Ridgehaven is a peaceful, secluded cabin on 40 beautiful wooded acres

Our cabin is located on 40 wooded acres and sits at the end of a dead end road in Vernon County, WI. It is a short distance to the Mississippi River (10 minutes), 10 minutes to Viroqua and 30 minutes to LaCrosse, WI. It's perfect for hunters, fishermen, hikers,and families. It's beautiful view overlooks Newton Valley. Our property is close to numerous trout streams and has plenty of surrounding public land for hunting and other outdoor activities.

Great location for our stay while our boys fished the BassNation tournament out of La Crosse. Plenty of boat & truck parking. Loved having a airfryer & crockpot available. Also there was a really good butcher just down the road.

Quiet Getaway

2nd time staying at this property and it was even better. The owner's did some nice upgrades and even left us some nice complimentary snacks and firewood to enjoy our evenings. The setting is extremely private and quiet, exactly what we were in need of.

Peaceful getaway

We were looking for a long weekend to get away from everything. Ridgehaven was exactly as described. We were able to relax and enjoy nature. Very cozy place to getaway and recharge!!

The view is the best part! The house overlooks the valley and has a beautiful sunset each night. The house had enough space for everyone and everything we needed.

Weekend get away

Had a wonderful, relaxing weekend! The house was very clean and decorated very cute. There was wood for our bonfire and charcoal for the grill. Very comfy beds, what more could one ask for to make a perfect weekend! We would definitely stay here again!

Great Getaway

This property was clean, well maintained and the beds are so comfy! We booked this for the second time for our Friendsgiving weekend. The space is perfect for all of us and is very remote which truly makes it feel like a peaceful getaway. Jenny was great with communication and is a fantastic host to the property! We will certainly be booking for a 3rd year!

Girls Trip

We had a girl friends gathering. The rental worked perfectly. Spacious, clean, comfy living room seating, and cozy wood fire in the fireplace. Great for hours of chatting and games.

Genoa cabin

Property was very nice. It was everything we hoped for. Was a challenge to find I initially as Google took us to a cornfield one road North for some reason. Not the host’s fault but could be easily fixed by contacting Google. We would stay there again.

Peace and quiet!

We had a group of five guys stay here for two nights on a fishing trip. Just as beautiful as advertised with great views with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets! Very clean inside with plenty of space to sleep and just relax. A little tight to maneuver multiple trucks with boat trailers. We saw coyotes in the back field along with turkeys and plenty of deer around. Very well stocked with items and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Location

We loved the location and the remoteness. A little scary to have a toddler at this location as there were lots of areas to fall down stair cases because they were open on the sides. There was also a lot of dead bugs noted throughout the house. This was not a normal amount of dead lady bugs and flys. I did some cleaning around the tub before allowing my kids to go in.

My family stayed here, as we were in the area for a wedding. The house cabin is nice, very clean, and nicely decorated. It is definitely secluded, but location is lovely. Jennifer was easy to communicate with, we really didn’t need anything, but she was quick to answer any questions I sent on the website.

We stayed at the cabin for 4 nights. The area was very peaceful and remote. We saw wildlife each morning. The cabin is very spacoius, way more room than we needed. It was nice to have though. One note for others is this residence is not in a location for a quick trip to the store or gas station so plan accordingly.

This is such a cute home and the property is beautiful. Sometimes cute equals just ok, but not in this case. It's just so cute.The back porch is amazing and we spent a lot of time out there. The porch faces west, so we saw a couple of beautiful sunsets.There are some minor cosmetic issues, but nothing that detracted from us enjoying our stay.Would absolutely stay again.

Piece of secluded quiet heaven

This rental was simply amazing! Pictures do not do it justice! Truly luxury accommodations, extremely cozy and comfortable, above and beyond just a secluded cabin in the woods. Weekend stay

Enjoyed a girls weekend here!! Property clean, beds comfy, spacious. Enjoyed the fire pit. We ventured into town to the farmers market( get a fry pie from the Amish vendors😋) had lunch at the Driftless cafe which is a farm to table establishment. Very good food! Visited Branches winery for wine tasting. This winery was recommended by several locals and did not disappoint. Overall great experience & highly recommend.
