Relax and unwind in this fantastic space, private court yard, perfect for a getaway with loved ones. You will not be roughing it with 1000 Egyptian cotton sheets and Duvet covers, bathrobes, fluffy towels, complimentary shampoo and conditioner. Get ready to take a 3-4 minute stroll to the beach, start your morning with complimentary coffee and cream. Fully equipped kitchen for a long stay as well as cool drinking water tower fountain. Stainless steel pots and pans, toaster, blender and coffee maker. Surround yourself by nature and a 3-4 minute short walk to the white sandy beach. Upstairs bedroom is secluded and private with balcony with views nature. Quite, peaceful and safe. Enjoy cards and board games for family fun and private dipping pool for those hot days ahead. Casita Miya is on 2nd row facing north towards the beach.

This is a beautiful home with attention paid to every detail. Comfortable beds cotton sheets quality cookware bright and open while still being private, I could go on and on. Very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. It is also just a short walk to the lovely and almost empty beach and also very close to a local seafood restaurant if you dont feel like going in to town. Chelem and Chuburna are about 40 minutes walk in either direction or a short car or bus ride. Highly recommended!

Hola! Bienvenidos a Casita Miya! I am originally from Sinaloa, Mexico. My husband and I honeymooned in Cancun and fell in love with the region. We traveled and visited many times and we promised each other to one day we would retire there. Sadly, my husband passed away and this home is in some way me keeping our promise to each other. We loved entertaining and having family over. I extend this invitation to you and your family. Let me be your host.

I love Chelem. It is a small fishing village with lots of quaint small town feel, 15 minutes drive from Progreso and 40 minutes from Merida. Far away but close enough to get away from hustle and bustle. You are also a short 4 minute stroll to the beach. Surrounded by lush tropical trees and nature. Quiet, peaceful and safe.

What makes this property unique

Casita Miya will be a luxurious place to stay. You will not have to sacrifice comfort here. I want you to have the best experience. This home was built in 2025 with the beautiful architectural design and features. Chukum finish color Rosa, pleasant to see. Your sleeping comforts will be relaxing with 1000 thread count Egyptian sheets. Complimentary shampoo and conditioner, fluffy bath and pool towels as well as bath robes. Complimentary makeup remover towelettes to help keep your sheets clean while you sleep. You will also enjoy cold A/C in every room, not just your bed room. Furniture and decorations are carefully thought out to make your stay memorable. I stocked the house with board games, cards and other items that will bring joy to any family member. Kitchen is fully functional for a weekend stay or long term. Stainless steel pots and pans, every utensils available for cooking plus plates, mugs, glass wear and silverware enough for 8-10 family members. Complimentary coffee and creamer for your morning start. Basic seasoning will be readily available, olive oil, salt and pepper. First aid kit available for small emergency situations plus insect spray and bug repellent will be provided for short duration. In addition, I have placed emergency lights in every room, they are disguised in small wooden birds, just press lightly on the crown/head of the bird to light up. I also place small hand flashlights & blue lights in kitchen and bedroom drawers.
