Overview

About the property

4 Bedroom / 2 Bath Cabin With Lakeviews

Our lakefront home is located on Faubush Creek on Lake Cumberland (just across the lake from Conley Bottom Marina and very near to Wolf Creek Marina) and is in the Clearwater Subdivision. It features approx. 2000 square feet plus both covered and open air decking.

Our home features four bedrooms (five queen-size beds and two adult size twins (bunkbeds) and two bathrooms (one with bathtub/shower and one with shower).

The two-story house features a gas fireplace with stone surround and a fantastic view of the lake.

Relax on the front covered porch featuring a two seater bench and swing or, opt for the 3/4 wrap around deck overlooking the lake with outdoor lighting and speakers.

The master bedroom is located on the main level and has sliding doors leading on to the rear deck. Upstairs has two further bedrooms in an open concept plan although one of the bedrooms is a bit more private – this room has a queen size bed and closet. The other bedroom upstairs contains two queen size beds, full bathroom, closet and another deck. These upstairs bedrooms are open concept and do not have doors. Accessible either via the side deck stairs or out the front door and around the house is another private bedroom with a queen size bed, bunk beds (large enough for adults) with a couch and TV/DVD player. Our family uses this as the Kid's Cave but we've had visitors who've used it for a family of 4 with the adults in the queen size bed and the two children in the bunk beds. This room has the best views of the lake!

There is a large collection of games and cards for evening entertainment.

Our home is within walking distance of the boat ramp, however, some will find it difficult to walk back up the boat ramp as this is quite steep. It is also possible to drive and park your car at the boat ramp. We have a large driveway available for boat/jet ski and multiple car parking. It is very easy to park your boat in our driveway and move it back and forth to the boat ramp or give us a call to see if a boat slip is available. The boat slip is shared between two houses so make sure to check for availability. Please note that any size pontoon rented from a marina is not allowed at our boat dock since they are too large. The steep decline of our neighborhood ramp would require a 4x4.

About Toni Dillon

Hello! My name is Toni Dillon and I'm originally from Louisville, KY. My family and I spent nearly every summer at Lake Cumberland with friends - it's where I learned to water ski at the age of 8 and where I knew I wanted to have a family vacation home and eventually retire to one day. I'm living in England now but we come back to Lake Cumberland every summer for 3 weeks to spend time with family - the cabin is where my husband and I were married 3 years ago - on the back deck overlooking the lake! We're making memories for our children there just like my parents did for my siblings and I. I'm happy to open up our home so that your family can create lasting memories here as well! I hope you enjoy your stay and I look forward to hearing from you!

Toni Dillon purchased this cabin in 2008

Why Toni Dillon chose Lake Cumberland

When I decided to purchase a home on Lake Cumberland I had a picture in my head of exactly what I was looking for and I assumed it would take some time to find just the right place. I went to a website that specialized in lakes and when I typed in 'Lake Cumberland' this house was literally the first one listed. I knew immediately this was the place for me.

What makes this cabin unique

It is completely surrounded by trees and has the most gorgeous year round views of the lake. I'm a big fan of gravel roads and driveways and it may sound strange but as soon as your car comes off of the paved road and onto the gravel road that leads to the cabin it just immediately puts you into a different frame of mind and you know it's time to relax and enjoy yourself.

Clean, cozy, perfect atmosphere for a Kentucky Lake home!

  • 5 of 5

We truly enjoyed our family time and made some wonderful memories! We found the kitchen well stocked for our meals, plenty of seating for our large family, and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. It was nice to have a room downstairs away from everything else for our kiddos to sleep without us feeling the need to be "quiet" after bedtime. And thank you for the wifi access! It helped with researching local attractions.

We were pleasantly surprised at the easy access to town, the marina, and the fun little swimming beach at Pulaski County Park. The grocery store and Dollar General in Nancy are well supplied (which was great for our emergency diaper run into town)! The lake offers so many fun areas to explore by boat and the water is beautiful and clear. Make sure you bring plenty of bug spray as this is prime mosquito territory :-)

Thank you Toni and family for sharing your fun lake home with us and making sure we had the best experience possible!

It was our first family vacation together and the cabin was the perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the cabin and especially loved the deck. The kitchen is very well stocked with any dishes you would need as well as paper towels and trash bags. We were also very happy with how comfortable the beds were! The only thing we weren't expecting was how steep the boat ramp was. Property manager Bob was very nice and even offered to help us launch our boat.

We had a very nice time at this cabin.

The decks and fire pit were huge. It gave us plenty of space for our family of 9. You can see the water through the trees. Really beautiful!

Great family location and time

Great location that is close to one of the best coves at the lake. Conley Bottom boat rentals close by as well. Cabin well equipped and comfortable with wonderful decks to enjoy in the early morning. Very peaceful setting.

great getaway location

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was a perfect spot for our family. We had two adults and three teenagers. From dinner in the dining room on the bench seats, a viewing of "Into the Woods" on a rainy night, it was marvelous. Breakfast on the deck with the lake visible through the trees was also nice. We'll be back. Thanks Toni!

Welcome to beautiful Lake Cumberland, Kentucky - the vacation destination for millions of boaters, fishermen, and lake-lovers each year. We can introduce you to all Lake Cumberland has to offer whether it be romance and excitement, peace and tranquility, a family get-away, or just plain fun!

Lake Cumberland boasts many marinas providing boat rentals from fishing boats to state of the art houseboats; lake side restaurants, golf courses, nature trails, water falls and much more!

Guests to Lake Cumberland can take a scenic horseback ride, feed the trout at the Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery, or catch a play or musical production at the historic Star Theater.

Golfers can enjoy playing on our beautiful courses. The Lake Cumberland Golf Club at Lily Creek Resort and Lakewood Country Club are 18-hole championship courses with driving ranges and practice greens.

Enjoy fishing and ready to catch the big one? Lake Cumberland offers trophy-size stripers and hold the state records for brown and rainbow trout and walleye. For fly fishermen, the Cumberland River below Wolf Creek Dam offers some of the best trout fishing anywhere.

Take your time and browse through our many antique, craft, and specialty shops in downtown Russell Springs and Jamestown. You are guaranteed to find the perfect treasure.

Whether you are looking for a weekend get-away, week-long vacation, a Fall foliage tour, houseboat vacation, or racing across the lake, Lake Cumberland is the place to visit.

This area of Lake Cumberland is visited frequently by boaters and fisherman in the summer months, but I would also highly recommend it in the fall. The crowds thin out when the temperatures cool off, the lake is quiet and tranquil and it’s a time of year when the leaves turn brilliant shades of crimson, orange and yellow. The fall colors here are brilliant and the clear nights put on a star show like no other!
