The Secret Garden Cottage

Light and airy plant-filled garden cottage, east facing with private terrace, and wifi. Newly renovated with a contemporary aesthetic, the space has been beautifully furnished with items picked up from our travels around the continent and Europe. The array of plants in every room mix with the afro and vintage inspired décor to create a truly inspiring sanctuary.

For those sportingly or adventurously inclined we also provide the free use of two bicycles, along with the knowledge of cycling routes around the city and/or suburbs. It’s a fantastic and different way to experience the city of gold.

We also have showmax available for use in the cottage.

The cottage is located in the historic jacaranda lined suburb of Kensington - close to the buzzing Joburg CBD and Maboneng (5 mins drive / 15 mins cycle), OR Tambo airport (15 mins), Eastgate and Bedfordview malls, Ellis Park stadium and all major highways.

Separate bedroom, kitchenette, lounge, bathroom and private garden terrace for morning coffee / breakfast in the sunshine. Freshly ground Ethiopian coffee is provided. The kitchenette area has a fridge freezer, kettle and oven. Braai facilities available on request.

There’s secure on-site parking. The cottage has excellent security with a separate alarm, as well as electric fencing.

Airport pick-ups and laundry can be arranged. We have a very friendly whippet.
