Steps From Boutique Shops And Restaurants, And A Mile From Downtown
“Big Blue” is a large house – over 4,200 square feet – located in the beautiful and historic Hyde Park, North End district of the city, literally steps away from some of Boise’s best dining and parks, within walking distance of downtown, and a short bike ride from the best that Boise has to offer.
The house has four bedrooms, a very large living room with bar, formal dining room, finished basement/entertainment area, un-fenced (currently) backyard w/BBQ.
Big Blue is perfect for larger groups and families. There are two master suites with queen beds, 1 room that serves as an office/sleeping with a queen bed, a downstairs bedroom with a full and twin bunk bed set along with a full size futon. Eight people can sleep comfortably in the bedrooms.
The best part of the house is its location: in historic Hyde Park, you are literally within a block of Goody’s candy shop, Java Coffee Shop, Hyde Park Bar & Grill, numerous restaurants, antique shops, book stores, spas, and many boutique shops. You’re also a short 5-minute walk to Camel’s Back Park, with hiking and running trails, tennis courts, and playgrounds.
Although you’re close to everything, you’ll enjoy the peace and quiet of the leisurely neighborhood, small back yard and bbq.
Other amenities include large screen plasma TVs with DVD players, Wi-Fi, Roku and a property manager that lives in the neighborhood and can help you with everything you need.
A great house for executives, families or large groups. You'll find that you don't even need a car when you stay here, as the wide tree-lined streets are very pedestrian and bicycle friendly.
Within one mile of the house: grocery shopping, numerous restaurants and bars, yoga studios and spas, hospitals and clinics, theaters and cinemas, and much, much more.

About Alisha Coy
A third-generation Idahoan, I bought this house but live out of state with my family now. We couldn’t bear to sell it, and we would like others to have the opportunity to enjoy it as much as we have.
Alisha Coy purchased this House in 2006
Why Alisha Coy chose North End
The size and location: big enough for large groups, close to everything but peaceful with friendly neighbors and it is close to everything.
What makes this House unique
We love the fact that we never have to plan anything here: you can wake up and decide to bike to the Boise River and enjoy the zoo or museums there, or walk to the park for a game of tennis or some hiking, or stroll downtown for the Farmer's Market or to spend the day shopping and dining. You can do nearly anything you like and be close enough to home to easily come back for a snack, nap or to get some work done in the home office, or entertain friends or family in the big living room and backyard.

We loved the space. The location was perfect!! TV was challenging as we are used to satellite/cable.
This house is in easy walking distance of many shops and places to eat in Hyde Park. It is a mile and a half walk to downtown Boise for shops, movies and great food. We were also able to walk to a grocery store to pick up a few items. We stayed with a group of young couples and it was nice that we didn't have to load everyone up to drive for food or entertainment. This allowed us to be more independent. We found the heat hard to regulate - the main living area would warm-up but the other rooms felt cold. If we turned up the heat the main living area felt too warm - we had a baby with us otherwise it would have been an issue. The upstairs bedrooms had their own heater which was very nice.
Wonderful house, amazing location, and great assistance.
I hope to stay here again. It was amazing!
Alisha was great! The house location was amazing and was so spacious. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was very clean.
Nice house for Wedding weekend!
We were a two family group, with teens and 20 year olds. Plenty of space for all to be content.
We had issue with the code for initial entry, but the house manager was able to quickly resolve it.
Loved how generous the kitchen was stocked- truly made it easy for a family member with food issues to make meals.
Would happily rent there again!
The Blue Hyde Park House
Nice house, conveniently located at the edge of Hyde Park in Boise's North End. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, good bathrooms with good showers and plenty of hot water. Good kitchen plus a gas grill out back for those who like to cook. A very responsive host who came right over when we had difficulty firing up the heat, which hadn't been needed since early May. We would certainly consider booking this house again.
The beautiful, serene and historic Hyde Park area of Boise's North End, less than a mile from downtown Boise, St. Luke's Hospital and the Capitol Building, and steps from boutique shops, restaurants, spas and yoga studios, Camel's Back Park and more.
