The location was wonderful, but the house needs work! The mildew smell is overwhelming when you first arrive. The bathroom vents were green/black with mildew, and the kitchen and "wood" floors haven't been washed in weeks! The kitchen is classic 1970's and the dishes and pans were old and cheap. The entire house needs a spruce up! We've been coming to Sea Pines for 15 years and other than the location being our favorite, this was the most disappointing property we've ever rented! I would not recommend this house to friend or foe until it undergoes a major revamp. The only thing it has going for it is the access to the beach.
We had a fantastic stay. Everything was as described and it's a great location. There's a walkway from the back deck down to the beach. The back deck was nice and had a grill and a nice view of the beach. We saw dolphins every day and they came up close to shore fairly often. We were all very pleased. Thanks
The facilities were exactly as represented. We had tons of space and the location was great. We cooked our breakfasts and lunches and went out to wonderful dinners. We had deer sightings in the backyard and gorgeous sunsets.
This was our first time to stay in this home, but definitely not our last! The best part of this house is the spectacular view of the beach with all the beautiful pine trees lining it! We loved getting up in the morning seeing that view and enjoying our breakfasts on the porch! We loved it and have already booked it again for next year!
