Situated on five acres with over 5,400 sq feet of living area, the hacienda provides spaciousness and privacy - yet is just minutes away from the Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain, world-renowned Miraval Spa,
golf and shopping.
Stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and desert make unforgettable sunsets and star-studded evening skies. Beautifully appointed with quality furnishings and luxury amenities, the home features 4 bedrooms (3 king, 1 queen) each with an en suite bathroom, a huge chef's kitchen, large great room, formal dining room, separate library, music gallery with piano, and office.
And whether you plan to play chef or have us hire one for you, you'll find the kitchen a pleasure. Fully stocked with every convenience and an island seating bar, it features a large prep area with two sinks, an indoor grill, six-burner gas stove, double ovens, and wine refrigerator all surrounded by hand crafted custom mesquite cabinetry.
Outside, the main 3000 sf patio area is like dehaving your own resort with a 50' swimming pool (see heating note below), built-in gas and charcoal barbecues with entertainment bar-- plus pool house with sauna, wet bar and outdoor shower. Guests enjoy evenings for s'mores and conversation around the fire pit, the sounds of the Spanish fountain, and the native flower gardens, orange, grapefruit and pomegranate trees. Two additional patios provide guests with quiet space for watching the birds and butterflies or just taking in the sun.
Upstairs, the 600+sf master suite is a private oasis with a balcony affording majestic views, a charming loft with wood burning fireplace and wet bar for toasting the sunset. The master bath also has its own balcony, walk in shower and jacuzzi.
Best of all, Pasos del Cielo offers the opportunity to relax and experience the beauty of the desert on your own five acres, hike and bike for miles outside your door, and play golf, shop and dine — just minutes away. What a wonderful home and property this was! Large house with lots of space for everyone in our family. Sits in a quiet neighborhood and you feel secluded as it’s a gated property but grocery store and restaurants just a few minutes away. Great time in Tucson

Four couples in their late 60s-70s spent a week. The house met all of our needs for cooking, and eating and hanging out. The patio area and pool were large and beautiful. Nice views of the mountains. Hosts were great and very responsive to a couple of minor things that came up. We would definitely stay there again if we were all in Tucson together.

Our group of 3 couples stayed in this amazing retreat at the end of March 2022. The house was fabulous for us ~ plenty of room to relax, a great kitchen and absolutely beautiful outside patio/pool area. We loved that the horses were in the driveway to greet us as we drove in the first day. Jan, the owner went out of our way to make our stay memorable. Hacienda Heaven

4 business colleagues attended an industry event taking place at the Ritz Carlton. We initially chose it for the close proximity to the Ritz. Everything else was a huge bonus! Close proximity to grocery store and restaurants. Hacienda is as described and better. While not completely remote, it is peaceful, relaxing, and quiet. Unfortunately, most of our 4 days were spent off property, but we carved out enough time to enjoy the spacious and well appointed home. Jan and Craig were gracious and responsive hosts, made us feel at home. Was able to feed the horses on site. It was a Hacienda Heaven.

Amazing Home and Delightful Owners

Home is absolutely beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and welcoming. Property is amazing to include a horse stable with 2 horses (which we fed carrots). Count your horses before we left cause one of our friends wanted to take them with us. But with all the shopping we did, had no room for them in our car. Hahaha!!! Owners Jan and Craig are super sweet and took great care ensuring we all had a wonderful girls trip. Would definitely come back to this amazing VRBO.

This home is exactly as advertised. There were enough bedrooms and baths for 7 adults in our family reunion. The kitchen was our gathering area. The outdoor areas were beautiful flowering enclaves. The sunsets and night sky enchanting. There were only two issues: the location of the house, and the intense afternoon sun. I chose the house on the number of bedrooms, baths, kitchen, price--not its location.I am unfamiliar with Tucson and had no idea it was so far away from the eastern side where family lived.The sun in late afternoon made cooking dinner a challenge--it was so intense we blocked the sun with a tray placed in the large window over the kitchen sink. That helped. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Luxury and privacy

This amazing 5 star property was just like presented on the site, except better! This home was designed fro opulent gatherings of groups of people where the host couple would have an enormous "owners suite" on the top level and the guest would all have their own private luxury appointed rooms, each with its own bath and shower. The amazing kitchen is designed fro group gatherings and comes complete with literally every kind of gadget you would ever need. A formal dining room added a special touch of ambiance for special candle light dinners. The sprawling pool was clean and refreshing and the massive pool deck included a pool house with a large steam sauna and a relaxation lunge as well as pool toys. The magnificent orange, grapefruit and pomegranate trees were abundant and supplied never ending amounts of fresh squeezed juice made in the provided juicer. Jan and Craig were the ultimate hosts and were always available but not intrusive. The 5 acre grounds provided privacy, places to hike and even a small stable with two horses! The location is close enough to everything and just far enough to be off the beaten path. This is a must rent property. You will not be disappointed, in fact will be amazed and will definitely want to return.

Very private hacienda in the sun

Wonderful inside and out. Extremely spacious and well decorated. Large kitchen with all necessary implements, including a juicer which you can use for fresh grapefruit and oranges in season. The grounds are great, too. Lots of birds and the coyotes howled for us one night. Polo, the horse, welcomes apples and carrots. The owner, Jan, is nearby and always helpful if you need anything. We would definitely stay again when back in Tucson.

Two great weeks in AZ

Put simply, you couldn’t want more from a vacation home. This is a supremely appointed property with so much to recommend it - the pool room with sauna, outdoor grill area, great bedrooms, fabulous living and eating space….the list of superlatives is endless.
