A Hidden Retreat In An Old-Florida Beach Town

Bedrooms 1
Space 450 sq. ft.
Property type condo
Minimum Stay 2 - 30 nights

About the property

1 Bdrm, 1 Bath Only Steps To The Pier And Beach

Wake up steps from the Atlantic and join the early-morning photographers waiting for the sunrise around the historic pier, then walk to breakfast at one of the beachside restaurants. In this charming and quiet 'Old Florida' condominium complex, you can park your car and leave it, or drive to larger cities along A1A, America's coastal highway.

You'll probably find you won't want to leave this little oasis. The quiet compound has only 11 units, all circling a lushly landscaped pool in the time-honored courtyard design of the tropics. It's a hidden retreat, reached through a gate on a quiet street. You won't need anything but your swimsuit and toothbrush: the full kitchen has all you'll need for family meals, and linens and small appliances are provided, too, along with cable television, wireless internet access, a fitness room with a sauna and a laundry room free for guests' use. If you'd like to sample the generous produce of the most fertile area on earth, visit the colorful and bustling Friday farmer's market two blocks away.

Flagler Beach has preserved many of the features of beach life that have been sacrificed to developers elsewhere along the coast. There are miles of dunes, public walking trails and parks. You'll find beach life also much as it was a half-century ago, revolving around families, fishing and surfing. There's a cultural life, too, with artists, wine shops, a well-stocked library and musical programs nearby, along with great seafood restaurants featuring the day's catch. Three nationally-published writers produce fiction and non-fiction from their base in the coffee shop across the street.

A well-maintained and comfortable apartment will welcome you at the end of the day, with a newly-installed quiet air-conditioning unit, a state-of-the-art microwave-convection oven and views of both the pool and the oceanfront.

lovely setting in the heart of town, we really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable and clean.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and fun restaurants and shops. The Condo was clean and it was great to have the laundry room included. The managers were very helpful and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed the many historic places to visit and learning more about the history of Flagler and surrounding areas. A great spot to stay.

Happy July 4th!

  • 5 of 5

Plaza Caribe is a great little secret hiding place in Flagler Beach!. Old Florida charm, great salt pool and friendly family atmosphere! The unit was clean, comfortably furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed for our week long stay. Ther property is a short walk to everything in Flagler. The parking is public street parking. We had no problems parking close to the private entrance at any time. Very quiet, very safe. Thanks for the opportunity to stay here! We will be back!

Over all a great place to stay just make sure the AC works in the unit ur staying in

  • 3 of 5

Loved the location and the pool. Our room was extremely hot in the bedroom. The little ac on the wall did not help much. The bedroom really needs a widndow ac unit or a better ac in the livingroom. It barely blew out cold air.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review! Glad that you loved the location, we definitely have one of the best in town! I will have to get the AC looked at as it should definitely be cold, especially in the middle of summer! Thank you for letting us know!
