Super cute little cabin.
We had a great stay. No stove/oven and a dorm fridge is what they have, but worked out fine for us. Something that needs noted is if people come for the day it is $5 per person per day. Great little place and will be back!
We loved staying there. Sleeping for 2 on the loft was great. But the 2 sofas converted to beds are not comfortable to sleep on...maybe for kids, but not adults. Sink in bathroom is too small, but doable. Other than that, we still enjoyed the stay-perfect for a couple and kids.
This cabin was exactly what we needed. We wanted to hike the old zoo and lake area. This was minutes from the location. We were even able to bring our dog along. Everything was very clean/tidy. Easy check-in and check out. We would stay here again if we ever come back.
Nothing fancy, but perfect! Jason was awesome with communication. And the bait store and staff were amazing! I highly recommend Jason's hot sauces. We got the green and regular. When we checked out we had to stop and get more for home. Definitely coming back in the near future.
Jason and his sister, Josie, were very nice and available for questions. They even contacted me to let me know I left a bag behind! Cabin was clean and comfortable. It was heated with electric heaters. I was a little cool the first night, but plenty warm after that. The stairs to the loft are like a ladder; no handrails or railing around the top. Not great for someone who sleepwalk 🙂. I was glad I took my own pillow. Theirs were stained and had no pillow covers. (They did have pillow cases). I didn't use the lake across the street, but the view was beautiful.
This little A Frame looks exactly like the pictures! It’s right on the lake and close to the boat rental shop. The gal that gave me the tour and brought me my keys couldn’t have been nicer. The property owner was responsive and easy to communicate with. I’d stay here again.
Had wonderful and relaxing time in this cabin. Strongly recommend.

Very quiet part along the river, where we were able to make a fire and grill. Highlight was really affordable canoe rentals at the lake store just a few yards down.
Was a wonderful place in Cisco to stay. The cabin was very nice and had a great view of the lake. The cabin was equipped with cooking essentials and laundry. It was nice to fish from the dock too. Very close to the town with shops and grocery store.
Check In was smooth, they welcomed us immediately upon arrival. Everything was just as described. We were offered extra firewood and anything we might have needed. They truly wanted us to be comfortable and have a good time. We will come back, had a great time. Loved the view from inside and at the picnic table.
Jason and His cousin Derek were awesome host! We enjoyed the rentals (kayaks, paddle board, paddle boat) , fished, had bonfires, BBQ, Hung up our hammocks to relax, the kids had a blast, and we overall Just enjoyed every bit of our stay!
Thanks CLR
I stayed here since I had nearby meetings and it was so peaceful! Jason was a great host and showed me around the cabin when I arrived. The cabin is so cute and has great views of the lake.
2nd time renting from here! Will again and again! Great little get away spot, perfect sunset watching and always plenty of wood for late night camp fires!
The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed!! The pictures actually show exactly how cute it is and that bed was so comfy! I will definitely return to this cabin when I’m in town.

Perfect little getaway
This is one of those rare instances when the property looks better than the pictures. Very nice and well kept. The owner met us upon arrival to walk us through everything and was courteous. The water is beautiful to look at from the front window and outside by the grill, fire pit, and picnic table. There is a dock and small beach within walking distance but the lake is rocky if you plan to get in you may want water shoes. There is a Brookshires grocery store and a few cute small town shops about 5 minutes into town and everyone we came across was super friendly. We have a big family and live in the Dallas area so this was the perfect distance to get away from it all but not so far that we were exhausted from driving or the kids became restless being cooped up in the car too long. We will DEFINITELY be coming back again!!

Very comfortable
Jason was great. We had a great time. Large groups might get a little tight but for a vacation for 2 that like to fish it is really hard to beat. Thanks Jason and you will see us again.

Hi I'm Jason! I am an avid outdoors man, father, biker. My passion is fueled with a great respect and appreciation for nature, the road, humanity and history. Fishing, hunting and taking care of my family, friends & neighbors are some of my greatest joys! My hobbies include traveling, engineering, carpentry, welding, recycling and DIY projects. After 14 years of drilling for oil companies I found myself in the position of needing to find an alternative career to provide for my family, so in February of 2016 I took on a project of restoring an abandoned lakeside resort and began my journey building Lake Cisco Rentals. So far the journey has been awesome and I've met lots of great people!
