About Heylen Thienes

My husband and I came through Bend on the way to somewhere else and fell in love immediately. We love taking advantage of living in such a beautiful place... whether it is riding our bikes to 10 barrel, floating the river or going to a concert.

Having grown up in rainy London I try to make the most of the sunshine. My husband restores homes and I'm a graphic designer, so it's awesome when we get to collaborate on awesome projects like this one!

Guestbook comments from the owner

We absolutely loved the way y'all decorated and the landscape was gorgeous! I enjoyed reading out back and just enjoying the peacefulness of your little oasis! We had never heard of Bend Oregon! WOW! We had so much fun visiting the different stores downtown which was right up the road, and making our way through the Ale Trail!! We hit 11 (really 13- but they were closed cause of the 4th of July) out of 14!!! pretty awesome! Thank you for making our vacation so enjoyable!

Bend Millhouse

We had a wonderful time in Bend and loved this little cottage! A great central location and the Millhouse is lovely with its craftsman details and period pieces! We highly recommend it!

So Cute

  • 5 of 5

This is a great property for a couple, if you want to be close-in to downtown Bend and Old Mill District. It is very clean and restored beautifully. Quite neighborhood. Great restaurant a couple blocks away. I would recommend to anyone and look forward to an opportunity to rent again.

Very stylish

  • 4 of 5

We loved the style of this refurbished condo! The backyard patio was so relaxing to sit and read or have a cocktail at night. Loved having use of the bikes and paddleboards---we used both, rode for coffee in the mornings, and paddle boarded at the river that's approx. 2 blocks away!! All was gorgeous. My only problem was it was a little tight for 4 of us (2 would be great, or if you had 2 young kids, like up to age 8). I had two older teenagers. The only bathroom is in the back of the main bedroom, so that was a little hard to share with the 4 of us. Other than that it was gorgeous, clean, very nice and I highly recommend it.
