Bienvenido a Villa Soledad. Situado en una propiedad de 2200 metros cuadrados, en la hermosa comunidad llamada Lagos del Coyol. Muy cerca de las comunidades de La Garita y Atenas.

La casa está en una sola planta, tiene 3 dormitorios, 3 baños. Capacidad para 8 personas.

Los jardines son hermosos, el área del rancho proporciona el espacio perfecto, para relajarse y pasar una tarde relajada y disfrutar en familia o con amigos.

Cuenta con un hermoso rancho, piscina y un mini campo de fútbol sintético. Mire la galería de fotos y aprecie por qué nos enamoramos de Villa Soledad.

La cocina está equipada, para que puedan preparar sus comidas favoritas. Cuenta con una nevera de acero inoxidable. También cuenta con barra desayunadora y tenemos mesa para 6 personas.

La casa cuenta con Internet de alta velocidad, que permite a los huéspedes conectarse con sus familias o realizar ciertas tareas de trabajo mientras disfrutan de sus vacaciones. También cuenta con televisión por satélite, con muchos canales de entretenimiento, en las dos pantallas disponibles.

Las habitaciones son cómodas y tienen una con cama de matrimonio y las otras con camas de tamaño completo. También tenemos disponible un sofá cama que se puede utilizar si es necesario.

¿Qué tal hacer una barbacoa en la parrilla de gas en el área del rancho? Tenemos disponible una parrilla de gas, donde puede preparar sus platos favoritos a la parrilla.

Tendrá que disfrutar de la piscina, donde puede pasar grandes momentos y tomar un baño de sol, en esta zona de la Garita el sol es glorioso.

El área de La Garita tiene una ubicación privilegiada, está cerca de todas las maravillas que ofrece Costa Rica, como bosques tropicales, cascadas, volcanes, el Océano Pacífico, granjas de mariposas, plantaciones de café y mucho más. Es una zona segura con muchos restaurantes que ofrecen precios de Tico. También está muy cerca del área de Atenas, que ha sido nombrada por National Geographic por tener el mejor clima del mundo.

The place was beautiful and close to everything. There is a mini mart just around the corner and 20ish minutes to Walmart. There was all sorts of birds and wild life to watch out of the tall living room windows

Needs some updates

The owner of the property was very good about responding to questions and concerns quickly so that was really nice. Some of the problems we encountered were things that were out of his control for sure but still frustrating. There were a few nights that we were kept awake by numerous barking dogs in the neighborhood. The doors to the outside did not close tightly so we definitely had plenty of bugs/critters in the house. Geckos in particular can be loud which is funny because I never thought of them as being vocal animals. The showers had some issues but the handyman came a few times and managed to get them up and running again. I would recommend to the owner that the house needs some "brightening" and I plan on sending him a private message but overall our trip to Costa Rica was a success.

Belle maison, manque d'entretien, ne retournerions pas dans cet état

Belle maison, aménagement extérieur très bien. Ustensiles, vaisselle, chaudrons, petit four et cuisinière sales. Le four ne fonctionnait pas. Infiltration d'eau dans la petite chambre suite à une averse. Oreillers sales à changer. Siège de toilette non vissé.

3rd Visit to the Home

This was our 3rd visit to the home so we knew exactly what to expect. The owner did mention so upgrades so we were excited to see. While we have always loved this property, this stay was not as amazing as prior years. The washer was broken upon arrival and we were told it would be repaired on 2 different days and it never happened leaving us to wash out clothes in the sink for our week long stay. The listing states an oven and we leaned on Xmas even the oven does not work and to use the small toaster oven (not feasible for a family breakfast) so we attempted to use the grill. We then found it was only half functional and we had to go to town and buy a lighter to even light it. Half of the flames worked. The “upgraded” pillows on the couch had multiple holes in them leaving stuffing all over the place. There was a missing tv remote. The “updated” steps had pieces breaking off exposing screws and creating fall hazards. Generally I would speak with the owner and not list the review but sadly, the owner didn’t even apologize for the issues or try to remedy them…. Extremely disappointing that we loved this property, have stayed multiple times and recommended the place to family, and the owner was so indifferent that multiple items were wrong during our stay. We hope that things are repaired so future renters enjoy their stay more than we did during the week of Christmas.

Family vacation

We loved the location of the home and felt safe in the neighborhood. Our kids loved the property and were never bored, due to the amazing pool, pool table, and soccer field. It was a fabulous place and we will definitely recommend it to our friends.

A beautiful paradise away from the city

Check in was great as the host had someone meet us to show us around. From there we felt our privacy (gated property) and relaxation in the beautiful landscaping by pool or patios in the mornings and after a busy day of touring. It was a great location with traditional restaurants within a few miles and a small market on the corner for easy groceries/ snacks. We even one night walked to the corner bar and had a drink:). The kitchen could use some care in organization and supplies but after all, we weren’t really there to cook- but we did make breakfasts each morning in the kitchen and there was a nice, new and clean fridge! Beds were comfortable as well.

