GREEN COTTAGE is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom standalone house with a private garden. Unlike a condo, you will not have to deal with neighbors above or below. It is professionally decorated and fully renovated. Located on Cannon Street in the design district of Downtown Charleston, it is a short walk from popular restaurants and bars including two James Beard recipient restaurants. Enjoy some of Charleston's best local dining with Hominy Grill, Lana, Two Boroughs Larder, Five Loaves, The Grocery, and The Ordinary, all located within 3 blocks of the cottage. For a morning sweet treat try Wildflower Bakery or Sugar Bakeshop just steps away.
We require a two night minimum stay Monday-Wednesday and a three night minimum stay Thursday-Sunday.
The cottage has hardwood floors, two historic fireplaces (non-working for your safety), high ceilings, wonderful natural light, high definition television, pull out sofa bed, washer dryer, and a charming porch and courtyard. Green Cottage is adjacent to Blue Cottage. Please see other listing link #464919.
Linens and towels are included. Household items/appliances include microwave, coffee grinder, coffee maker, high def TV, gas range and electric oven, LeCreuset cookware, fridge, disposal, ice maker, pop-up toaster, tea kettle, iPod Player/Speaker, hairdryer, iron & small ironing board, dishes, coffee, toilet paper, paper towels, soap.
We require a three night minimum stay Thursday-Sunday.
Check In is 3:00 pm and Check Out is 11:00 am.
Green Cottage has one designated off street parking spot.

Beautiful cottage in great location
This was our second stay at this property. We were evacuated from Florida during hurricane Irma and reached out to the owner to see if, at last minute, we could stay here again. There were literally no hotels in Flordia, Georgia or South Carolina that we could find on short notice. The owner, who was vacationing in Barcelona, made it happen. Gave us a great rate, waived check in/check out constraints. Was a miracle. Cannot say enough about this place and its owners and managers.
Excellent Getaway Cottage
I have to preface this by saying we came into Charleston for a short stay to view the solar eclipse. Along with a bazillion other people. Every room in the city was booked - so that provides context.
When we arrived the room was not ready - the cleaning services people were clearly overwhelmed with the volume. However, our hosts got on the issue right away and made things happen, which they did, while also making an adjustment for our minor discomfort. They stopped by later to ensure all was well, which it was.
The cottage is really lovely, located on a quiet street yet near to King St. and all the good restaurants and bars in the area. Virtually everything is within walking distance.
The cottage itself is very nice and clean. High ceilings, plenty of light with a small backyard and picnic table if you care to sit outside. Nice kitchen and living area. The bed was very comfortable and again, the neighborhood is quiet so it's easy to rest. There are two full baths and both are quite nice. We were exceedingly comfortable.
We would recommend this place to anyone!!!
Wonderful weekend in the perfect home
We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend with six girls total. It was the perfect amount of space and we absolutely loved the outdoor area too. I would love to come back and stay again! Checking in and out was VERY easy too!

Our stay at Jasper Cottage, Charleston, SC
Jasper Cottage is a two-story, stand-alone dwelling, behind the house that fronts Jasper Street. The neighboring residences are separated by small courtyards. It is within easy walking distance of King Street---at a "good pace" we were able to walk from the cottage into the downtown/historic district in less than 30 minutes. The living and kitchen area is one large room, adequately furnished: sofa-sleeper, large footstool (serving as a coffee table), two armchairs, and a wide-screen TV, kitchen table/4 chairs, and a walk-around island (as shown in the online pictures). The kitchen is equipped with a full-size refrigerator, 4-burner stove/oven, and the kitchen sink, counters, and microwave oven are in the island. The kitchen is stocked with a limited set of dishes and cooking items, utensils/sharp knives, and has a coffee maker and toaster. (For guests considering a longer stay, note that there is no dishwasher [which we did not consider a detriment].) The powder room is up three steps from the living area. The two bedrooms on the second floor are accommodating (although for guests considering a longer stay, do note that there are no bureaus or chest of drawers in either bedroom). Each bedroom has a private bathroom (both include step-in showers, neither of which has a shower seat or grab rails, which would have been welcome, and neither bathroom has any counter space for personal items, which also would have been welcome). The beds are exceptionally comfortable, as are the pillows (which we consider a huge plus). The AC/Heating thermostat is on the 2nd floor. The cottage is supplied with soap (kitchen, bathroom, and W/D) and towels (kitchen and bathroom). The off-street parking space is quite small (we had a full-size SUV and it "just fit" in the space, so passengers got out before the vehicle was pulled into the space). The property manager, Meg, is friendly and accommodated a special request. She also answered several email questions (prior to our arrival) and in every communication she was friendly and eager to make our stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. Jasper Cottage is perfect for 4-6 adults who want to enjoy having a private place to stay (rather than booking into a hotel). In general, we were well pleased with the cottage, found everything to be as advertised, and considered it worth the rental fee.
Great house - exactly as advertised
Great stay. Very clean. Perfect for walking to bars and restaurants. Great spot to park and see Charleston.
Located in charming, historic and lively neighborhood. Car not necessary but recommended to see attractions outside of town: Sillivans Island, Magnolia Plantation, Drayton Hall, etc.

Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date are subject to a 5% cancellation fee or $50 whichever is greater. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, or that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. You may choose to purchase travel insurance separately. HURRICANE OR STORM POLICY: No refunds will be given, we highly recommend you purchase travel insurance. TRAVEL INSURANCE: We highly recommend your purchase travel insurance. Rate is based on payment via check transfer or credit card. 2.5% credit card fee applies. This fee will be deducted from your security deposit.
