About Greg Matthews
As our family grows, so does our passion for forging memories at the Lake. Since 2001, the year I met my wife, we've been coming to Priest Lake to spend a week with family and friends. It has now turned into a tradition which marks the pinnacle of every summer.
Greg Matthews purchased this Cabin in 2013
Why Greg Matthews chose Coolin
My most memorable times growing up as a child were the summers on the lake with family and friends. So, in the spirit of making memories for our children, we chose to buy a place of our own to ensure the tradition is carried on. I have no doubt, this will leave a lasting impression on our kids, our family, and our friends, as it did for me.

Beautiful site and amazing view, but not kept up.
I wanted to write a good review for this property and my comments may be mitigated slightly by the fact that we arrived after Labor Day, at the end of a long hot summer. The owner said there was no maid service, however we interpreted that to mean that there would be no service during our stay. The sheets had been changed and there were fresh towels, but that's where the upkeep ended. As far as we could tell, there had been no other cleaning for months. The bathroom sink was dirty and clogged. All the lights in the bathroom were burned out except one and we could not find replacements. The stove was so dirty one of the burners caught fire. The floors were filthy and there was no detergent to wash the bath mats. We tried to mop the floors but the only mop had a broken head. The fireplace was so filled with ashes that we were afraid to light a fire. And on it went.... We were four women and so we went to work vacuuming, cleaning surfaces, washing floors with paper towels, etc. And then we enjoyed the lovely dock, the BBQ, and the amazing view. My written comments to the owner were met with silence.
Perfect Retreat For Families and Friends - We'll Be Back!
Great communication with Greg throughout the entire booking. He was available and helpful with any needs. The location of the cabin is awesome - paved road right up to the driveway, within a mile boat ride of the state park, centered around all Priest Lake has to offer, and looking directly West at those spectacular sunsets. With 2 separate cabins it's a perfect setup for multiple families or a group of friends. We will definitely book this again - Thanks!
Loved Loved Loved our stay at this wonderful house and did not want to go home!
Greg and family, thank you for sharing your wonderful Priest Lake home with us. The weather was perfect and we loved hanging on the dock and deck and morning coffee in the living room. There was plenty of room in the house and bunk house and the house has everything and then some. We used the canoe to go out and watch the solar eclipse too. Thank you again!
The dock was incredible, the owners were helpful and accommodating, and the cabin/deck space was perfect for our large group.
Loved it!!! Great cabin and bunk house and great spot on the lake!
It was a perfect place for our two families to spend the week!
What a View!
We have been going to Priest Lake for the past 40 years and this is the 1st time we stayed at this house. All I can say is WOW - what a wonderful house with a gorgeous view and great location. We really liked the bunkhouse because that is where the late sleepers stayed. We didn’t mind the stairs.
The kitchen was well equipped and the deck was perfect for barbequing. We had plenty of room in the living room and the dining table was perfect for playing games. There is lots of room for a 3 generation family. My teenage grand daughters were very happy that we had internet.
We brought our boat so we loved the dock and spent most of our time there and our 3 year old loved the beach front.