Almost Paradise

Views and yard were spectactular but there was trouble in paradise. The neighbors dogs barked often and sometimes through the night, their rooster started crowing at 3:00, the showers looked great but water came out of everywhere but the head, thelarge sliding glass door had a gap underneath and tons of bugs came in at night, appliances were old didn't work well.

DISAPPOINTMENTS

There were two issues that were not great about the property or stay there. One is that it had many termites and when you had lights on inside the property they were all over the place. Plus many ants inside the house at night. There was a shower problem and the maintenance person came in and fixed it somewhat...the water came out a little better but not great. Outside of those two issues it was a beautiful place and would consider staying there again if these issues were corrected.

Absolutely perfect

We rented this property while we wanted to visit Alajuela, San Jose and Poas/La Paz. It was a short drive to all these locations (less than 1h) so this house was perfect. It was a bit big for us as we were only 2 but the location was great. It is in a small, quiet neighborhood and there’s a market with everything you may need just down the road. It’s also close to ‘La Fiesta del Maiz’ which has great local food options for a really cheap price. If we were to go back in this area, we would probably rent this property again.

Peaceful & Recharging

This was our second stay at this property. It fits our family needs perfectly and is such a beautiful location. It would be great to see the kitchen faucet updated and a full set of pots and pans but otherwise we love the area and great communication with the owner and property manager. We look forward to returning next year!

Be open minded

The manager of this property or owner was awesome he did everything to make us feel home and what not. But the property isn't what the pictures project. We ran into more than a few issues that he was willing to deal with but my group was not. I would say if you're just looking to lay your head and go go go then you're fine but if you're looking to lounge at the property and get in the pool and enjoy the garden that didn't happen. Again this is nothing about the owner as he was awesome but this place is a 3 star at best if I am being honest like I wish someone would have been as we read the comments before.

Centrally Located but Private

We really enjoyed our stay. Having been to Costa Rica many times, we wanted to be located closer to San Jose instead of the Pacific Coast. We knew it was the rainy season but it only rained late in the day. In fact we had sun every morning until mid afternoon . It would be a great home for a family or group. Plenty of room and close to great restaurants and ease of shopping. Victor is a most gracious host and kept us informed of any projects or maintenance that was scheduled. We give the home 5 stars and will return on another trip to CR. Pure Vida!

Loved it!

Staying at this place was like having your own little resort! The property was very well kept. Beautiful landscaping and pool. Great for pics. The pictures they show you are right on! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend AND return to it!

A wonderful week

We shared the property with family and friends for the week. It was a perfect place to grill, swim and hangout after the past couple of years of being apart. The property was beautiful and very well maintained. Would definitely stay again.

Muy bien

Nos gusta mucho la propiedad, es muy linda, hay mucho que hacer (piscina, pool, futbol, etc.) Es tranquila. Es la segunda vez, que vamos. Solo un consejito, deben darle un poco más de mantenimiento a la casa en sí, sobretodo a los muebles (tienen comején) y se les puede dañar

My family of 5 (including small kids) had an amazing time. The property manager and grounds keeper were always a text away. Jason!! You are the best! Always showed up when I needed help with a question. We used the pool and soccer field on a daily bases. We used Luz on several occasions to cook for our family (delicious food, spread and they cleaned up all the dishes after) I guess the only thing I can complain about were the neighbors dogs. They barked all the time. But nonetheless the grounds are amazing! Thank you for such a great experience Victor!

Simple and beautiful

The property is beautiful, once you find it the first time it’s easy to get back to. Everyone from the property owner to the gardener was extremely nice and helpful. The only downside is the bathrooms, bring shower shoes and keep in mind it’s the rain forest. But other that that the pictures don’t lie it’s breathtaking.

Great little getaway spot

This is such a wonderful place to take the family, friends and have a chill time with lots of opportunities to have a little party around the pool area or the “ranchito” with the pool table and bbq set up. The unique and pleasant noise comes from the rare wild life all around us. Secluded from the city chaos but close enough to go visit. The wife and kids loved it. Thank you so much, we hope to come back soon!

AS I describe in the previous parts. The property is located in a very strategic area , very close from the Airport just 15 minutes away. The climate is one of the best of the Country. Very close from shopping places. One hour and a half away from the beach. 1.5 hours away from the volcanoes.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We can offer at a very reasonable price the service to be picked up at the Airport and delivered when You leave. The same person can take You to excursions any place while You are there, it is a van for twelve people with A. C., this in case You do not want to rent a car.
