This is a (100 m2) beautiful high end apartment right in the heart of Old Town, located on a beautiful and extraordinary street.

Nice apartment in . a great location

From the initial booking till we checked out, our hosts were excellent. They communicated with us and helped us arrange transportation from the airport. They checked in on us during the trip by texting us to make sure everything was going well. Check in was no problem. There was an issue with the apartment building and our hosts were over during the day and took care of everything before we returned - talk about service,. The apartment is on the 4th floor and there is no elevator. There is a nice jacuzzi bathtub, but no traditional shower. If you have an older person in the group the stairs may be an issue, and the bathtub may be as well, because it may be difficult for them to step over the edge to get in and out. We had five adults in our group and it we had a great stay. Would book again..

Beautiful, Comfortable, Best Location!

My son and I visited Riga over winter break (Dec 27- Jan 8th), and picked the best place to stay- this lovely 4th floor apartment located in Old Town Rīga. The apartment is owned by Zane (pronounced Zahn'ah) and her husband Arturs, and they were so kind and welcoming- even going so far to pick us up at the airport, which was very much appreciated, and showed us where the grocery store is (one block away!). It was such a wonderful way to begin our journey. Zane and Arturs live outside Rīga, but kept in touch with us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and were so kind and caring- it really set my mind at ease being in a country I haven't travelled in before. The apartment itself is gorgeous- very clean, tastefully decorated, and with lots of open space. Everything you need is there- very well-stocked kitchen and bath in terms of appliances and basic essentials. The apartment is quite toasty temperature wise too, which was wonderful after walking around in -3c weather, lol. Location wise, you really couldn't find a better place- it is within walking distance to everywhere. It's about a 5 minute walk to the Central Market, 5 minutes to Milda, 5 minutes to Blackheads- seriously, everything seemed to be about a 5 minute walk. There are maybe two things to be aware of that could be an issue for some visitors- it's on the 4th floor of a beautiful old building so no elevators. I'm not super in shape, and it was fine for me, but thought I should mention it. If you are carrying heavy luggage it could be a hassle- that said, it would be worth the hassle! Also, another thing to consider is the bath tub- it has tall walls (no shower stall) and could be tricky if you are elderly, but otherwise the bath is one of the best I've experienced as a traveler- pretty deluxe, in fact. If you are looking for a place to call home whilst in Rīga, I couldn't recommend another place more highly. Zane and Arturs have really thought of everything to make this place a delightful and pleasant home away from home. I am looking forward to staying here again one day!
