Entire Home - Retro-style near I-20: City Access, Country Feel

Entire, private, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with a 1970s retro aesthetic. Less than 2 miles from I-20, yet the home feels like it is in the country due to its large, beautiful yard. A full kitchen is available as well as items necessary for small children such as a highchair, pack-and-play, and stroller.

Uniquely decorated home with a 70s retro-style. Three bedrooms, two baths, all available for guests. Includes WiFi and more.

Master bedroom has its own bathroom and includes a Queen size bed, a large closet, and a chest of drawers. An alarm clock, iron, and ironing board are available for use. The bathroom has a bath/shower combination with double sinks. Towels and other toiletries available.

Guest bedroom has a full size bed with a night stand, lamp, and full linen set; it would sleep two.

Second guest bedroom has a twin bed with a night stand, lamp, and full linen set; it would sleep one. There is a air mattress with pump available in chest of drawers in this room.

Pack and play, stroller, and high chair available in Master bedroom closet.

Game room has many vintage games in cabinets including Aggravation, Quadominoes, Dominoes, Scrabble, Checkers, Backgammon, cards, puzzles, and much more.

Dining room table can sit six. The leaf for the table is in the hall closet.

Bathroom in the hallway is a full bath with a double sink and bath/shower combination.

Cute, retro living room has a large TV with sling . Chromecast is available for mirroring devices including laptops, cell phones, and tablets to play various applications such as YouTube and Netflix.

Full kitchen with toaster, electric stove, oven, blender, microwave, refrigerator, cooking utensils, pots and pans.

Washer and dryer with detergent and dryer sheets.

Outdoor areas include a front porch, back screened-in porch, and outdoor seating area.

Please do NOT use the fireplace!
Smoking is ONLY allowed outside.

It was a lovely old home that was very clean. It is not a good fit for older people because there is no walk in shower.

The Retro house was extremely clean. We had everything that we needed. Both of us grew up in the 1970s, so the house brought back memories of those days. Very quiet like being in the country.

We came to town to participate in a ballroom dance competition and found this little gem while scrolling for options. This spot met our needs for more than a few reasons, besides the kitchy 70s vibe (ots what drew our attention to begin with). Before we even got there we had continual communications related to our needs such as an ealier check in due to the need for time for hair/makeup (for my wife, not me) and she was thoughtful enough to provide dark cloths for makeup removal. As we arrived we were glad to see that it was on a quiet road that was also a dead end. If you travel enough you can appreciate why this is very nice from a security and peace aspect. There was abundant space, it was very clean, and had ample equipment and suppllies for our needs. She even provided some fresh fruits and coffee supplies for us. If we return to this area for whatever reason, we know where to stay.

Awesome location. Very secure. Parking was great for boat trailers and access to receptacles for charging batteries was easy. Property owner very accommodating.

I stay all over the south east fishing tournaments and this is one of the most enjoyable places I’ve stayed might just be the best it’s not fancy but it made me feel at home and welcomed

This home is really nice and the host is wonderful. Quiet home away from home. Everything you need. The retro look was amazing and we enjoyed the decor. Reminded us of our childhood! Tje grounds are beautiful with planys and wildlife. Just a wonderful stay and we will go back here the next time we are in Augusta area. Two thumbs up and perfect 10!!

Nice Place

This was very convenient to the base. All items worked as they should and the home was clean. The screened back porch was an added benefit and very nice. This is not a professional property management company, which was fine. It was like staying at your auntie's house for a couple nights. Very comfortable. The retro feel almost makes you feel like a kid again! Great games and kind owner - lots provided as she is opening up a home, not just a house. Thank you for letting us stay with you!

Outstanding Accommodations, Wonderful Property

Our hostess Valerie was at the property when we arrived and she was very welcoming and gracious. The accommodations were outstanding, with all the amenities including a washer/dryer. Location was close to Augusta.

Family reunion

I absolutely loved this house. We have family very close by and wanted to not stay in a hotel. It was so spacious and perfect for our weekend trip. It brought back family memories of going to my father’s and grandparents homes. She is a fantastic host down to the smallest details. When you think southern hospitality this is the place. I would recommend this to anyone needing something in this area! We will be back in the future for more family events if it’s still an option.

Wonderful house and host

This was a delightful experience. Our host was always quick to respond to any questions we had. She also took the time to leave us some fresh fruit for when we checked in, which was happily devoured by our preschooler. The house was exactly as described/shown. The kitchen had lots of appliances, pans, dishes, and even spices for cooking. The beds were comfortable, and the AC kept us cool. The neighborhood is very quiet and close to several great restaurants. I highly recommend this house to anyone visiting the CSRA.

A hidden retro gem.

It literally reminds me of my old apartment in the '70s. Everything about the house and the nostalgia was perfect. If you're looking for modern and upbeat, keep looking. If you're looking for nostalgia and that retro feel, this is the place for you. Property is set back and quiet. Very peaceful setting. I would definitely stay here again.

Pure Nostalgia

We enjoyed our stay in Valerie’s home. It was conveniently located down the street from the high school where our daughters had their district track meet. The girls were comfortable every night and being able to cook definitely was a plus. Thank you Valerie for being so accommodating.

Hello! My name is Valerie McKagen and I have been a resident of the Central Savannah River Area for over 30 years. I live on a quiet road in Columbia County, the same road in which you will be staying on should you decide to rent from me. It's a beautiful area, convenient, yet quiet. It's right in the middle of everything, but feels like you're in the country! I have a passion for dogs, specifically Belgian Sheepdogs. As you can tell from my picture, I own a show them. I enjoy gardening, playing Pokemon (yes, believe it or not), spending time with family, and caring for my dogs.

If you need a place that's convenient to I-20 and all that the CSRA offers, yet would like some peace and quiet, this home is for you. The yard is beautiful and huge. Sit on the front porch, or on the screened-in back porch and enjoy the countryside, forgetting that you're right in the middle of the city.

The home sleeps six and children are welcome.
