About Don Morgan
I'm married to Phyllis, whom you see in my picture. I'm a psychologist, and was on the faculty of the Rutgers Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology for 20 years. These days, in addition to running this short-term rental apartment, I'm working on a house we just designed and built, building furniture, playing music and doing photography. We are experienced world travelers and have been guests at many Airbnb's and VRBO's. We are also hosts of our beautiful Airbnb/VRBO apartment in Saint Louis' historic Benton Park neighborhood. We enjoy both sides of the Airbnb/VRBO experience and look forward to meeting you either as our guest or when we travel and are guests
Don Morgan purchased this apartment in 2017
Why Don Morgan chose Benton Park
We bought this property from our friends who had renovated it beautifully and run it as an Airbnb/Homeaway rental for a couple of years. I enjoy fixing up houses and also enjoy meeting people and helping them have a good time when visiting Saint Louis, so this was a perfect match for me. I'm a transplant from New York City/Jersey City area and I now love living in Saint Louis and sharing its many great aspects with people. This part of the city -Benton Park and Soulard -is a vibrant, homey, neighborhood with lots of creative interesting people. We have some of the best bars and restaurants in the city - from quirky dive bars with cheap drinks to top-end craft cocktails and gourmet food, plus live music, art galleries, Cardinals and Blues games, antiques, the Anheuser Busch brewery tours, Soulard Market, and plenty of history. So Saint Louis is becoming a cool destination for people to visit for fun and it is all nearby!
What makes this apartment unique
If you are in town for business, family, romantic getaway, or a ballgame, this first floor unit is equipped with all the essentials needed for a home-away-from-home experience. You will have two TV's, WIFI, and a fully equipped-for-cooking kitchen. Dining room table fits 6. You have a washer and dryer and central air conditioning. In addition to the large bedroom with queen-size bed there is a smaller bedroom with a full-size bed. Living room also has a sofa with a pull-out bed. We just ask that you don't plan parties or invite groups, and be mindful of making noise after 10pm, as we have long term tenants living upstairs and the noise travels upstairs very easily. If this is what your group wants, there are plenty of great party apartments available in nearby Soulard.
