Entire, private, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with a 1970s retro aesthetic. Less than 2 miles from I-20, yet the home feels like it is in the country due to its large, beautiful yard. A full kitchen is available as well as items necessary for small children such as a highchair, pack-and-play, and stroller.

Uniquely decorated home with a 70s retro-style. Three bedrooms, two baths, all available for guests. Includes WiFi and more.

Master bedroom has its own bathroom and includes a Queen size bed, a large closet, and a chest of drawers. An alarm clock, iron, and ironing board are available for use. The bathroom has a bath/shower combination with double sinks. Towels and other toiletries available.

Guest bedroom has a full size bed with a night stand, lamp, and full linen set; it would sleep two.

Second guest bedroom has a twin bed with a night stand, lamp, and full linen set; it would sleep one. There is a air mattress with pump available in chest of drawers in this room.

Pack and play, stroller, and high chair available in Master bedroom closet.

Game room has many vintage games in cabinets including Aggravation, Quadominoes, Dominoes, Scrabble, Checkers, Backgammon, cards, puzzles, and much more.

Dining room table can sit six. The leaf for the table is in the hall closet.

Bathroom in the hallway is a full bath with a double sink and bath/shower combination.

Cute, retro living room has a large TV with sling . Chromecast is available for mirroring devices including laptops, cell phones, and tablets to play various applications such as YouTube and Netflix.

Full kitchen with toaster, electric stove, oven, blender, microwave, refrigerator, cooking utensils, pots and pans.

Washer and dryer with detergent and dryer sheets.

Outdoor areas include a front porch, back screened-in porch, and outdoor seating area.

Please do NOT use the fireplace!

Excellent communication from Valerie. The location itself is well maintained and very clean. Yes, everything is authentically from the 70s and 80s so it’s old, but so well cared for. The best stocked kitchen in any of my travels - you can cook, bake, and make your family whatever they want with plenty of pots, pans, mixing bowls and serving dishes. Valerie left us some fruit and water which was super sweet. Hot water does need to heat up of you’ve got 2 people getting ready at once. If you have a large family, just be prepared to stagger showers. Not a big deal at all.It was only 15 mins from downtown Augusta and about 1.5 hours from Athens where our group had an event for the day. 10/10 - will definitely book again next time we have to be that area. Thanks for a great stay!

This home is really nice and the host is wonderful. Quiet home away from home. Everything you need. The retro look was amazing and we enjoyed the decor. Reminded us of our childhood! Hello! My name is Valerie McKagen and I have been a resident of the Central Savannah River Area for over 30 years. I live on a quiet road in Columbia County, the same road in which you will be staying on should you decide to rent from me. It's a beautiful area, convenient, yet quiet. It's right in the middle of everything, but feels like you're in the country! I have a passion for dogs, specifically Belgian Sheepdogs. As you can tell from my picture, I own a show them. I enjoy gardening, playing Pokemon (yes, believe it or not), spending time with family, and caring for my dogs.

Why they chose this property

If you need a place that's convenient to I-20 and all that the CSRA offers, yet would like some peace and quiet, this home is for you. The yard is beautiful and huge. Sit on the front porch, or on the screened-in back porch and enjoy the countryside, forgetting that you're right in the middle of the city.

The home sleeps six and children are welcome.

What makes this property unique

This home is retro-styled. Groovy, right? However, that won't take away from the comfort it provides. Have the whole place to yourself and enjoy.
