About this property

Private bungalow in DFW

This is a large single room efficiency with kitchenette and full bathroom. It is separate from our home living space so there is privacy. Has it's own entrance and parking with a large wood deck outside the door.
Located just 10 mins. south of DFW airport and right next to the entertainment district in Arlington. Easy access to Dallas or Ft. Worth. Located in a quiet neighborhood with lots of trees.
There is a private gate entrance that you will have a code for and can come and go as you please without having to come through the main residence.
Neighborhood overview
Quiet older neighborhood with lots of trees and large lots. We are on a 1 acre lot and the studio is located in the back half acre.
Getting around
We are located near all the major highways central to the DFW metroplex and just minutes from the airport. Uber and taxi service is abundant if you are flying in.

Great stay!

We were in town for a Cowboys game and to connect with friends and family, this place was perfect. I really appreciated how quiet the neighborhood was. The owner has two dogs. I don’t recall that being mentioned in the ad. (Might have been) I would have appreciated knowing this info as we were traveling with our 15lb dog. A sign in the cottage with the dog names would be helpful, maybe even a couple of treats of their choice, so we could all get acquainted. The bed was comfy; Direct TV available; just enough space for two adults and a pup. I would definitely stay again.

Great long term stay!

My husband and I stayed at this cute bungalow while waiting on our new home to be completed. Very private and perfect for our 2 week stay. Clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Thank you Keith!! We truly enjoyed our stay!!

I dont even know where to begin on this review. Sherry and Keith were amazing people. they made sure i had everything i needed and more. I had my 8 year old son with me and they invited us over for dinner and a playdate with their grandchildren. I was very impressed with the hospitality, and pleased with the studio apt. It was small yet cozy, perfect space for a small family. Very nice neighbor hood and about 10 mins from Six Flags. I only wish i could have stayed longer. i have absolutely NO complaints about this stay. they deserve 10 stars because 5 just isnt enough!!!

Very bright, clean, updated, and super cute!

I was a long term renter (3 month stay). Sherry & Keith were GREAT! They are very kind, thoughtful, and considerate. Keith knew that I was a night shift nurse and even went as far as making foam board cut outs for the windows to make it pitch black in the studio for me to be able to sleep during the day. Keith & Sherry thought of everything. All of your basic needs are available. Hot plate, full size toaster over, microwave, fridge, covered parking, etc. I could go on & on.. I thoroughly enjoyed staying here! I have zero complaints! You will not regret renting from Keith & Sherry.

Great place!

I am a long term renter and this place has been perfect! Keith and Sherry are great, they have gone above and beyond in providing items in the bungalow that I didn’t even know I’d need! They literally thought of everything! The property is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, there is a private entrance and a secure electric gate that provides access to and from the private entrance. Everything inside the bungalow is so new and clean. It’s centrally located to everything you need grocery stores, the gym, restaurants, six flags and so much more! The owners were so kind and receptive to anything I asked or needed help with. This is definitely a good place to rent from great people. I extended my stay and will definitely recommend this spot to anyone visiting the metroplex!!!

We loved staying here. Sherry and Keith were great hosts. They gave us lots of tips about where and when to travel to different places. We were able to do some painting with them. This was our first time using VRBO. I will definitely do this again.

Childhood sweethearts and married 36 years. We have 3 adult children who have all married and so far given us 6 grandchildren. Keith retired 3 years ago after 30 years of service as a firefighter/ paramedic.

Why they chose this property

We purchased our home 24 years ago tucked away in this quiet older neighborhood. We loved the trees and and having an acre of land to raise our growing family. Close to walking trails and a park but many folks choose to walk the neighborhood because its so quiet. We have a large deck and patio furniture if you would like to sit outside and have your coffee or a drink. We have tried to think of everything for our guests comfort. If you forgot your toothbrush we have extras! The bathroom has a drawer full of soaps, shampoos and showercaps etc... also we have a hairdryer so you don't need to bring one. We have stayed in vacation rentals for years and have learned from our experiences. We know its important to be well stocked with the comforts of home. All linens and towels are provided as well as dish towels, dish soap, paper products, dishes and cookware. It is very private but we are just a phone call, text or short walk away!

What makes this property unique

The backyard bungalow is part of an add on. We decided to add a studio apartment to help accommodate our out of town relatives and family gatherings. We are centrally located to the At&T Stadium, Globelife Park, Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor. We are about 10 min from all of these. Not to mention DFW airport it 15 min away. We are situated 20 min from downtown FT. Worth and 15 min from downtown Dallas. Love Field Airport is 25 min from our doorstep.
