Esta impresionante ubicación en el río Boardman en el lado sur de Traverse City simplemente te dejará sin aliento. Esta encantadora cabaña está ubicada en medio de un entorno natural con árboles y aves a su alrededor. Estás tan cerca del río que puedes escuchar el murmullo del agua mientras se mueve rápidamente alrededor de la curva. En invierno, disfrute de las pistas de esquí de fondo en el área de Traverse, a solo unos minutos de la casa.
Esta cabina cuenta con espectaculares vistas desde toda la zona de la cabina principal. ¡Se siente como si estuvieras sentado justo en el agua! El salón tiene una Smart TV (sin cable), WiFi para transmisión. 1 dormitorio con 1 cama queen. Un pequeño loft al que se puede acceder por escalera (el mejor para niños mayores y adultos) tiene 1 Twin. Futon en la sala de estar. Sábanas y toallas incluidas. Hay una cocina completa (sin lavaplatos) con muchos artículos de cocina para cocinar todas sus comidas.
Al aire libre, disfrute de las amplias terrazas con una vista de pájaro de todo. Este es un lote bastante grande, por lo que hay espacio para recorrer un poco. Levante una silla, lea un libro, traiga su café y siéntese a la orilla del agua y deje que sus preocupaciones se vayan flotando. No querrás irte. Hay una parrilla de carbón. Was amazing place! The sound of Boardman River was lovely and relaxing and was a great spot to do some morning yoga and meditation. The hot tub was perfect addition for stay, and I had everything I needed to make for an enjoyable vacation.

Beautiful setting, with calming river sounds; just what the pictures showed. The river water was definitely… invigorating! The hot tub provided excellent warm-up and relaxation. Lovely view from tub, deck, and all rooms.House interior is comfortable and rustic, with a well equipped kitchen.

Reviewer Comments: We've enjoyed this wonderful property three times over the last four years and it is always a comfortable, relaxing, restorative break along the beautiful Boardman River. While secluded and quiet, the cottage has most modern amenities and is a quick drive into Traverse City. We always travel with our dog, so his being welcome is also a big plus. Some updating and maintenance here and there would be nice and perhaps adding AC for the summer months (we visit in the fall) but overall, this is a great spot!

Everything was clean and the property was in great shape and even better than expected. We got to use the hot tub quite a bit as well as the kayaks. We also fished most days and caught a few brook trout.

Needs a lot of love. Rodent droppings all over by entry door upon arrival. Food crumbs all over dining table upon arrival. The water is terrible smells like rotten eggs, undrinkable, as well would not bath in. Were led to believe there was a propane grill, as there was not. Overall grounds not kept up. A plunger and used air filter sitting outside the entry door, junky look. Would not recommend!

Beautiful property and cabin. However the ants were alot. I found traps n put them out. I couldn’t do much food prep with ants all over the counter. Need to do something about the ants in the kitchen.

Quiet family getaway

Great property and location! Quiet and peaceful with all the amenities and then some. Kids love the nice open yard and exploring near the river. Also loved enjoying the beautiful scenery from the hot tub. Would definitely recommend!

Another perfect visit!

We just love staying in this cabin! It is perfectly situated out of town but close enough for day trips to the local establishments. The cabin provides the perfect getaway and has all of the amenities making it extremely comfortable.

Winter Get Away

Peaceful, the river is close and viewed out of every window. The hot tub was hot and ready; my dog and I had a wonderful long weekend, hiked the trails, enjoyed the snow, even made it to Sleeping Bear. Great location and just a short drive to trails, Traverse City, and all the surrounding areas. If you stay in winter, a 4 wheel drive is a must, the driveway access is not for the faint of heart. My Mazda had no problems tho! While staying there I broke the coffee pot karafe, and another was dropped off promptly. Had a lovely stay and a relaxing weekend. Just what I was looking for! " Would stay here again!"

You almost can dive into the Boardman river from the sliding door. We spent our time watching the river go by and the snow falling, while a fire burned in the wood stove. At night hot tub under Jupiter, Mars, and Orion! Cooked dinner 2 nights at "Home" with ease. It was clean, well stocked. furnishings were comfortable and cozy - all utilities worked fine. Everything in the listing was there and more - the were all sorts of kitchen gadgets. With wifi in the 500/mbs range. The place was a totally peaceful winter scene ... yes the well water is a bit eggy but the provided filter in the fridge solved that. I am thinkin about a summer speedo to entertain the Kayakers!

Winter Stay

We loved staying here. We came up when there was a lot of snow on the ground and especially enjoyed the hot tub. The river running right by the property is breathtaking. A beautiful, secluded spot in the woods was the perfect recipe for a getaway with my husband. Cabin was clean. And we were thankful to have 4 wheel drive to get up the driveway! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This is a perfect property, it is tucked away right next to the river, an amazing balance of being in town and being in nature!! I would absolutely recommend booking with them!

All the views!

The views through the panoramic windows in this cabin were amazing. The tub off the deck was amazing with the views! Everything was just as expected inside and out. We would definitely stay again! We called and asked for an additional night. They accommodated us and they were very easy to deal with.
