing few days in Charles and Fito's casita. The space is even better than the photos, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the rain shower is luxurious, and we thoroughly enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor space. They have thought of everything from the welcome snacks to the ice maker. One of our favorite VRBOs! Thank you!
